I'd give this Korean spa about 3.5 stars overall. The place itself was very clean, and I honestly have to say they had a lot of amenities. Every room felt unique, and I really enjoyed exploring the different spa areas. The woman who did my body scrub was AMAZING. She was incredibly thorough and seriously got every inch of my body. The massage afterward also felt fantastic. My skin honestly never felt so soft and smooth afterward -- literally baby soft. That said, there were a few downsides. First, I was surprised they don't provide slippers. I've been to several Korean spas in LA and San Francisco, and I've never experienced one where you either had to bring your own or purchase it there. And they had nothing to dry your hair or curl your hair after you were done with your services. No Q-tips, no tissues, no hair ties, hairspray, deodorant, or anything. Also, I'm not from Vegas, so I had no idea about the area until the Uber dropped us off, but the neighborhood felt very sketchy and honestly a little scar. The inside of the spa felt completely fine and safe, but the outside surroundings definitely caught me off guard. In fact, the Uber guy, who had dropped me off, told me not to wait outside. As across the street was a place where you go in for parole and to check your ankle monitor. I also felt the woman at the front desk could have been more welcoming or informative. Most Korean spas I've visited usually give first-time guests a quick tour or explanation of the amenities, but that didn't happen here, which made it feel a little awkward at first. Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to try the restaurant since I arrived right when they opened in the morning and it wasn't open yet. Just got back from my first visit to The Imperial Spa and I feel fan-freaking-tastic! For all the mixed reviews I see on this place, I had a very enjoyable visit. I decided to purchase a day pass, which runs $45, 7 days a week. There is some really value here with that price. At check in, the receptionist was very friendly and asked if it was my first visit. She explained what was on the first floor (gender separate) and what was on the second floor (co-ed). She also handed me the "uniform" and a locker key (on a scrunchie), as she called it, for the co-ed spaces. Cool! And off I go! I went to the gender separated men's side first and set myself up with a locker. Like I said, this place is deceptively huge. The locker space has plenty of mirrors and stocked with all kinds of toiletries. The men's wet area is over to your left and the co-ed dry sauna and staircase leading to the co-ed second floor. In the wet area there is a massive hot tub! The jets on the sides are kind of weak, but the ones in the back are perfect! I spent a good chunk of time in here! You also had 2 steam room area side by side. Kind of odd since they are both fairly small. The steam was fantastic though! Also spent a good chunk of time in here! lol Finally, I decided to put on the "uniform" and do a little exploring. There is a TON of lounging space and quiet spaces upstairs. It was very quiet and peaceful. I spent a little time in the Ice Room and that was pretty chill (see what i did there?? See? :) Personally, I'm not a big fan of the cold as much as the warm/hot. The red clay ball room is something I had read about yet never experienced before. It was a very interesting and unique experience. I NEVER fall asleep in spas (or in public, really), but after a few moments of laying here I started to legit doze off. Definitely want to do that again. I've seen cleanliness mentioned in other reviews, so I guess I was braced for something, but it seemed very clean to me. You can tell the building is older, but its much nicer inside than you might think from the area it is located in. There is some real value in that $45 price also. You can get here as early as 9:30 am and, I believe, they are open until 8:30 pm. I only needed a couple of hours today, but the reset it gave me was worth it. Yes, it may not be as opulent as a lot of strip spas. You will also pay an average of $120 and up for that difference. There are only (2) things I did not like here. (1) You only get one towel. I'm not one of those guys that grabs a stack at a time, but man, you should be able to get a second or third towel if you are there long enough. (2) No sandals. This is the big one for me. Too easy to pick up funguses and other unpleasant things walking around everywhere in your bare feet. I will bring my own next time, but this was less than comfortable for me. All that said, I will be back. I love the steam and hot tub a lot and now I want to go back and do the red clay ball room again. I will just bring an extra towel and some sandals with me next time. lol I wavered between 3-4 stars, but they were nice so that gives them the bump up to 4 stars. 4 stars. read more

