I no longer live here. Overall I was not satisfied. Besides from what I have already mentioned, there were a few other things that I was not pleased with. 1) Aside from the air conditioner being loud in one room, it started to make a buzzing sound. It would last for about two seconds. At first it only made it about 3-4 times but then gradually went on for two-three hours. 2) The bathtub started to get clogged. As soon as I noticed it, a week later there were plumbers working on the main line outside the building. Once they were done the bathtub was unclogged. I got a lot of back wash. That happened twice. 3) The garbage disposal area started to become an unsafe place to throw the trash. I found a couple of people going through the trash. I posted a picture of the area in my first review. 4) The neighbors upstairs had two kids and they were loud every day from 7am-9pm. It didn't matter how many times management sent out emails to remind residents to keep the noise level down, it never changed. 5) I always heard sirens. Every day at least once. 6) They kept $500 of my security deposit for paint touch up. It was unfair because one of the spots they charged me for was merely painted. It was like that when I moved in. I should've have said something before. They charged me $35 for a toilet paper roll dispenser. Which in my opinion was not of high quality. One of the tiny scews kept falling off. I left it alone for a long time. My recommendation to you, if you do decide to move in, make sure you take note of how well painted the place is and if the toilet paper dispensers are secured. If you find anything broken or not working make sure to fill out the service form online so they can fix it. Otherwise, you will be charged when you leave. read more

My husband and I were looking forward to move into the property for a 2 bedroom apartment . After he filled out the application online , he got a call from the property manager , Ivonne (female manager)while he was in the process of filling out the payment information. She called to notify him that he needed to pay 2 application fees per adult. He asked her if he can apply just for himself first because I was planning on moving in the same month and she had the worst attitude saying that the application wouldn't be fulfilled if he only paid for one adult (himself) although he kept explaining how he wanted to move in alone before I did. He mentioned that when I would move in we would continue with the second application fee. After Ivonn repeated her argument of the application not being fully accepted if he only paid for himself she laughed and seemed very bothered said " ok, have a good day sir" and HUNG UP. We were in absolute shock that we couldn't get simple answers and good customer service from the PROPERTY MANAGER IVONN. A few minutes later, I called through my personal cell phone with a great attitude "Hello, Goodmorning !" :) the woman on the phone answered "hi what do you need." I then proceeded "hello , what is the name of your property manager ?" She replied "we have many." Then I asked "Are you a property manager ?" She replied "yes." So then I continued in a positive attitude " what's your name ?" She replied "Ivonn" . Then I said " awesome ! What's your last name Ivonn?" She proceeded and gave me attitude throughout the entire conversation "I don't need to give you my last name." I was very confused as to how she couldn't answer the phone professionally and give attitude to my husband and I. The second time I called her in a very positive and giddy tone and she still was very RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL. I definitely don't feel comfortable calling this place given this poor customer service from a PROPERTY MANAGER !! I'm sharing this in hopes that a Professional Property Manager can do something about Ivonn's poor and rude customer service. Thank you. read more

I just saw the comment to my review and I think their response just further adds to my previous review. In my opinion, my review doesn't have any exaggerations. I merely stated the facts of what someone could expect if they were to live here and what we have experienced so far. If you are considering living here, take it however you want to. I pointed out the good and the bad, but management took this opportunity to aggressively and publicly criticize my review bit by bit. What they should have done was reach out to me directly and work with me on what they could do to help increase my rental living satisfaction based on what I wrote, privately. I would have happily left a more positive review if they had done this. Also, I was unaware of the ADA compliance requirements for the master bathroom. I'm glad I know now because my brother actually was in a terrible accident last year that left him a quadriplegic. I'm sure this feature is something he and others will appreciate. read more

Orlando is a terrible property manager. He was incredibly disrespectful to us during my time at this building. They have few amenities and I would encourage you to go down the street to another city. It is definitely worth it. You do not want to experience living with Orlando as your property manager. He is a lousy young amateur at best. Ever since Jessica and Ray took over ad new apartment managers the complex has really improved. Garage doors work & if not they are quick to fix then. Any maintenance issues are also quick to be resolved. Up keep of the complex is also amazing, apartments are blown and mopped weekly. read more

I am reviewing Catalina Luxury specifically around the apartment discovery and leasing process. I worked with Eric in June/July 2019 to visit the units as well as ultimately sign up for a 12-month lease. When I visited for the first time, he was warm, patient, and answered all the questions I had, telling me to reach out to him with any questions as I was apartment searching. After the visit, for weeks he answered all my questions promptly via text, never pressuring me to make a decision. When I decided to sign my lease with Catalina Luxury, another leasing agent showed me four separate available one-bedrooms, even giving me a tape measure to measure dimensions before I ultimately signed the 12-month lease. I'm excited to move into Catalina Luxury this August and I look forward to writing another 5-star review once I have lived here for 12 months. read more

