    Lemon cello spritz so amazing

It was my first time visiting Catelli's, but my friends are regulars and knew exactly what to order. We decided to share several dishes family-style, which was the perfect way to sample a variety of menu items. Every single dish was a 10+ in my book! The food was absolutely delicious, and I can see why my friends keep coming back. The service was impeccable from start to finish. The restaurant was easy to find, and I loved the charming décor it felt like a genuine Italian restaurant with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. One of my favorite surprises was the Limoncello Spritz. After a day of wine tasting, it was the perfect light and refreshing drink to end the day. Great food, outstanding service, and a wonderful dining experience. I'll definitely be back!

Our group of 6 loved the food. The minestrone soup was a great start. Then the meatball sliders were a hit and so was the prosciutto and Burrata. The Richard's meat sauce comes with spaghetti or Penne and we all chose Penne. The spaghetti and clams were a hit too!

Catellis is an old school Italian red sauce that has been a local favorite for a long time. Getting a last minute reso is tough, so we stopped in at about 4:30 and we're seated immediately. Food is excellent and for anyone gluten free a good choice. We started with gluten free garlic bread and I have to say it was really great. You had no idea it was gluten free. It was quite good. Next up was the Catelli's salad. It was good, but next time I'm going to try the Caesar salad. Main courses were really in outstanding. The gf pasta with mushrooms, cream and chicken was mind blowing. Might be one of the best gf dishes I've ever had. The lasagna was really outstanding too. This is a classic red sauce Italian that should be on your list. Only about ten minutes north of Healdsburg, it's worth the drive.

We were recommended this spot from the place we were staying at in the area. When we arrived it was busy because there was a lot of Prom Students out for dinner, the hostess was very kind and apologetic that as walk ins we were unable to be be seated but she did let us know that it was first come first serve at the bar. My party sat down at the bar and it did appear the majority of the people at the bar were also eating. The Bartender and At this point our server also was incredibly. She was so busy every single one of the bar seats was taken, and she did a fantastic job balancing all of it. Overall the food was an exceptional experience. For starters we got the truffle fries, and A Minestrone soup. The truffle fries were delicious, and had a bit if a kick to them so if you dont like spicy keep that in mind. The Soup was delicious and a great size for the small soup portion. I ordered the Lasagna with meat sauce and its light delicate layers were delicious, and perfectly balanced with the cheese. The server was helpful and informative and told my friend about the Mushroom cream sauce for her ravioli that if you love mushrooms you'll love it but if you don't then steer away. And we LOVE mushrooms and the ravioli paired perfectly with the heavy mushroom cream sauce. We also got the Steak and ordered it medium rare, when it came to us and it was closer to blue/rare the server/bartender didn't hesitate to apologize and in a flash take it back. The cooks remade it and it was perfectly medium rare with that nice browning on the outside and a small bit it pink in the center. We were very satisfied and it was such a lovely touch the manager did come out before the end of our meal to ensure we were satisfied and apologized for the discrepancy in the meal. The fact it was busy every single table full and the bar also being full and the manager still coming to ensure our satisfaction was what true hospitality is all about!! 100000% recommendations for this place and will be coming back!

A consistently good experience at Catelli's. Serving Italian American comfort food in a warm inviting atmosphere. I'd get here more often if it was closer to me. Lunch was terrific. I love that they offer specials in addition to their menu. We ordered a couple starters - meatball sliders & truffle fries (both yum). I ordered the lasagna- absolutely delicious. I'm picky with my lasagna, it's something I like to make at home. This will not disappoint, the sauce is deeply rich with 10 paper thin layers of pasta with ricotta and goat cheese in between. We also ordered the halibut with pesto risotto the fish was flaky with a beautiful crust and the risotto was very flavorful, good pairing. The cocktails are also well made and dressed up cutely. I had the Venetian Spritz. The service is friendly and attentive. They also have patio seating available in warmer weather. A must try.

