I visited Castle Spa and Massage on May 1st and booked a one-hour massage with Ying. I paid $140 and had high hopes, especially since I left my hotel on the Strip and drove out specifically to try something different. I usually enjoy visiting off-site spas when I travel, and I was looking forward to a peaceful, relaxing experience. Unfortunately, the massage didn't quite meet my expectations. It was just okay, but not especially relaxing. I'm usually a little sore and sleepy after but none of that happened. I had to drink a glass of wine after I got back to my room to get to sleep. Usually I can't even keep my eyes open and am ready to dive into bed. What made it difficult to unwind was the constant conversation throughout the session. I tried to close my eyes and relax, but the conversation continued the entire time. I heard about her personal life, her friend's health, and even got some unsolicited wellness advice. While I understand she meant well, I personally prefer quiet during a massage so I can fully relax and enjoy the moment. Before the massage began, she asked if I wanted to shower--which caught me off guard since I had already showered before coming in. After the massage, she also offered the sauna, but at that point, I just wanted to head back to my hotel. The whole experience felt a little awkward, especially since there didn't seem to be anyone else in the spa at the time. I also thought this was going to be a full Korean spa experience, like others I've visited that include pools, saunas, and different relaxation rooms. That wasn't the case--it's a more basic massage studio setup. While this spa may work for others, it just wasn't the right fit for me. For the price, I was hoping for a quieter, more serene experience. I do hope my feedback is taken in the spirit of improvement--it's clear Ying cares, but sometimes silence truly is golden in a spa setting. read more

Went here for a little Galentines, and it was chaotic just trying to know the process in order to start the service. We felt rush to begin the service, the lady at the front kept checking in to see if we were ready but because she was in a rush to get started, we had to constantly ask questions. This was around 12am so it was just us two as well. Curtains were sheer and a little opened when changing, then when the service started I wasnt instructed very well how to lie on the table with the blankets/towels. 2 ladies came in, I believe the front desk lady showed the "masseuse" where everything was and as the service begin, the "masseuse" wasn't even hitting anywhere I had put on the paper, and she wasn't respectfully fixing the towel to hit areas, i was exposed and she didnt fix it. The front desk lady and "masseuse" kept coming in and out of my room talking loudly and the front desk lady even showed the "masseuse" how to recline the table?? it clearly seemd like her first time... as i was nude under the towel, and i heard another client come in with my door cracked open a little bit. safe to say, i was disturbed, disappointed, and uncomfortable. read more