Listen, I do have a soft spot for this place since I've been going the year they opened... but, this visit felt different. It has been two years since I've visited and this spot is noticeably more run down than last time, unfortunately. I don't want to claim this will be my last visit here, because I have enjoyed the many years, but this visit made me almost sad. As-in... no hot tubs were working (so, I got a $5 discount to $40 which still feels high at $40 when I could get these same amenities at a gym), the clay rooms felt like they hadn't had a deep clean in a long time, the mats in the sauna look ancient and dirty. I don't know? This was the first time I felt a little ick on cleanliness here. I hope this spot is able to recover and get the hot tubs back up & running, because the construction zone & caution tape definitely isn't relaxing. Don't be frightened about the area, true definition of it matters what's on the inside. Considering this place is spa, taking pictures is rather prohibited. It is $35 to spend as much time inside as you'd like. You get to choose from a hot tub,cold plunge, 2 different saunas. Upstairs you have a little cafe, along with an arctic room,clay room,stone beds and massages. This establishments offers just about everything you could want in a spa. Prices for massages are a bit pricey and I have yet to try, though I look forward to it. You may want to make appointment for skin/massages but not necessarily for the roam around. It is totally optional to be nude. You can shower,and you do get a locker with a pair of shorts and a shirt with the $35. I've been itching to go back already. read more

At $35 for spa access, it's such a great deal, especially for Vegas. I've visited some bigger nice ones in my travels and this one, being the only Korean spa in Vegas, was not bad at all. Even some of the spas in Korea is not as nice as this one. I came here on a Tuesday night around 6pm. The staff at the counter were friendly. They do take credit cards with no extra fees. There is definitely room for improvements but at $35, it's a steal. But they could easily fix some things and raise the rates. I noticed that a lot of the shampoo, conditioner and body wash dispensers were not refilled, the vents in the pool area could be wiped cleaned, I didn't see any hooks to hang your towel, the lounge chaise sunked in, the hair dryer has seen better days, the comb sanitizer machine was really dirty and they could install a temperature gauge for some of the therapy rooms. What I liked, was the jacuzzi, cold plunge tub, the "Flash Dance" movie rain shower, 2 steam rooms, sauna and the foot massagers in the cold room. I would definitely return. read more

I guess that's not what happens at Korean scrub spas--or at least not Imperial Spa. If you are at all familiar with real spas, massages, and skin care, I hope to save you from my experience. No, I didn't read reviews first, which my children have told me is soooo dumb to do. It's located in a terrible place with garbage strewn around unsafe parking area, mixed with homeless encampments and discarded sharps containers. The interior is basic and not remotely calming. Bright lights everywhere except in the dry spa; those glowed red. The staff seemed to be Chinese. I stayed in the downstairs women's area only. They did not provide slides so I had to walk barefoot throughout the spa, which is unhygienic. The robe and towel they gave me smelled sour once it got wet. The hot tub area was occupied by very loud women taking at the tops of their voices, despite the "quiet" sign. It just got louder and louder during my 2 hours there so I gave up wishing for quiet. During the scrub and massage I could hear everyone hollering. All scrub rooms are open during treatment so don't go to this spa if you require privacy while naked. The scrub was nice. I recommend getting only that service and nothing else. I paid more for the other services as bundle but was a waste of money. The massage was not really a Swedish or even professional, and although it felt decent, the fact that it was on the scrub table not a specialized massage table with face hole, made a painful crick in my neck. The "facial" was a simple mask. The toiletries were as cheap as possible--the hand lotion was "Suave" and the shampoo smelled like it, too. The showers were beat up and there were no hooks anywhere to hang towels or robes. This place might work for someone wanting only a scrub or going with friends, and maybe upstairs was better. They are currently offering a $40 day pass for this spa which gives you access to their pool, salt and stone rooms. However when we arrived, there were several things that were broken and under construction. The quality of what we were able to do was definitely worth the money. They have entrances for women and men on the first floor and then co-ed on the second floor. For the co-ed floor, you have hot stones which is worth wearing the uniform. After having a good experience at the Fullerton location, we went to the Vegas one in an attempt to relax after a long weekend. It is kinda of in a non-descript looking building in a not so nice-looking area of town. But once inside you are transported to relaxation. The day pass is $35 to use the Jimjibang and the other areas. The locker room areas separated by gender are clean and pretty spacious, there is a water station and hair dryer for your use as well. However what I notice is that there are far less amenities since Covid, such as hair ties. Not a huge deal, more of an observation. One thing I did find a little strange was that you are allowed to wear a swimsuit in the jimjibang. Considering I have never encountered this at any other Jimjibang and thought the point was to not bring in any contaminants (I.e. why they made you take a thorough shower before entering). They did have a large hot tub, 2 cold pools, a wet & dry sauna which were not crowded at all and almost felt like a private space experience. Also located in the locker room is a Himalayan sauna that I quite enjoyed. Upstairs you find the co-Ed area with the clay baths, ice room and red clay sauna. My favorite is the red clay balls, and in this room they also had other stones you could lie in although I'm now sure of their benefits. The red clay sauna was also unique