I used to come here when I was a child and now I came back to take my nephews and it's so sad. The workers are extremely rude. No one greeted or acknowledge us(All the ride operators) . We were ignored by them and they had attitude. We got there when they just opened. I can understand if we came later and they had a long shift but if that's how they are starting their day, I can't imagine how they act when a couple hours in their shift. Don't get me started with the train operator. He was frowning the whole time and not a word came out of him. Also, a lot of the rides were not open. Very few selected ones. I was extremely excited to go back and check out the ghost blasters ride but of course that was closed too. I think they should have a sign out front to let you know that about half of the park rides/entertainment is closed. It was over priced to get this kind of experience. Omg !!! This is a must !!! Monday- Thursday tickets are only $25 for anyone over 36"!!! It was so much fun!! They even have a water area which you are allowed to go to in regular clothes but you have to have a swim suit to go down the slides. None the less this is such a hidden gem !!! This place has become a joke, I grew up here my parent brought us here all the time and now that my kids are older I was hoping enjoy the experiences that I had as a kid here with them and sayly it was a huge disappointment. Prices are ridiculous few only a few rides to be open and the one that are open require an unrealistic height for kiddos to even ride. Shoot I rather spend the extra $ and go to Disneyland or even Knotts atleast I would get my moneys worth never again will I spend a dime here. Grew up here but never visited until yesterday. Took my twin toddlers and was pleasantly surprised. We arrived at 12 on a Friday in mid-June but the park was not full. As the day progressed more people came but the kids were still able to ride everything several times with very little lines. The bathroom & grounds were very clean but you can tell overall the park does need some attention. It's understaffed so some rides are not open or an operator is hopping between 2 rides. The day we were there only 2 or 3 of the rides weren't open so the kids still got to go on about 9 or 10 of the rides. The water park is very well set up and the kids loved spending some time there. The biggest issue would be food. It's VERY overpriced and generally not that good. The Pizza Hut personal pizzas in the Arcade was however, pretty decent. Recommendation to Management: * Work on engagement with staff. Most of the staff interacted very little with customers. They rarely smiled and most looked bored out of their mind. * A little at high quality is better then a lot sloppy. It would seem to be better to close the park a few days a week to spend time painting, dusting & cleaning up areas. Then open on the weekends with a bang. *Would suggest partnering with local collage art programs to help create new facades. Several areas of the working park are exposed with lots of supplies being seen by guests. Would be a much nicer experience to see cute painted facades then junk & supplies. read more

Spent the day here with a few family members. We all had a great time. A few rides were not working, but it didn't deter from the outing. We started out playing miniature golf. It was personally my favorite mini golf experience. It was a lovely, well maintained course. The staff were sweet and accommodating for my daughter's needs (she sometimes uses a wheelchair). Enjoyed the Log ride. Been missing the one at the park near my home. I think that this is an affordable day outing for families as well as adults. I do believe they also have a water park area when the weather heats up. Hopefully more people will check it out regardless of the lower reviews. We truly had a great day. read more

Not a great place to hold huge birthday parties. Everything was way over priced. Most rides were down. Paid for the gold package and the room but did not know we had to share the room with other people. Food was not great. Every food item was very salty. overcrowded couldn't really enjoy playing Minigolf since they only hold birthday parties on the weekend. Felt like i was ripped off by paying for the gold package and spending $1,800 because it did not provide food for the adults. Adults had to pay for their own food and drinks. Most of the rides that day were down and we did not get discounted for that. Impossible to play Minigolf feeling rushed all the time because they're people waiting behind you . overall did not have a great experience. Not a good place at all to throw a huge birthday party. Castle dark... a mess. I'm no stranger to haunts. I make it a point to go to a few every year. The reviews for this place led me to believe it would be a little lower budget than six flags, but still a good time. I can't explain how underwhelmed and unimpressed I was. My biggest issue was the scarers. They are not well trained and it shows. Their idea of scaring you is to appear behind you and scream in your ear as loud as they possibly can. I'm not exaggerating. One of the female clowns left my ears ringing which definitely soured the rest of the night for me. There were more than a few who did this. jump in front of you, scream, done. Can someone tell them that's far more irritating than it is scary? And this is coming from someone who loves scarers at haunts! I love being scared! I appreciate their efforts and always try to give them a reaction to encourage them. There was no effort from many of the actors. As for the mazes, if you can call them that... I'll start with the clown maze. Oh, the clown maze... a 30 second walk through nothing but painted walls and clowns jumping out and, you guessed it, screaming. It was relentless. One after the other jumped out, some squirting water on your face. Cause, you know, making your mascara run is scary. I'll tell you what's scary - going to fix your face after it got sprayed and seeing a male clown looming right outside the women's bathroom like a bouncer. I didn't even bother going in the meltdown glow maze or whatever it was called. Other members of my party went in and said it was even worse than the clown one... pass. There were two or so actors in the entire maze. There were zero props in both. Just walls. My neighbors yard is decorated better than these mazes were. The crooked man was marginally better, though that's not saying much. There was at least some effort with decor and costumes here. Was it scary? No. Was anything at castle dark scary? No. I can't even give it the benefit of saying its a good place to bring your kids. Calling this haunt 'family friendly' would be a euphemism for what it truly is: juvenile and immature. I really wasn't expecting too much tonight, but apparently I overestimated it. My advice? Train your actors to be tastefully scary and make one GOOD maze instead of three shitty ones. My favorite part of the night was playing air hockey in the arcade. And that's sad. EDIT: The director of castle dark sent me a private message shortly after I posted this. Had never been here, and finally made it. It was perfect family fun with kids. As it gets dark the teenagers take over, but it still had a chill vibe. Half the rides were closed on a Friday evening at 6. We did what we could, then played in the arcade. I will be going back to play mini golf and check out the water park. read more