Since the new management takeover of Ray & Jessica apartment needs have really improvement. Email responds are quick, any maintenance issue is quickly resolved. New management team has really improved the complex. Gym equipment has been fixed and new items have been added along with new pool side furniture. Parking could be more organized would be my only downside. Overall new management team has really changed things up from previous management owner. read more

Such a peaceful place to live at, family friendly, the pool is not as big but not a big deal for us, complex it's small so you basically get to know your neighbors, which are friendly but not Annoying, we have had some Nosey neighbors in the past , the appartment has white cabinets that close slowly, they don't slam which I love since I wake up early to cook breakfast for my husband and don't want to wake out the neighborhood or have to have the patience to close them slowly, we have our own washer and dryer yay! Wow! This place feels like a fancy resort. Elegant Spanish tiles throughout the complex, fountain, benches and beautiful landscaping lining the park-like walkways, complimentary Starbucks coffee, free poolside yoga classes, as well as special events in the clubhouse. Nice touches: Each unit is equipped with it's own washer/dryer, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator and stove. Orlando, the Resident Manager, is very informative, helpful and efficient. My boyfriend and I came to visit this apartment complex over the weekend and had such an incredible experience. Orlando was awesome and answered all our questions. In fact it was like he was reading my mind because he was so thorough with facts while on the tour I didn't really have much left to ask. The community is so beautiful and feels like a 5 diamond resort in Palm Springs. Love that they offer complimentary Starbucks coffee to the residents. It was a nice touch to sip on my coffee while on the tour. Highly recommend taking a tour here. read more

I found this place through google and it really is stunning. I took a tour this weekend to check out their one bedrooms. They have this fantastic clubroom where you can host events, meet the fellow residents or just hang out after work. The pool area is so chic with its pool furniture and bbq grill area. The one bedroom model is beautifully designed. It's great to see gas stoves instead of electric. It has its own washer/dryer in the unit. High ceilings and open floor plan make it look opulent. Exterior hallways are fun to look at with the Spanish red tile everywhere. And there's an elevator which is a must if you're looking to be on the top floor like me. 0 stars for this terrible apartment. First off, I'm order to get approved here you need to show them your entire life savings and probably still won't get approved. You need to be at least making 6 figures if you want to qualify for 1 person. But this is the management company the owners hired. They have 1 on site manager that lives here but good luck ever finding him since there's no designated office. And if you ever need anything don't bother asking the manager he doesn't know ANYTHING, he will tell you to contact the management company through telephone or email. We've gotten cars broken into because they took months to replace security gate, ac has been down for going on 3 months in the summer because they need approval from cheap owners for every single little thing and that always seems to take weeks. You can hear every little noise if you live on 1st or second floor from the people above you. And no, there's no Starbucks cafe like they promote. Management company has 5 different people you need to talk to when you have an issue and they don't seem to communicate to each other. There's a guest parking, there's been a crashed car parked there for 3 months and they still haven't towed it because the owner of the car lives here. My sister and I toured this beautiful Spanish style apartment complex today. It is definitely not your typical "apartments". It had an amazing resort vibe as soon as you walk in. The tour starts in the clubroom which has a Starbucks bar! The leasing agents said it's complimentary for the residents so I was already in love. When we walk out into the community, the first thing that makes your eyes pop out is the Spanish tile flooring throughout the exterior hallways. Immediately thought of Lilly Ghalichi's pic on IG sitting in her leopard print on some Spanish tile steps. This complex is totally Instagramable. The model units are just as gorgeous inside with open floor plans. Stainless steel fridge, gas stove, dishwasher and microwave. But the best part was it comes with a washer and dryer inside the unit. Not to mention the fact that everything is brand new! Can't go wrong with a brand new building! read more

I don't move around too often, but after searching the area I came across this place. Many other places I looked at came across as mediocre or lacking in amenities, or any sort of secure feeling. Although this building had almost everything I wanted... a Jacuzzi would have been an extra plus but I guess I'll manage with a pool and fireplace, I'll be ok. I took the tour which was super easy to set up and communicate with management. Application process was thorough but easy and quick, Yes I'm paying a little more, but whats a few hundred more out of your life to be able to live around other like minded business professional in a safe and friendly environment as opposed to well, well not that. Not to mention the building itself is absolutely beautifully designed and well put together. I don't worry about my car because its in a gated lot covered with cameras, as well as everywhere else in the building. Yes I do take advantage of free coffee in the morning, close to the gym and uptown which I frequent. Orlando is always quick to respond and notify me of changes,as do I notify him when I have concerns and it is always handled promptly. Yes I do enjoy this building very much and do recommend it to other young professionals. read more
