Great service, drink, and ham and cheese croissant. Plenty of parking. I had a seasonal horchata latte which was great.

Went here a couple of days ago ; There was no wait everything was fairly quick. I like that I can order a mimosas or sangria . But I'm not a fan of the bagel sandwich. My go to is the Joe special and the ratio of eggs and bacon is very off putting. Other than that pretty good. But my egg was also a little under cooked

    Horchata latte

*****Latte review***** I saw a sign on the counter saying their Horchata latte was back, so decided on that one. It wasn't bad - it just wasn't a horchata latte. Just tasted like a latte with no flavor whatsoever- maybe a hint of vanilla. Not for me. If I came back, I didn't skip these latte and try a different one. Their bagel sandwiches look good, so may give those a try next time.

This is a coffee shop inside the LBX Hangar mall. I tried their Hawaiian blend and it was tasty. They also sell pastries and sandwiches. Customer service was also good. Overall good experience.

    joe's special with sausage

Been coming to this location practically since it opened and have always had a wonderful experience here. The service is always great and the Joe's special can't be beat!! I normally get the Joe's with bacon but the nice cashier suggested I try it with sausage and it was amazing. Definitely recommend to anyone in the area

Located inside the Hangar at Long Beach Exchange. This is one of the spots inside that opens early before all the other places. They have a good selection of bagels and bagel sandwiches. I got the bacon egg and cheese bagel sandwich and a plain bagel w/ cream cheese. Service was pretty quick and the staff were nice and helpful. Overall had a good experience and good food oh and the freshly squeezed OJ was excellent.

    Horchata Latte & Cassidy's Club

This is my 2nd time trying out this spot! First time I tried it was a bit bland don't remember what I ordered. This second time around I ordered the club sandwich and horchata latte. Unfortunately the horchata latte was way too sweet and this is from someone who loves a sweetened coffee. I did ask if they could fix it but it didn't change much, I threw it away. Now the sandwich was so yummy I would definitely get it again! The staff was friendly and food came out quick but overall my experience has been OK. It's in a nice area so I may explore other places nearby.

    "Veggie" cream cheese.

I love the Cassidy's on Atlantic in Bixby. I go there very frequently... I was at LBX today so I decided to grab my 8oz veggie cream cheese refill while here at this location. Big mistake.. first off, it wasn't mixed well. It was basically half plain.. which whatever. But the recipe is completely different than the other Cassidy's. This one didn't taste like veggie, it tasted like some kind of odd, sour chili pepper cream cheese? It was just gross. So now I have to throw away 8oz of CC. Welp, go to the other Cassidy's.

I've been to this location a few times. Not my favorite Cassidy's around but also not to the worst. Staff are nice and friendly. Located in the Hanger at LBX gives you choices if someone doesn't want a bagel. Be aware it can get busy, especially on the weekends and holidays. Parking can also be a struggle but there are lots all around. The struggle here for me is consistency. Sometimes my orders are great and perfect and sometimes there is a mix up. I've had barely any cream cheese when I ordered extra, and it once got a bagel with nothing on it when a sandwich was ordered. I will still come here but make sure to check your order before you leave.

The bagels are great. But I ordered a bagel with bacon, cheddar, egg whites, and sweet cream cheese. They did not put cheddar on my bagel. And they slobbered the hot bagel with cream cheese making it disgustingly messy. Also, the bacon was nothing but fat and undercooked. I've had several bagels from this location and others and they've never been this underwhelming.

    "gluten free bagel"

Eeeeyuck!!! I never write reviews but I absolutely had to when this thing arrived. This is the smallest "gluten free bagel" I've ever seen. I'm not kidding it's the size of a mini donut. Also look how messy and unappetizing it looks. Honestly so devastated, because I love Cassidy's. This is just not it

Stopped into the LBX hanger for a quick caffeine fix and was pleasantly satisfied with their coffee. I like how they had samples at the counter to try their specialty to help you make your decision. It worked, because I ended up ordering the 4-2-1 signature coffee with almond milk which was delicious! The person working was super nice, even found out we both went to USC (fight on)! I will definitely be back to try out their bagels that they are also known for!

Plain bagel "with cream cheese" and jam. Where's the cream cheese???
    Rosalyn K.

Why advertise cream cheese if you're just going to serve plain bread with jam? This isn't the first time it's happened, but I'm honestly over it now. We ordered two plain bagels with plain cream cheese and strawberry jam, and once again... barely any cream cheese. Before I even pulled the slices apart, I could tell. And sure enough, when I opened it up, it was exactly what I thought, basically just bread with jam. All we could taste was the jam, no balance at all. A bagel with cream cheese shouldn't feel like a guessing game. The bagels themselves are actually good, which is why we've kept coming back, but this keeps happening. Please address this with your staff, because if I order cream cheese, I'd really like to taste it.