When we were in Healdsburg recently, we added Catelli's on our list of restaurants we HAD to dine at due to the amazing reviews and positive feedback from our resort concierge. We asked our resort concierge to make reservations for us a few weeks in advance of our stay and we had no issues getting our reservation for a prime time weekend dinner hour time. Geyserville is a really small town with just a few businesses and there is plenty of parking on the street and in small city lots, you really won't have an issue finding parking here. We arrived about 5-10 minutes before our reservation time and were seated immediately and were warmly greeted by everyone we interacted with and staff also wished me and my husband a happy wedding anniversary as well. The gesture and recognition was greatly appreciated! We ordered a bottle of wine to start (all ranging in price, none of the prices were too crazy and most of the wines were local to the area). We ordered a Caesar Salad to start ($10) and a Minestrone to start ($8) and we shared both of these. For entrees, we ordered the Chicken Parmesan ($29) and the Catelli's Homemade Meat Ravioli ($28). Everything we ordered was so tasty and fresh, and we loved everything we ordered! The service was also all so warm and welcoming and made us feel like we were dining at someone's home. We really enjoyed the entire dining experience and look forward to returning!

Always dependable food and service! I had the cheese ravioli in a mushroom cream sauce...delicious! My husband and I shared the kale salad which was huge. Service was perfect too!

Finally got to try Catellis after hearing great things about it. I made reservations to celebrate my 34th birthday with my family. We started with appetizers: burrata and prosciutto, garlic bread and beet salad which were all very delicious. I ordered the clam and spaghetti with white sauce and honestly I have had better clam and pasta. It was decent, felt more like spaghetti in soup. The 10-layer lasagna, eggplant lasagna and chicken Parmesan were all a hit. Overall, food was good and the ambience was nice. I would come back again to try and eat in the back patio which looked so cute!

    10 Layer Lasagne

We were greeted and sat at a window table for two which was a welcomed first visit seating. Our server, Faith, was both attentive and discerning. The Beef Carpaccio was a tad bit salty but the steak was sliced very thinly and the arugula and Parmesano Reggiano were paired very well in proportion. We shared the Richard's Meat Sauce Penne Pasta and the 10 Layer Lasagne. Both were Italian comfort food personified. I was concerned that the lasagne would be overpowered by the goat cheese, but Faith assured me that it lent a creaminess without the funk. She was spot on. The dishes were served piping hot. The place filled up fast. This fine restaurant will def be in our rotation when we visit the area. Domenica Catelli was at the front desk when we checked in. That's the sign of a well-run restaurant.

Signage on the outside, on the off chance you miss it.

Craving Italian? Make your way here, yes it's out of the way, all good things are, so get here! We had a girls night out, there was live music outside; drinks all around & a starter with the beef carpaccio. Onto the mains: an order of the spaghetti special, the chicken piccata & the ravioli in meat sauce - all screaming goodness. Lastly dessert - tiramisu, which literally disappeared, I know I had a taste, well I think I had a bite. Service - our server was running, took her a bit to get to us, but once Tiffany got going, she was on point. We ended up closing out the place, we were never rushed out. We'll be back & you all need to find this place.

Hot summer day. Perfect lunch date on our way back home

We wanted a kid friendly place where we can find good pasta! While reserving the table for lunch I asked for a seat in the patio and even though it was particularly hot with those big umbrellas and trees around it didn't feel that hot. The indoor seating is also equally unique. We ended up ordering beet salad and pasta with dc sauce for us and the kiddo. We liked both. Specially the portion sizes are big. Tip- they give free ice cream if the kid can finish their dish Unfortunately we had to take a to go but it was still yummy the next day. It definitely high up in our list when we visit the wine county next time.

One of the best Italian restaurants. Love coming here for the Micheal's pasta. The apps are good but the pastas here are delicious. It's usually street parking. I've never walked in before and always made a reservation.

