Everyone was courteous and attentive. They asked all the right questions to make sure I wanted everything included in my bowl or on the side. I chose the new strawberry sesame bowl and it was delicious. I would recommend and would also order it again.

The food is always good and tasty! But you would want to take and go. I don't mind the noise but I prefer a clean and pleasant aesthetically place to dine. They need staff to clean the tables periodically and need to hire a handy man to cover large chip painted areas in seating area and floor.

I'm very pleased with our impromptu visit this evening. This despite walking into the location and immediately feeling the heat. I believe this was due to the extreme heat outside and the kitchen of course. The speed of the line was good considering the amount of patrons. I was in conversation with the customer behind me so I didn't pay attention when my husband ordered his meal. I placed my order taking advantage of the various fresh toppings available. The serving sizes are pretty generous. Ok so now for payment. I'm still partly ordering and partly in conversation with nice customer behind me. My husband pays. I grab the receipt as I normally do. It was then I notice his order. He does NOT do spicy. He had ordered the Harissa Avocado bowl with the sauce on the side. Great! But the receipt stated Harissa Honey Chicken. He didn't realize the chicken was Harissa. This was not good. I explained everything to the manager, Todd W. He first allowed my husband to taste some of the chicken and yes, too spicy! Right away he offered to redo the bowl. We were not charged. We are very thankful for that because otherwise dinner would have ruined. Thank you Cava! Thank you Todd! Until next time.

CAVA is always so tasty and filling... it's about 2 times the amount you'd get from Chipotle. Their steak and lemon tahini are the way to go. This location is clean, service was quick, and everyone was friendly.

Met up with a friend at this location for lunch. Normal Cava style establishment. In the university area. There are lots of parking spaces with plenty of seating inside and outside. The food is great and awesome. No complaints from this location at all.

I mean, you "cava" be kidding me!! - See what I did there?!? This gives me Mediterranean chipotle vibes! The set up is reminiscent of chipotle, you fall in line once you walk in and when you get to the counter you let them know what you want, your food is passed down to the cashier where you pay. I ordered two bowls; Balsamic Date Chicken - I ordered it as is with no additions or substitutions (grilled chicken, eggplant dip, red pepper hummus, corn, brown rice, spinach and balsamic date vinaigrette). This bowl was delicious, sweet and savory with a burst of flavor in every bite! - 10/10 Harissa Avocado - Ordered with no additions or substitutions (Harissa honey chicken +hot harissa vinaigrette, crazy feta, hummus, corn, Avocado, rice, super greens) This bowl was yummy as well but a bit too spicy for my liking, it was the one that came up as a favorite in the reviews, but again to spicy for me! - 7/10 The oatmeal cookie with dark chocolate and sea salt - 10/10 Also try their fountain drinks, unique flavors! I'm a fan of CAVA!!

Dear indecisive customer, When choosing between Chipotle, Qdoba or Cava. Cava is always my top pick. My favorite portion is the Harissa Honey Chicken. Which is, a sweet and spicy flavor that my taste buds are absolutely in love with! Not only is the food delicious & healthy. Their drinks are just as refreshing, healthy, and satisfying!! My taste buds have decided the crazy feta spread is top tier as well!! **Try the Pita Chips too! They are to kill for! (Noo, not literally! You crazy! hehe,')**

We eat at Cava about once a month and LOVE IT! We Have been to University one, Birkdale, and South end stores! And also went to a few out of town when traveling. University had been a let down each time we go as this one is the closest to our home. Staff is not friendly and their Falafel is never fresh! As my husband and I are creatures of habit, we get the same thing EVERY TIME! Grains n Greens Super Greens Half the amount of each lentils/brown rice and have been doing it this was since the Birkdale location opened several years ago. The guys that opened that location really sold that place and did such a GREAT JOB getting that one started!!!! Well we were told for the first time EVER we couldn't do half and half by an employee and the manager Heather also backed her up and said we couldn't do it! Huge let down as I understand I couldn't have a full portion of 3 things but just wanted a little rice little lentils. They also make it very quickly and sloppily even though they weren't busy. Felt very rushed and as we we're annoying them by knowing exactly what we wanted as we make it the same EVERY-TIME! Might need a little TLC at this location probably will drive the extra time to get better quality food and nicer service! As $35 for 2 bowls should be up to par to the other locations.

I was in the University area around lunchtime, so I decided to stop at Cava for a lunch bowl. It wasn't crowded when I arrived so that was a plus, but since it was a nice day the outside seating area was crowded. Cava has a nice selection of meats, vegetables sauces, and cheeses to create a very tasty bowl. The vegetables are fresh and chicken was seasoned very well. The only downside to this restaurant was the inside dining area, which needed some TLC; there was food on the floor, napkins and dirty utensils on the floor as well and a sauce spill that was very displeasing to patrons dining inside. There was enough staff working to have someone come and maintain the dining area so it wasn't an eyesore for those dining in. One worker did come out to refill the messy utensil area, however she walked right past the spill on the floor and put a few more utensils in the holders, without wiping the mess around the utensil counter or the floor. Cava has really good food and I would hate to see them go under because of the untidiness of the dining area or the lack of care from the workers.

    Ask the Community - CAVA

    Is this halal?

I Googled it. It says the pita and meat in the lamb are but the spices used in the lamb are not certified. It goes on to say that none of the ingredients violates halal requirements. Hope this helps.

I have always taken a bowl. Do they offer any pita wraps?

Yes, however, they're not gluten free.

Not only is the food delicious, but it's a healthy option versus a lot of what is out there. Sometimes you just want something that feels good and tastes good. I've seen several one star reviews on here mentioning wishing they had hot food or disliking sushi. To them, I ask, why are you eating at a poke place? If you don't like the entire menu/concept of a restaurant, don't leave a one star review to bring their average down when if just because of your taste in food. By the way, the KF Beef Bowl is a hot dish and they offer miso soup as a side. My mom and I came here for my birthday lunch and both got a build your own bowl. My mom has a lot of food intolerances and was able to safely eat here and enjoy her meal. We both got the passion fruit tea, and it has real passion fruit in it. Everything was delicious, and furthermore, everything is consistent. I have never had a bad dish from this place. The ambiance is chill and calm, which I appreciate. The service is kind and helpful. If you're not a sushi hater, I recommend trying this place. You won't regret it!

It's seat-yourself, so we had to pull a couple tables together to fit everyone. One thing to note: it was very warm inside, so I'd recommend sitting toward the back where it's more comfortable. My boys really enjoy this place, so I wanted to like it more, but the food was just okay and a bit pricey for what you get. Most items run about $14.99-$21.99, even appetizers are at entrée prices. I ordered the Carne Asada Fries appetizer ($15.99) after hearing they were "fire." The steak had good flavor, but the portion was light--fine for sharing, but not very filling. One entree, Big Dipper ($15.49), a roast beef seemed overcooked and there wasn't much meat on a large bun. Two people from the table ordered pizza. Neither ate more than 2 pieces. On the positive side, the beer selection is excellent, with plenty of options on tap and in bottles and cans--from Guinness to local IPAs. The atmosphere is also unique: plates cover the walls and ceiling from guests who've completed their beer challenge, which makes for a fun, quirky vibe you really have to see in person. Dart boards for those who want to be a bit more active. Overall, it's a great spot for beer and atmosphere, but the food and pricing didn't quite match the experience for me.
