Lost two stars for service and , and this only a personal preference, tenders for their sandwiches. I prefer a full chicken breast. More juicy chicken/protein as opposed to batter. The tenders are juicy and the batter is good, it's simply a ratio thing. Personal preference Service is always friendly but slow. It's not "fast" food but is good food. Great sauce. read more

The sweet potatoe fries were average, I would try regular fries next time. I got the pickle flavor tender because I love pickle flavor.... But damn..... "Accused us in front of the whole restaurant. Never again." I really wanted to love this place. First visit, big group -- we brought 10 kids and were genuinely excited to try Urban Bird. We placed a large order, the server brought food to our table, and because it's a chicken-focused menu and we all ordered similar things, nothing looked immediately off. If you've ever managed 10 kids all reaching for food at once, you understand -- you're not exactly doing an itemized audit in that moment. Once we realized something was missing, a staff member came over. I thought she was there to help us sort it out. I was wrong. She accused us -- out loud, in front of other customers -- of taking another table's order. She stood there with our receipt interrogating us like we were suspects, not paying customers. We tried to explain calmly that their server brought the food to our table -- an honest mix-up that happens. She wasn't interested in that explanation. No pause. No apology. Just blame, embarrassment, and zero accountability. The way she spoke to us was degrading. We had children sitting right there watching this. And the food itself? Every single item was too spicy for the kids -- not one child could eat their meal. When we mentioned it, no one cared. No offer to help, no acknowledgment, nothing. This was our first and last visit. Urban Bird can advertise "welcoming atmosphere" all they want -- what we experienced was the opposite. Wanted some hot chicken, decided to check this place out. I got the urban fries (full order) and it was tasty! Probably the best meal out of the group. I was skeptical about their sauce at first but when it came on top of the fries I didn't mind it at all. I also got the "extra hot" spice level for my tenders and it wasn't that hot. I will probably be back just because they're open super late, especially on weekends (3am!) Overall, it's not a bad spot but nothing stood out. Everything was pretty fresh, but I wasn't amazed. Came to town for a work event and was having the hardest time finding things that were open at 10pm but then we saw this place was open until 3am so we decided to give it a shot and it did not disappoint. The space was clean and welcoming and the attendant at the cash register was nice and helped us better understand our options - we ended up splitting a tenders Sando meal and it was perfect! The sandwich itself was HUGE and had really good flavor (the pickles and slaw were so yummy!). The fries were nicely seasoned and the only complaint I have is the lemonade was too sweet for my taste but we ended up mixing it with some tea and voila! Would def come back again. read more

Large portions and great service! We came in late right before closing in the food was still amazing

Y'all hyped this place up! I ordered the chicken and waffles and it took 45 mins for them to prepare two large chicken tenders and a small waffle. My wife ordered a tender basket and hers took the same amount of time to prepare. The chicken was very bland, but it was hot. The waffle tasted like the ones you prepare at a hotel for breakfast and the it was over baked. The fires my wife had were seasoned with a spicy sugar seasoning! Needless to say i won't be returning to this place when I'm in the Arlington area. I give this place 3 starts just because the food was hot and fresh but it's 1 start for taste and flavor. read more

Staff are very slow did not start preparing my order until three minutes before they gave it to us the restaurant was not busy at all we had to go up to the counter and remind him we'd not gotten our order and there were only five or six people in the restaurant. We arrived from CA and needed a place to eat near the airport. We sort of stumbled on this place (we had intended to eat at the restaurant next door) and it was the actual best experience. I've never left a review before, but this Texas hospitality warranted a shout out. The cashier was so nice and friendly and when I asked about spice levels she went back and got a couple of samples for my husband and I to try. Her husband (who cooked our food) upgraded our order to a meal and gave us extra fries. Food came out before we were even done chatting with the cashier. I read some reviews that service was slow but that was definitely not the case for us. Food was great, but it was the service for us that made the difference! Literally walked up to the store at 1:32am since there's a sign that says "OPEN" and it also says their hours outside are "10:30am-3am" on Fridays and Saturdays. They clearly see that I'm trying to open the door once and it was locked. read more