Amazing. Every aspect of it, just amazing. From the outside this place looks very unassuming, step in and its well decorated with bar and reception area right up front. The brick exterior walls and the wood bar and flooring make for a classic rustic feel and looks right at home in North Wine Country. The other dining areas are equally classy but it's not until you go outside that you get the full picture. It opens up to a BEAUTIFUL outdoor garden with a marble & tiled bar, tiled seating area all framed by greenery. Once you sit down and take it all in with your favorite drink you are treated to a delicious Italian cuisine. I went with a large lunch party and was treated with a sausage penne in a tomato cream sauce. It wasn't too creamy and the sausage had a real nice spice to it, it was wonderfully executed. We also had a cheese lasagna which was unique compared to the lasagna's that I've had and made in the past but was still delicious. One thing that was interesting is that the party I was with has several food restrictions but that didn't stop the kitchen from bringing out Gluten Free garlic bread, Vegan and vegetarian pasta dishes for our food-sensitive friends. Lastly, and I cant state this enough, the service was EXCELLENT. Our server was patient with our large group of particular eaters, took pictures of all of us, kept the drinks rolling out and had plenty of support to keep us all fed and happy. I live 90 minutes away and I would have NO PROBLEM coming back and I will definitely recommend Catelli's to friends and family.

Is it better to go at dinner or lunch. Is the menu way different?

I'd say maybe smaller portions at lunch? Honestly don't recall if there was a lunch verses dinner menu. Preference is for either an early dinner or later, but not during the 6:00pm dinner rush.

We got there at 11:30 on a Saturday and it was life-changing. We got the Diavola pizza and a kids pepperoni pizza which in itself could've been an adult pizza and I honestly think this is the best pizza I've had. It was so good that we had to come back the next day for lunch. We showed up at 11:30 again and got the chopped salad and the bee sting pizza. My partner and I looked at each other the entire time we were eating and kept quietly mouthing "Oh my God this is so good" as we ate in silent awe. There was a corn and peach salad on the menu but it was sold out which actually broke my heart but I think this place is one of the few places I would make the 2 hour drive out for... so worth it

We were really excited to go here after reading some of the reviews. Alas, it did NOT remotely live…read moreup to those reviews. We had two things: Prosciutto & Fungi Pizza and Diavola Fish & Chips. Overall, the service was decent. However, the food let us down pretty drastically. First off, the pizza. While the toppings were okay, the prosciutto had _very_ little taste, and the crust was quite tough. The gluten seemed overworked or something. We do make our own pizza dough at home, and while learning, I've run into this before. For the price they're charging, this is really unacceptable. Second, the Fish & Chips. It was advertised as battered cod with shrimp and fried oysters, along with some tempura onion rings. I hadn't had fried oysters in quite a while, so this one caught my attention on the menu. When I got it, I literally thought they'd forgotten to put the fish on it. All of the meats were scattered amongst the homemade-looking fries. Technically, the fries were tasty, if a little cold. There were two tiny pieces of fish, maybe 2.5" long, two shrimp, two fried oysters, and three incredibly thin onion rings. The batter was oily and inconsistent. One piece of fish had batter on it that wasn't even cooked. This is typically caused by oil that isn't at temperature or by overcrowding the pot, which lowers the oil temperature. None of the batter was crunchy, except one of the oysters, which was cooked way more than the rest. The onion rings were floppy, soggy, and, as mentioned, extremely thin. And the batter itself was completely under-seasoned. It really had very little taste at all. Given the small amounts of the ingredients other than fries, calling this meager would be an understatement. The ambiance was groovy enough, though a little loud. You could feel a bit of the building's history, which was cool.

Perfect timing for happy hour which starts at 3pm though the menu only had deals for drinks. Vibes: Loved the ambiance inside and outside the patio. I can see this place, especially the bar inside, being very lively at night. Service: Wonderful service from our server. Since it was our first time, we asked for his opinion whether or not we ordered too much or too little. Each dish came out almost exactly as we finished the previous dish. Food: -Crudo (MP): 5 pieces topped with pepper and onion -Grilled Vietnamese Steak ($19): about 5 pieces on a skewers. Meat was tender and went perfectly with the sauce. The "not so sticky rice" didn't have much flavor by itself. Had to eat it with the sauce and meat. -Mushroom eggroll ($12): 3 pieces of egg rolls. Loved the duck sauce and truffle hot mustard sauce -Kimchi Noodles ($20) + add chicken ($8): the chicken served was the Pollo A La Brasa which tasted well with the dish. We ordered a mocktail and cocktail and both were beautiful and refreshing! Our entrees were great tastes of Asian fusion cuisine - our favorites being the Thai meatballs on papaya salad and the Korean mini rib lets. They were both flavor bombs! Definitely a fun place to come back to in future!