Besides, for the next (insert the duration of your cruise here) days you'll be eating at the buffet a least once a day. No need to start Buffeting it up before you step foot on the Lido deck. That's what brought us to 5th Ave Bagelry. Located less than 1/2 mile from our hotel, it was an easy walk down the surprisingly un-busy streets of Long Beach, CA at 9:00 on a Thursday morning. 5th Ave Bagelry has A LOT of varieties of bagels. To put a number to it, about 25 different varieties of bagels, all made fresh on site daily. Add to that, 8 different flavours of cream cheese and you've got nearly endless bagel-and-cream-cheese options. To be fair, you're not limited to bagel & cream cheese. They also offer breakfast bagel sandwiches and non-breakfast bagel sandwiches and a few specialty items. Even though it was 9:00 in the morning I was tempted to try a pizza bagel but I resisted. The siren song of a jalapeño bagel with jalapeño cream cheese wins out every time. (This is a proven statistic. Just ask me.) They also offer an endless variety of coffees in just about every possible fashion (latte, espresso, iced, iced blended). Smoothies, juices, and soft drinks round out a very impressive selection of offerings. The staff at 5th Ave Bagelry appeared to be very focused. While they weren't swamped when we visited, they did have a steady influx of customers. It's an order-at-the-counter-and-we'll-call-your-number-when-it's-ready arrangement which seems to work well for them. All food is delivered in a paper bag. Our food delivery was about 10 minutes and everything was hot and accurate. My iced vanilla latte was exactly the go-juice I needed to jump start embarkation day. My jalapeño bagel with jalapeño cream cheese? Chef's kiss. I love jalapeño bagels that present a little spicy heat. The jalapeño cream cheese managed to round out my "Jim loves spicy food for breakfast" life choices. During our roughly 1/2 hour there I didn't see anyone come out from behind the counter to tidy up the dining room, which was needed. I'm assuming they had a pretty intense breakfast rush and just hadn't fully recovered yet, as one of the two trash bins was full. In a perfect world I'd be able to visit enough to try all of the bagels, but home isn't in Long Beach.

I placed a pickup order and it was ready in about 15 minutes. I stopped by around 1 PM, which seemed to be one of their busiest times. Both the food and coffee were a solid 9/10 -- everything tasted fresh and delicious. It was definitely worth the wait. The only thing to keep in mind is parking. It appears to be mostly metered street parking, and I got lucky because the meter I parked at still had time left on it. Overall, great coffee, great food, and a really cute atmosphere. I ordered the Desi ($11.75) simply because I was curious about the hollowed out bagel situation. I suppose this is the healthier of their options because it comes with egg whites. It also comes decked out with bacon, avocado, jalapeño, cream cheese + lemon pepper. I chose a Parmesan bagel as my vessel and it was a very tasty breakfast bagel. There were hints of lemon pepper which was an interesting flavor addition. For a more traditional breakfast bagel, Joe's Special ($10.50) was quite special. Since then the grilled Reuben has been my measuring stick for every restaurant that serves it. It's a must! It shows the attention to detail. It's not a sandwich you can rush. It requires its own time to caramelize and set the flavors up properly. Just like a house made soup, a Grilled Reuben can tell you a lot. And, it just happens to be my favorite sandwich of all time! So. High marks on the store itself. It has a very open air feel, lots of natural lighting, high ceilings and then a hidden court yard behind the shop. It's very clean with lots of colors and art. The music is perfect for the space. The menu is varied and they have both alcoholic drinks and non alcoholic drinks. It's a deli. And they absolutely fill the roll perfectly. And as anyone will tell you, who frequents any deli in the country. What matters is the food. Period. All the niceties mean nothing if the food distant stand up. So... how did they do? Meh. I've had worse. Much worse. I've also had much better. And understand his is my personal opinion. I'm well aware that my comments will not reflect the opinion of everyone. But, the corned beef. They do not cook it in house. It didn't appear to be a brisket although with it being shaved as thinly as it is I don't know if that would help. Brisket corned beer works best when it's nice thick beautiful cuts that break apart and melt in your mouth. But. As you can see in the picture, they don't grill the corned beef but they do pile it pretty darn high. Which is nice. The sauerkraut wasn't grilled. The rye wasn't roasted long enough so the Swiss didn't properly melt and set. Not enough Thousand Island dressing. The rye has the perfect texture and it helps to very nicely. An excellent Jewish rye! The pesto pasta salad was very nice. And it looked as if the other sides were made with an equal amount of attention and love. So high marks there. This is one of those tough reviews because the reality is the atmosphere, the staff and the location are all excellent. The sandwich needs some work. Remember that the Grilled Reuben is the ONLY TRUE American Sandwich. It was created from scratch for the 1942 World's Fair in New York City. It's an original! Treat it with the respect it deserves. And this three star sandwich... of all sandwiches is a hard pass. Sorry. But, if you would ever like to have me come into your restaurant and show you how to serve the best Reuben of your life... just invite me back.
