For the first time in a long time I can honestly say that I enjoyed the food that I had delivered to me! There wasn't anything that turned me off! It was all fresh and tasty! The Sweet potato fries were very limp from being in the styrofoam, but I put them in my small oven and they crisped right up, and were the best I ever had! The hummus was exactly like I have always made it and was so tasty! Two weeks ago I ordered it else-where, and it had nothing but the cece beans, and wad tasteless, so I threw it out! The only thing that I would change is that I would never order a wrap again because their too messy. It tasted very good but too messy for me to eat, but that was my fault! it was the chicken codon blue wrap! the Berry smoothy was a delight and a surprise! We've ordered here 3 or 4 times on Foodler over the past few months. They somehow manage to be cheap, fast, AND delicious. The California Pizza was a huge hit with my house, $11 for a Large with eggplant, sun-dried tomatoes, broccoli and artichoke hearts. It's addicting.. the combination is perfect. The sandwiches are pretty good too for $6-$8 you get a well-topped, decent sized portion with fries, and you can customize it like crazy. So I just wanted soup, but then I thought I'd still be hungry so I added a side of macaroni & cheese. Chicken rice soup...it was fine, though it could have been canned or home made - I couldn't tell...so good enough, right? On to the mac & cheese. SERIOUSLY Catalina's?? The macaroni was clearly Kraft (those straight noodles, you know the ones) or a generic imitation. Was it like 5 dollars that I paid for a portion from a box that cost $1.50 at the most?I (And that's if it was Kraft...it tasted generic, so there's some serious profit margin on the mac & cheese) I was worried as heck that it would be the "Easy Mac" microwaveable stuff, but I'm pretty sure it was not. I can't even eat that stuff once I smell it. You get the 2nd star for not sending me the nasty stuff, but I'm seriously disappointed that any restaurant would send out boxed mac & cheese to someone who didn't order off a children's menu. You're a restaurant...MAKE baked mac & cheese if you're going to sell it. I have access to grocery stores too, I'll buy boxed if that's what I'm after. Sheesh. read more

Catalina's is the best place in Malden. I usually have my food delivered down the street to my house, but I have gone in once or twice. It has tables and window seating, with no frills. The food is delicious, and being a pizza/sub place it has a lot of variety. Get Catalina's, and you won't be disappointed. read more

This place is cheap and has very fast delivery which is nice. But the food isn't anything special. I got the French country salad and they didn't put the beats on it. Also it was suppose to have grilled asparagus and it was basically raw. My boyfriend got the calzone with pineapple and ham and it was decent. Two strikes and I'm not sure about giving them a third shot. Last week (first strike) I got a different burger and different fries from what I orders. The bun for the burger was good, but the burger itself tasted micro waved. And plain fries instead of the Cajun one's I ordered. Blah! Today we ordered from there again. This time I decided to try the honey beef kabob dinner, a little bit much for lunch, but it sounded so good. I ordered them medium with salad and sweet potato fries. Lunch arrived, the salad looked great, the fries were what i ordered, but the beef was not right. No, it was not cooked incorrectly, it just wasn't beef. They sent chicken kabob (which sells for $4 less than what they charged me for the beef). So not only did they not send me what I ordered, they over charged me. So, for me, they have yet to deliver what I order and they over charge me for what they do deliver. read more

Last night I ordered a Veggie lovers pizza with chicken (weird, I know, but I like veggies and chicken, what can I say). I ordered via grub hub, which was awesome because they have buttons to choose what percent to tip (and even counts it out for you) the driver, which I did. I got a large pizza and it was the best thing I've had in awhile. All of the ingredients were fresh, I could tell especially with the mushrooms, huge chunks of grilled chicken and broccoli. they didn't skimp on any ingredients, the cheese was soo good and it was hot when it was delivered. Our delivery items arrived hot and fresh. We ordered a large cheese pizza 1/2 pepperoni and a large mozzarella sticks. First of all the prices were great, but I was even more impressed with the pizza crust. It wasn't soggy at all and still had a nice crispy crust underneath the generous amount of cheese that was on our pizza. The cheese on the pizza and the mozzarella sticks had that wonderful stringy pull to it that let's you know it just came out of oven/fryer. Will order different items in the future, but for the large pizza and mozz sticks combined with fast quality delivery....5 stars! read more

A friend told me about the place so I've decided to try their pizza. I can tell you that buffalo chicken is so far my favorite. Since I've first tried it, Catalina's pizza has become my no 1 choice for delivery. You can really taste the natural ingredients they use, fresh vegetables, no FROZEN food. Called in an order for delivery and was told 40 minutes. After an hour and 10 minutes of waiting I called to see where it was and they told me it was on the way. After an additional 20 minutes of waiting I called again and they said there had been a mistake and it was never made even after they told me it was on the way.