since it had individual spots for you to lay in. It almost felt and looked like you were in a pizza oven. The floor in here is also heated, and I mean that it is hot! I took about 5 steps and felt like it was burning my feet. I like the red bean sauna, first I heard about it. Parking was ample. However, the location seems shady. Tons of boarded up places around. I definitely won't come here at night. I came for a sea salt body scrub and massage, hoping to experience what I had in Korea last November. The service was okay, but I still prefer the original in Korea as expected. However, there was some language barrier (maybe). I kept telling them I want a 80-minute massage after the body scrub. They kept telling me yes. Guess what? The first hour was for the body scrub & the next 20 minutes were for the massage--a total of 80 minutes. If you are going here, make sure you verify everything. My first time going here was a good experience and literally I came back in less than 2 weeks and the price went from 30 to 55 Mind you there is no extras of a 5 star spa No shoes no water bottles no robes no snacks .... Also there is now no fitness center !!! Amenities don't include any gym equipment, NO upgrades so why $55 dollars!! This place is not worth 5 star prices there's torn couches stains and employees lounging on the couches watching tik toks! The SPA doesn't even offer ice towels or shoes!!! The spa where the jacuzzis are is cement and no shoes is pretty gross not to mention they don't clean the vents! So please why do you think $55 is worth it? You only get a robe if you have a service. Not to mention their kitchen is now closed 2 days and prices were also hiked up by $5-$8!! I rang the bell no one came the team was lounging on the chaise loungers didn't speak English the janitor called the kitchen. A coke can is $3.75 and Gatorade $4.75! I absolutely love this place! I try to go once a month. It's never very crowded and it's the BEST price in Vegas for a day pass. Right now it's $45 all day spa use of the rooms like the sauna, hot tub, cold room. It's fantastic. It's not going to be the most luxurious/fancy place, but those spas cost $200 for a day pass. If you don't care about the big fancy chandeliers and lavender popcorn that other spas have, this is the place! ALSO make sure to bring cash for the massage chairs on the top floor. It is a little bit off the strip definitely not walkable but a quick Uber ride will get you there. It does look a little sketchy when you go there at night as it's in the middle of nowhere. But the actual location itself is very safe. When I got in here, the lady at the front desk was very welcoming and asked me where I was visiting from. She gave me a rundown of the entire place and let me know that a pool or two was closed. I thought a few hours would suffice but let me tell you this experience was phenomenal. I could've been there all day! I really love this and I highly recommend it and would definitely come back if I was in the Vegas area again. They have a variety of rooms definitely not as big as the ones in Korea itself but overall pretty spacious there's two floors. They also have services that you can book along with food. Just make sure you check ahead of time because the food isn't available every single day. I love my experience here. It's so calming, it's so relaxing, and definitely worth it. If you don't have anything on the agenda, I highly recommend getting a day pass and just spending an entire day there. They have chargers and outlet so you can definitely charge your phone. I went to Imperial Spa over ten years ago and I remember thinking it was very inexpensive for spa services. No longer the case - it was over $200 for their "Touch of Scen Tao" service which includes a Korean body scrub, a face mask, and a half-assed massage. This is comparable to what I pay in Silicon Valley - and about what I paid for a 50 min massage at Aria. So most K-spas I've been to have a hot tub, a warm tub, and a cold tub, but this one had one labeled "warm" and the other two not labeled and they were cool. The person who checked us in did not really show us around to explain anything which was annoying since we said it was our first visit. Also they hand out very one size fits all spa outfits which don't fit everyone and I didn't want to try to squeeze myself into them. Since I couldn't wear the spa outfit, I didn't see the upstairs. The person who did my treatment was named Sunny and she fit her name - she was very cheerful and likeable. The shower room also needed maintenance as some of them were non functional and were growing mold. The furniture is tired and shows signs of wear. The only new thing was the massage chairs you had to pay extra for. This was massively disappointing. It narrowly avoided my 1 stars because the optional massage was good and came with a drink. I travel to Vegas a few times a year. I make it a point to use this business a couple times while I am in town. I have been coming here for around 10 years in my opinion this place has gradually gone down hill. This past week I visited twice. The 1st time I booked the K scrub. Everything about that experience was excellent! However while I was trying to enjoy the amenities before the scrub, the Owner I am guessing was creeping me out. He was constantly walking around staring guys down from room to room. Someone finally asked him what he was doing. His reply was to prevent guys from doing funny business. They also now require clothing in the salt room and have installed a camera in the room. Don't know if the camera was