I ordered from the Healthy Choices section, which is great for people watching their carb intake, and ordered the chicken (thigh) kabob. It comes with salad, veggies, hummus, cucumber yogurt, and baba ghanoush. When I received it, it was missing those last 3 sides. It took a few minutes to get someone's attention and when I mentioned, hey I think this is supposed to come with xyz, the waitress barely made a facial expression and said, you want sides? Well, yes, but it's supposed to be included, why act like I'm asking for something extra? My partner's meal was correct and tasty. All the food was good and we will be back again to eat. Perhaps they were just understaffed? They did seem busy and the waitress seemed tired and kind of checked out. Overall, the food options are wide and all the sides seemed freshly made. The interior is a contemporary table and chair setup and clean. I was the only one there at 3 PM. I ordered the beef koobideh, which also had a nice pita, hummus and tzatziki board accompaniment. The kabob was medium well, juicy and spiced to perfection. The rice, tomatoes, salad and pickles were a good match. The quantity was generous and I took about half home for another meal. The best koobideh I've had. I've been in a healthy journey so was happy they have healthy options. Literally the protein kebabs with delicious flavorful grilled veggies with side salad. The meat are grilled to perfection never over dry. The chicken is amazing so tender and juicy. They have really good dips and hummus and pita. And huge servings ! I always have leftovers. There was only one other pair nearly finished eating at the restaurant, otherwisebit was empty. After some time, some workers showed up and it took them a while to get their help after trying to get their attention. We choose this place for an impromptu dinner out when my friend dropped by for a visit. The funny thing is I have gone to the nail salon just 2 doors down but oddly never noticed this place. From the outside, it doesn't look like anything special. But once you step inside, it's quite lovely. You are greeted immediately by the friendly staff and service is timely. Food portions were generous and delicious. My only complaint was when it came time to pay, the server didn't bring an itemized bill for us to check, just the total. My friend was treating me so she was told to go to the register to see the bill, which they only showed her on the counter. This forced her to try to calculate the tip on the spot and pay with the server staring at her. She felt rather intimidated. They said it's not their policy to print receipts. Whaaaat? If they are trying to go green or if their printer was broken, they should have said that. But they didn't offer a better explanation. It's about transparency. My friend says she just has to assume their math is correct, but I was a little mad about that and would have said something if we hadn't already left the restaurant. I may not be back, based on that alone. I expect an itemized bill to review at my leisure before paying, even if hand written. It's all about transparency in business practices. read more

Came here for lunch on Tuesday. It was pretty quiet. We shared babaganoush and mixed kabobs. The plates were quite large, so it seems sharing is encouraged. Cons: one server was not friendly. She kept giving weird looks to one friend, and I wasn't the only person who noticed. Food: some parts tasty (salmon kabob was cooked well), chicken was ok, beef was ok too. Pita seemed store bought, nothing special about it. The beef kabob was the only one with two skewers. The chicken and salmon only came with one skewer, my husband thought that the menu noted to skewers per kebab order, so you should double check that if you plan to order kabobs! Their baklava is made fresh in-house, although I still feel like the Gilroy spot (Mr. Falafel), is/was way better when it comes to baklava! Had their Koobideh, Kashke Bademjan and Salmon Skewer. Koobideh was pretty good and one of the better ones I've had. So flavorful. Not sure what spices or seasonings they use but it was good. The Koobideh Entree came with two skewers of the juicy beefy ground beef kabobs, salad, grilled tomatoes and basmati rice. I ordered Zereshk on the side, which is barberries. It had a sweet and tart flavor, like a cross between cranberries and pomegranate. It was good sprinkle in the rice and the salad. Complemented the Koobideh flavor. The Salmon Entree came with same sides as Koobideh but only one skewer of the grilled salmon. The Salmon was perfectly cooked, juicy, on the salty side. Not fishy at all so fresh good quality salmon. The Kashke Badenjan (eggplant spread) was ok; came with pita bread instead of lavash. The restaurant dining room was nice and had an inviting appeal. Felt like going to an up-scaleish Mediterranean restaurant on a Friday night. DishDash is our usual spot, but I was in the mood to try something different, so we ended up here. Didn't realize how close to my place it is. I've noticed that similar Mediterranean restaurants tend to have a darker theme typically (in terms of lightning), but that wasn't the case here. Brightly lit. We went quite late and got seated pretty easily, opted for indoor seating over outdoor. The food, We wanted one appetizer to share and two entrees. We'd noticed that the Mediterranean sampler (platter) had a lot of good reviews and decided to go for it. And we regretted ordering this. Not for the reason you'd think though. The dish was humongous. The amount of pita, and the number of dips were staggering, add falafel and dolma to that. (most of it authentic and delicious, especially the dolma). It was waaaay too much for two people. We were full by the time we finished this dish, LOL. We checked the reviews but forgot to check the pictures and ask them how big it would be. Go for it only if you have at least 4 people. The server told us, "good luck on finishing your food" while he served us this. Wish he'd said this while we were ordering! And then the main courses came, - Chicken Kabob Plate (Joojeh - Thigh): went with this on their recommendation, was confused about which chicken to go for. The chicken and rice were both flavorful, but I wish the chicken was a little more tender. I expect the most tender chicken at Mediterranean restaurants! Salad was nice. - Beef Kabob Plate - I did not taste this but herd good things from my friend. Well, we could barely finish a third of our mains and took the rest home. They gave good variety in terms of the different versions of the same type of protein they offer (ex: chicken kabob, ground chicken) so I think I'll probably be back to try their other dishes.