Here is the deal, this place gets a lot of flack for being a little run down and understaffed. And truth be told, this is an accurate complaint. At the same time, where else can you go for $15 per person for unlimited rides and mini golf? There is quite a bit to do here for the money. And if you go in with the right expectations, you and your family will definitely have fun. Rides are comparable to what you would find at a nice county fair, and the 3 mini golf courses are pretty nice. If you have small children, there are a lot of rides for them as well. This joint also sports an arcade, magic show, carnival games, and some limited food options. Our daughter turned 4 and we booked the Gold birthday party package which is a great deal. It's for 10 kids (including birthday child) and includes unlimited rides, unlimited mini golf, pizza of your choice for all the kids, souvenir cups with unlimited refills for each child, crowns, a return ticket for each child, and each adult is only $10 (normally about $60 for all that). Every child and adult had a BLAST! Park was well kept and tidy, clean and stocked restrooms, only 1 ride was closed down (most likely due to covid), and our hostess was INCREDIBLE (was her first day too). We booked the 1.5 hour party time for 3pm and with that came front row seats to the magic show and I had tears down my face from laughing so hard, the show was just fabulous. His slight of hand is other worldy and his assistant, Dawn, is super nice and also the booking person for the birthdays. My daughter even got to help out on stage, the entire auditorium sang happy birthday to her, and the music they played isn't just silly kid songs. I loved every song thst came on, and even got me to dance!! Food outside of the included package was delicious, good portions and reasonably priced. The arcade was even clean! Mini golf is always a hit. The rides have a well balanced assortment from fun and slow kiddie rides for any age to an intense scream your head off loop coaster and most attractions were "fluffy friendly" (I am a plus size mom ). I cannot stress this enough: if you are considering booking a bday party here, do it. It will be the talk of the year and your kiddo will feel so special. Facility is non smoking, but even if you do smoke it's not hard at all to exit to the parking lot and re-enter (this place is super accommodating). They have a bag check and metal detectors which I appreciated. We all had such a great time thst we will be booking it again next year and also for our other daughter. We're also going to get an annual pass because we just can't say enough positive things about our experience and would go every weekend if we could. read more

If I could give less than one star I would. The park is disgusting, the food was awful, and the staff do not care what goes on there. First we went in to do mini-golf I asked at the front if the golf was handicap accessible and she told me yes. It is not. I had to fight for a return of my Mom's ticket for golf because she couldn't even get to the course. We decided to get lunch while we waited for our party to play golf so she wasn't just sitting around. The food was terrible they have a sign up on the wall for chicken tater tots, but when you order it they let you know that haven't offered that for a few years now. We ordered burger, pulled pork and chicken tenders. And it was all awful tasting and poorly cooked. The tables and the floor were disgusting. When we asked for a rag they said they couldn't give us one that someone was supposed to be cleaning the tables but wasn't. read more

We love this place we get annual passes every year. I renewed pass online and realize there wasn't a parking annual pass when we showed up at the park. I paid the $15 to park and when I came inside they advised me that there is no longer a annual parking pass so now with my annual pass I have to pay $15 every time I come to the park how is this fair? Keep in mind I bring my kids once to two times a week in the summer and once a month the rest of the year. This makes me very disappointed as me and my family love this place. If I had known this information I wouldn't have renewed my pass. So sad because we Love Castle Park. I can understand a increase in the parking pass but taking it away without any warning is not cool! Is there a new management? Is this corporate? We were charged for parking when we should not have been per their own website which states that parking is free if the rides are closed (opens at 12PM) but arcade and golf is open (11AM) we came to play golf and showed the parking attendant what the website said; she called her supervisor who couldn't give a clear answer and said we still had to pay. i had a great time, i just got the gold annual pass which is on sale and when i went there wasn't too many people so we got to go on a good amount of rides. my kids had a blast at the carnival games and the employees were really friendly with them. the dining pass they have is definitely worth it if you're planning on staying for most of the day. cant wait to come back through the year read more

