I tried the croissant pastry which was rolled in cinnamon sugar with a vanilla glaze and it was a bit too dry for my liking. The service is still impeccable and the restaurant is still busy with many people. We will definitely be back because there are so many pastries to try.

We recently hosted a large gathering of over 100 guests at our home, and Scotty's Catering truly helped make it such a special and memorable evening for us. From the moment the food arrived, everything felt thoughtfully prepared. The food itself was delicious and enjoyed by guests throughout the night, but what really stood out was the presentation. The spread was absolutely beautiful--elegant, abundant, and arranged in a way that made the entire event feel elevated and welcoming. The staff were just wonderful. They were kind, upbeat, and so easy to have around during a busy evening. They quietly kept things running smoothly in the background, consistently clearing plates and drinks as guests moved around, which made a huge difference in keeping the space comfortable and helped tremendously with cleanup afterward. It's not easy hosting that many people at home, but Scotty's made everything feel effortless. We're so grateful for their help and look forward to working with them again. read more

I recently had a lovely visit at Scotty's, and I must say, the experience was fantastic. The service at this place is top-notch. Every single person we interacted with was incredibly friendly and eager to serve. It's hands down the best customer service I've encountered at any restaurant. The food was just as impressive. I ordered the Reuben with pastrami, and it was absolutely delicious. The sandwich was juicy and perfectly portioned, making each bite a delight. The flavors were spot on, and the quality of the ingredients really shone through. And let me tell you about the desserts--they are amazing! I seriously cannot say enough good things about this place. My partner and I came in for our anniversary. We are from Cleveland. We did some research and found this quaint little cafe. Literally the BEST French toast I have ever had in my life. And don't even get me started on the home fries!!! From the moment we walked through the door, every single employee (and I mean EVERY single one!!!) greeted us and was so incredibly nice. Multiple people came to check on us and how our meals were. Gina (one of the owners) is the SWEETEST lady ever. Seriously. Oh my gosh! Whenever we come to Columbus, we will come here every single time. Even the owner came out to greet us! I had roast beef melt, Mac and cheese macaroni salad! Everything was made in house, big portions, quality ingredients. Macaroni salad was too dry, not enough flavor, not a fan. We are in the Eastmoor Area, so this was close. Stav's is a traditional dinner with some two-tops along the wall and the counter. There were two open tables, and we were seated right away. Our server was right there, asking about coffee or drinks and offering a menu. Coffee was served in a good-sized mug. I had a western omelet with hash browns, rye toast, and coffee. My wife had a mushroom omelet. Our food was out very quickly. Our meal was good but not extraordinary. If you are looking for a breakfast or lunch place on the Eastside, give these folks a try.