Sheri, our server, was incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming throughout our entire meal. We came with our 4-year-old son and had asked for the chicken parmesan with the sauce on the side. The chef, Shari, actually came out to our table and offered to split the order so part could be prepared exactly how we wanted it. He went above and beyond and even came back out later to make sure everything was perfect for us. That kind of personal attention really stood out. The gnocchi was AMAZING. The texture was perfect, and the sauce was so flavorful -- definitely one of the highlights of our meal. They also have a fantastic wine selection. Their sommelier came over to help us choose and pair our wines, taking the time to share his knowledge and recommendations with us. It made the experience even more special. And, of course, we had to finish with a cappuccino, which did not disappoint! Wonderful food, excellent wine, genuinely thoughtful service, and such a welcoming experience for our family. Everything was 10/10. We will absolutely be back!

From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted by the owner, who acknowledged my birthday and made us feel so welcome. We were promptly seated at a lovely table, and it was clear that the entire staff was experienced, professional, and attentive. Our server was wonderful. The menu was extensive, and everything we ordered was delicious and plentiful. I had the veal parmigiana with spaghetti, while my husband ordered the veal piccata. We also shared a generous Caesar salad and a caprese appetizer that were both easily enough for two. The service was excellent from start to finish. And to make my birthday even more special, I was surprised with a large complimentary slice of tiramisu! At the end of our meal, the other owner came over to chat with us, adding another personal touch to an already wonderful evening. I truly could not have asked for a better experience for my 65th birthday dinner. If you're visiting Healdsburg and looking for a delicious Italian meal with warm, personal service, I highly recommend Baci Cafe!

We were only able to get a 5:15 pm reservation on a Saturday night, which was somewhat unusual because the outdoor patio and interior were only about half full. Maybe they allow for walk-ins so I suggest that if you want a later reservation like 7 pm that you try a walk-in instead. It was my husband's 67th birthday, which I indicated on the reservation, and they had a customized menu for him, birthday card, and welcome cocktail of champagne. The service was prompt and very friendly and we started with PEI mussels, served with Costeaux Sourdough Baguette (slightly charred), Poblano Peppers, Roasted Leeks, Heirloom Tomato Broth and Petite Fenne, which was hearty and really delicious ($24). The manager also provided complimentary homemade bread with a black sea salt that you could sprinkle on top, We brought a nice bottle of Robert Young cab and the corkage was $25, which is very reasonable. Husband got the prime Kobe New York steak loin ($63) and was disappointed that it was only half of a normal New York. It came with Brentwood Yellow Corn, Potato Croquette, Perigord Truffle Butter, Bone Marrow and Sauce Bordelaise. He ordered it rare and it was served appropriately. I ordered the bone in Duroc pork loin ($42) served with Yellow Wax Beans, Shishito, Bacon Jam, Parmesan Frico and Jimmy Nardelo Peperonata, which was very tasty. I should have indicated medium rare as it was a little more overcooked than I would like. The accompanying polenta cake and peppers were a delicious compliment. We decided not to have dessert, but they brought us a Snickers dessert for his birthday on the house. It came with Cocoa Tuille, Peanut Powder, Sea Salt and Burnt Caramel and was super yummy. I would definitely go back, highly recommend. The clientele in the restaurant were not super snobby and seemed like locals and regular people out for a good meal.