Race Baiting at Castle Park: I took my family to Castle Dark tonight. $25 for parking. After completing the 3 mediocre mazes, we decided to try some rides. After nearly reaching the front of the line, the 2 kids in front of us invited their 4 friends to join them in line. I softly reprimanded them for cutting the line, as I would my own children, since their parents were nowhere to be found. The addition of the 4 kept two of my own children from making the ride with us. These youngsters continued to be disrespectful to us which we weathered. However, following our next ride, park staff pulled us aside and accused me of racism although race had not been part of our conversation. The parents of these misbehaved children should have been with them and should be ashamed of the race lessons they've taught. For me, the decision has been made that we will NOT return to Castle Park. If you're white, and you still believe in raising children through community to be respectful, this is not the venue for you. read more

I took my 7 and 8 yr old here on a Wed and we all enjoyed the day. You can purchase a Summer Pass, for $30/ea & that gets you unlimited visits to the park, water area & golf through SEPT. 22! *Water area is pretty small.. more like a Splash Pad w/3 tiny slides. No little pool to hang out in. Adults can go in but not on the slides. My kids played in here for a good hour or so & I was able to cool off. *"Cabanas" are small EZ-UPS right next to everyone. Not worth paying for! *Not crowded AT ALL. We didn't wait in 1 single line. *My kids were able to ride all of the rides, not that they wanted to, but I had a blast riding solo on a couple! *$10 parking *Overpriced food but I brought a backpack with snacks & it wasn't checked at the entrance. *$1 Carnival type games. *Miniature Golf was really fun w/my kids! *As many other reviews mentioned- the restrooms need a major remodeling. They were so stinky & out-of-date. All & all, this was well worth the price and we will definitely be back multiple times before school starts! read more

So our group went to Castle Park simply for the mini golf and we were not disappointed (for the most part). Only $14.99 will get you unlimited mini golf until 8pm on a Sunday which is not bad. Got there about 2pm and went straight to concessions for some snacks before we started playing, only to find out the snack bar was closed in that specific area (hence only 4 stars). Small personal pizzas and okay BBQ foods were the main items. Funnel cakes and dip-n'-dots were another favorite. On to mini golf. 4 courses with 17 holes each, and the 18th hole is really just a ball return. We were honestly only able to complete 3 courses out of 4 and we had a blast! Definitely fun as a group, or even a date night out. Bring comfy shoes as there are a lot of stairs and hills to walk up down and all around. Definitely will be back to check out the rest of the park. Mini golf was 9/10! read more

Great, charming amusement park for an incredible price! It is a bit far for us (we live in LA) its about an hour and twenty minutes without traffic) but it is worth it. The kids can't wait to go back! The service was great, the food is a bit expensive like most amusement parks. But overall clean, great ambience. read more

She's yelling at employees who are special needs and trying their best. Get her elsewhere that attitude makes customers turn away! This place is a joke. I bought tickets online for their mini golf course and paid extra for 2 meal vouchers and $5 worth of arcade games. We get there with no one telling us that reserved spots are separate than the regular line. So we wasted about half an hour standing in line. Then we get to the food spot with half the food not available because they ran out. Then we ordered what they had left and very rudely Mia and Jenny snark at us saying it will be a 5 min wait. We said ok we'll wait no worries, we waited 20 min and our order was never called. We go back in line and ask about our order and they again snark at us asking for our ticket number. This place needs an attitude adjustment with their workers and better customer service. Get your stuff together Castle Park. 0 star rating! read more

The park is OK but if you need to get food or drink be prepared to wait a very long time. And they have made me take food and drink back to my car even though we have a diabetic child and one that is gluten intolerant. So, then we go to there food stand where we wait in line for 25 minutes to order and then another 45 minutes to get the pizza. today I waited 40 minutes just to refill a cup. It got really hot and having to wait in line for a half hour plus for water is why they're medics are constantly rescuing people who have become dehydrated.. I was really excited to check this place out with my family. Sadly i had a bad experience. First ride my girlfriend and daughter get on broke down. You would figure that staff would immediately press the E-stop button to avoid the cart that's coming in from crashing into the one that's stuck NOPE! 2 staff on this ride and one keeps asking if she pushes the button and the other staff says no. They're both just standing there watching this all play out until my daughter's cart crashes into the cart was stuck pushing them onto the platform to get off and now my child is stuck! these people start laughing!!! How is this funny! My 8yr old is on there and the kids in the front were the same age! I would of rather had them stuck at the top than to having them crash in the stupid cart! My daughter didn't want to ride anything else after this incident. read more

Visited castle park today (09/23/2023) with my son he loved it, it was amazing we experienced great customer service the few employees I encountered were very kind and welcoming the young lady in the front doing parking was friendly another young lady (I loved her big eyelashes and make up) was very warm, welcoming and funny I didn't get her name but to the young lady in the blue shirt and the big lashes thank you for your kindness! To the gentleman in the arcade I think his name was Darion thank you so much for being so patient with my son while he selected his rewards!