This business is not honest and try to scam customers. They offered a free trial for my 16 year old daughter . They did laser treatment for her without telling her that this treatment needs skincare products to maintain. $65/30mins for a crappy massage was what he paid. Pre-paid $60 with $5 transaction fee. Now mind you, it wasn't me. My bf's brother went in while my bf and myself finished eating dinner a couple shops down. He doesn't Yelp, so here I am! How it started: We saw this while heading into the restaurant and it peeked my bf's brother's interest, I joked around they probably offered "happy endings"... oh boy you guys.. He went to get a quote after eating (around 8:30p) and came back with prices. I told him it was pricey ($160/1.5hr) for a hole in the wall in Chinatown and we can go to an actual place tomorrow, but he didn't want to wait. My bf and I shrugged and said go for it then. When he left, I was curious about the reviews and looked them up on Yelp. As other reviews has said, it's sketch. How it went: His experience was not worth it. The first girl came in with a short club dress and it felt like she didn't know what she was doing and about half way in, whispered in his ear, "do you give extra tip?" His response ".....uh, yeah.. if you do a good job" (LOL) He then asked for a different girl- whom he said did a SLIGHTLY better job. They asked if he wanted to extend the time- he said no, finished up the rest of his massage and dipped. He came back to the restaurant and the first thing he said was "I think that was a sex place." My bf and I asked him what happened to see if it lined up with the reviews we read on here and after he told us what happened we showed him the reviews and he said it's accurate. Mood - That Wooden Box I saw pictures of this box and knew I wanted to soak in it and see what it was all about. Everyone always has their ideas of what they deem expensive or cheap ect. I can only go off of my experiences traveling all over for what I deem for either of those. I called and had questions and everything was answered with ease. I knew I wanted to soak in the hotsprings ( wooden box) and have a body scrub. It is getting close to spring and I have never entertained one before so I figured might as well do something new. They had same day appointments which worked in my favor. I love when things work out perfectly. Upon entering was quickly greeted and given a run down of the services offered. Decided on the pass and the body scrub. Was led down the hallway to the locker room area and given towels and a bracelet to get in and out of the locker. The body scrub was def different. I never experienced a scrub like that before. The room had the vichy shower as well, this makes it so much easier to remove the dead skin and scrubbing agent as the techinicians work. Was a fairly quick treatment. 30 mins or so. After which I was led to the herbal sauna to open up my pores. I could have stayed in there for hours. Finally after the shower was led to the hotsprings. Now you know when you see a picture and you entertain it for yourself in real life and you are disappointed. This did not happen. It looked exactly how the picture did. The technician asked me what kind of soak did I want and she added the powder to the tub. Now that water is hot. I felt like I was the meat in a rare pho being cooked. However my skin was amazing when I got out. Would most def recommend - pricing in my opinion is typical for what they offered. Lala was the technician and she was amazing. I broke bones in the top part of my foot recently and she took extra care to pay attention to that. Staff were very courteous and hospitable. Everything was very clean. They have full access to red light therapy and a fantastic collagen bath -steam room and top notch equipment. All of the features here were very specific to beauty and health. We came in looking for a massage. It was pretty late but we figured it's Vegas so things are probably just open later. The massage costs $100/hr and we figured that a higher price meant higher quality. Red flags: 1. They make you pay BEFORE your service. Everywhere you look it says no refunds. I went to use the bathroom and noticed a sign that said once you go into the massage room you can no longer receive a refund. 2. The bathroom has no soap dispenser only a moldy piece of bar soap. Really strange for a place that is going to be touching person after person. 3. When my "masseuse" came in she was wearing a skimpy red dress with her bra peeking out from the dress. I started to get the feeling this was a sex spa and wanted out. But obviously no refunds and good Yelp reviews made me believe I was overthinking it. I am pretty sure this place is not a real massage parlor. It was clear the woman had no idea how to actually give a massage. She was using one hand to rub my back and another on my arm. Can't imagine why you would split up the pressure. To add onto this awful experience my skin broke out in rashes from the oil they used. If you have sensitive skin I would be very careful. read more

We came in as walk-ins at 1:30am and we left at 3:30am feeling so refreshed and relaxed. Steam room and showers included, we utilized them twice (before and after massage). You get a private dressing room with so many amenities! Blow dryer, toiletries, lockers...towels and shower sandals...its SO nice. Clean, friendly smiles in the wee hours. Yes, pricey, but i would say it is worth it! I know a few places who charge maybe $40-$60 less BUT they dont offer all that Castle Spa does. I have been to the Castle Health Spa a few times. Each time I have visited the spa, I was worn out and tired. The shower room is clean, there is a changing room, clean towels, and shower shoes. After the massage, I have enjoyed the steam room. In addition to the facilities, the staff has always been kind and friendly. Especially Vicky. I was extremely nervous since massage parlours on that side of town and boy I'm glad I was wrong. Loko was nice and friendly and explained all of the options. Well, after my Doctors appointments, I went here to relax and to see how Castle Spa is different from the massage places I regularly go to, because their price is really kind of pricey. When I get inside, it was a normal reception out look area, but it was tight clean. I was approached by the receptionist and She gave me Summer as my masseuse. I did used their sauna and steam and it was pretty clean and smells real nice. They also have shower area that is also clean and complete shower needs. They have a dry up and locker room that you can use as well. After the massage experience with Summer, all I can say is that their price is fair and square. It made me relax and calm. Their steam room is amazing with a low setting light, and eucalyptus mixed with the hot steam was a perfect mix. Very Clean.