We were greeted with glasses of champagne, a special menu with our anniversary mentioned on the top, and an anniversary card. All of that was so special and unique which made us feel so welcome! We chose to do the "trust me" chef's dinner. It was a surprise for every dish. This was my first time trying bone marrow and now I am a huge fan. I will say the snickers style dessert was overwhelmingly sweet and I just couldn't finish it. My one problem with how they list it on the menu is "$20 per course". I didn't like thinking about how a somewhat skimpy salad equals out to $20. I think it sounds a bit better to say it's a $100 experience, which sounds like a better way to explain it. This was a fun experience and I enjoyed most of the items but I would not do this again. I feel some of the courses were a little lack luster and I would rather spend a bit more to do a different experience somewhere else.

The girls that helped us out were both friendly but we ended up asking for the Happy Hour menu 3 times before we actually got one. We decided to split the Happy Hour Pepperoni pizza bites and Bucatini Amatriciana. The pizza was a good portion, especially for the $8 price tag but the portion size on the pasta was a little small. The pizza and past were both very good but the pork on the pasta was mostly just big chunks of fat. I thought they were pieces of artichoke hearts at first. The best thing about our experience was Jesus. I believe he is the bar manager here. He happened to be standing off to the side of the bar when he heard me ask the bartender a question about the Carajillo Old Fashioned. I like coffee drinks, even though I don't drink coffee, but I find the Carajillo a bit one note. He explained about the layer of flavors in the drink and it convinced me to give it a try. It was indeed good. Then I noticed a bottle of Suze amaro at the end of the bar and I mentioned how I had heard about this Amaro and always wanted to try it. I asked Jesus to come up with a drink using Suze and he ended up making a kind of Suze French 75 that was very interesting. Overall great experience but Jesus was what made it really special.

The hostess said we could pick our table and she would follow us with menus, which she did. Water and glasses were delivered, I think by the hostess immediately. Then we waited.... For at least 10 minutes. Then another two people were seated next to us. They were given water and menus and we all waited for a server to come by to ask for our drink order at least and maybe appetizers. After another 10 minutes I got up to ask the nearest employee if there was a waiter assigned to our table. That person happened to be one of the bartenders who was standing near the host table. He said he would take our order. He did not seem happy he would need to do that as it was not his area, but he did. The waiter is the only reason this review gets two stars instead of one star. I would give zero if I could, but the waiter did his best and ended up taking over that whole inside section of the restaurant. By the end of the meal he mentioned a worker had called in sick, which I think must be why nobody had our section? I have to say that the entire meal we watched a few other employees just standing around doing nothing, maybe shuffling silverware around or wiping counters down. Half the time they were just talking between themselves as we look around trying to make eye contact to get a workers attention that we need something. This was especially obvious to us during the twenty minutes we waited for somebody to come take our drink order. These employees were no more than 15 feet from us. So after the waiter took our drink order, he took the drink order for the two people who were seated next to us that had arrived 10 minutes after us. They received their drinks first. Ours' came shortly after. They were just fair. I usually order two drinks, but my margarita was just not even good enough for me to finish so I only ordered one. We ordered a Caesar salad which was fine. And a lasagna. My wife and I were sharing. The lasagna was luke warm with a cold spot in the middle. So it clearly wasn't freshly baked, rather it had been heated up in a microwave, just not enough. It tasted fine, but was nothing to write home about. The restaurant seems very poorly managed with mostly untrained staff. The restaurant won't last long if this is normal. We won't be back. My suggestion would be hire a new manger, completely revamp and retrain all staff with a focus on consistent customer service and food quality. General rules of thumb for great restaurants- 1. Waiter stops by to greet the customer and take a drink order about a minute after being seated and drinks come out within 5 minutes. This was not done. 2. Waiter stops by every 5-7 minimum to check if you need anything like drinks or more food. 3. At Italian restaurant, as food is served ask the customer if they would like fresh ground pepper, grated Parmesan or Romano cheese, or maybe red pepper flakes. 4. After food is placed, the waiter checks in after 2 minutes to ask how everything tastes. If there are complaints the waiter should be eager to address them. After the shift, whatever the problem is should be addressed with the kitchen staff and manager and a plan for how to improve so that this doesn't happen again should be put in place. Do these things and a restaurant is well on its way to being full and profitable.