real or not but I find that very inappropriate along with the owner was carrying his cell phone all throughout the facility. There are signs posted everywhere that no cell phones are allowed yet who knows what he was doing with his phone. I enjoy laying down in the salt room until I can't stand the heat any longer and then taking a cold shower to cool off. Who wants to get dressed and undressed to do that over and over. Needless to say no one was using the salt room. The second time I used this facility was the day I was leaving as I had a couple of hours to kill. When I was checking in the older lady at the counter which I am assuming was the owner started accusing me of paying with a credit card in the past and the last time I fought the charges. So she lost her money and had to pay a charge back fee. She told me she wanted her money. I told her I have never paid with a card and always pay with cash. I asked her when this was because I am not from there and the last time I was in Vegas was in March. She apologized and said she confused me with someone else. I get her frustration as I am a business owner myself. I have had charge backs myself. But, if you are going to confront someone make sure you have your facts straight! read more

Kind of disappointed with this one. Having tried two other Korean 찜질방, I'm not impressed. We went with just the admission into the spa with no massage or scrub service. There are only 4 hot rooms. But they don't get that hot!! The best part was the wet saunas inside the shower area and the wood sauna inside as well. That was real steamy. I have been here before previously as well to get a scrub and massage which was nice. It was a few years ago and the massage was short but nice. I would say if you're able to make the trip, go to Wi Spa or Spa Palace in Los Angeles. Wi Spa has gotten a bit crowded over the years but in my opinion still a great place to go. There are a few others that a lot of Korean natives go to as well, just do some digging! As a Vegas local this was sad because I hate driving to LA. I tried to make reservations earlier in the week but there were no spots for two available until Thursday. I got the reminder call the day before. I was asked to come a half hour earlier than my appointment. When we arrived, we were handed a towel, a small robe and some pink pajamas. The robe and the pajamas were not made for larger people. Small towels to wipe perspiration not given to guest as they were: As all Korean spas around the world provide. As Imperial gave before these owners arrived. Slippers not given as were given before these new owners arrived. As all Korean spas and Onsen gibe globally. How is it hygienic if ppl where their own slippers as they are not provided disinfected slippers. It's always been a Korean nude spa all Onsen and Korean spas globally are. Yet ppl are layered in costumes and garments in plunges. How is this hygienic? Several locks on lockers missing . TV in ladies jacuzzi area turned off. Several faucets in jacuzzi area and shower in need of repair. Why did these people buy this place? Looks like their only interest is to sponge off the public. $36 pp entry for day spa with 1/2 the things not working? We were told the red clay was the only thing not working. It's definitely cold, beds are cold and it's misleading to say it's operable. It's not. If you know what the red clay beds are for. Water dispenser upstairs removed. So now if you want water you go to lockers downstairs. It's making it easy for themselves but a disservice to someone paying $35 to get in. Over priced. Onsen Pataya charges $22 for day spa entry and $22 for Korean scrub. Imperial with a half functioning place charges $35 day pass and $95 for Korean scrub. That's a ridiculous jump. For facial massage packages an average massage at Foot spa is $60 for 90 minutes these guys are hoping you will pay them $200 or more??? They don't discount entry even if their facility has things not working. It's pretty much every time one or the other facility is not working. They know they have no competition and they are taking advantage of that. Never seen this place as shambles as this time. Owners not short of money he makes a lot off all the overpriced services. The previous owner did an amazing job been coming here 20 years. Cutting cost is evident. Owner should sell it to someone who is Spa Proud and truly wants to be a service to the wellness of the Nevada community. People like us who are residents know the difference in the cheap tactics used to rip ppl off and reduce quality of service. Even the front desk is instructed to upsell and misinform. Imperial spa used to be great back in 2018-2020. Now it's just over priced. Nothing ever works. This last time I went the ice room didn't work. No warning or discount. They don't do local discount anymore. I came in around 7. Lady in front said be out in lobby by 8:30pm. Then you have the cleaners kicking you out at 8:10 ? Like come on $45 for a measly 60 min? The restaurant seems to never be open, food is awesome, but I remember the cook once denied me food before the restaurant closed, so rude. If you're a straight man, be prepared to be looked at, hit in by other men too, it happens. Such a shame this place has turned into to. read more

If you are looking to treat yourself, this is a wonderful option. The staff are all friendly and ready to assist guests with their experience. The whole place is clean and calming. Bring sandals or flip flops if you don't want to walk around barefoot. The body scrub will make you feel like a new person. read more
