I have been ordering from Cava almost on daily basis for past one year. Sometimes this location, sometimes another location. Today I had the worst experience from one of their female employee.I order online most of the time for pickup. Today around 9.30 pm,May 1st 2026, I went online to order and it said it would be ready around 10.15pm which was late so I decided to walk in and order and a female employee asked me "what can I get for you?" I said can I get falafel crunch "everything except rice". And then she asked me do you want greens? I said "yes everything except rice". My everyday order in Cava is falafel crunch bowl "everything in it except rice ." I said "yes everything except rice." Again she is asking me if I want greens and then I asked does it comes with greens, she said no. I said okay. Now she is asking me if I want grains in it. I said "yes everything except rice." And she is telling me lentils is literally grain by rolling her eyes. She was trying to start a fight .She was trying to teach me about grains. I said okay . Learn some manners and be classy and learn to treat everyone equally before getting a job. Your attitude is not going to get you anywhere and she asked the other girl "if she knows how to make falafel crunch" and passed bowl to her. The other girl brought the card in which it's written what goes inside it and she made the order.I felt so humiliated and embarrassed. I felt like she targeted me because I was not white. I was wearing a simple hoodie and pants and sneakers. I was not wearing anything flashy or putting on makeup. She was extremely rude to me. I live around the area so I do not have to be flashy or dripped in designer just to order food. I don't have desire to impress anybody. She treated me like I don't know anything. I speak five languages girl. I have never experienced that kind of behavior and I have been there before and other people have helped me. They are so nice and kind. Every time I order from Cava whether this location or Santa Monica or Westwood. I always say "can I get falafel crunch bowl everything except rice in it". I say it and they say "okay" and get the card in which it's written what goes in it and they make it. Is it my fault that I don't know what goes in falafel crunch bowl? Do I work there? I contemplated a lot if I was rude to her, I was not. I go there almost everyday. Everyone is nice except this girl. She herself is Hispanic and I don't know what made her feel like she is better and decided to treat me like trash when she could not even do her job and lash it out on customer for not knowing what goes in "falafel crunch bowl." I am never going to that location again. I hope somebody calls out on this girl for her behavior. read more

A great mediterranean alternative to Chipotle. Definitely feels healthy and lighter than your typical assembly meal, but they can go a little too heavy on the sauces. Relative to other 'build your own' restaurants, Cava has a great price point, especially considering the rarer ingredients they use. I frequent this place when I'm in need for an inexpensive, quick and relatively healthy meal. read more

I ordered food for delivery from Cava. The food was fine but some items were missing. I called immediately and was informed I would receive a refund within 10-12 business days. Today is the 16th business day and still no refund. When I call the number on the order confirmation, I'm routed to DoorDash which says they have to escalate to Cava, blah blah blah, wait a few more days for Cava to reach out to me. Much better and cleaner Westwood. I have been to the other covers, so I thought I would try this one. The Westwood store is so dirty I can't even go to that one. The Decour was the same and it was not inviting to eat at the restaurant there are only a few tables, but I sat for a few minutes, there were plenty of vegan options but everything is very close to the non-vegan items so hopefully not too much cross-contamination. The store was much more generous than other locations and it was pretty good really difficult to get parking and had to walk a bit. The salad always looks a lot better than it actually is once you sit down and eat it but there was nothing great and nothing too bad. Definitely worth a try. read more

I've been a fan of cava for years, ever since I went to USC and they opened one up on campus. The flavors are out of this world. That seems to have changed. I ordered UberEats from this location, 2 grain bowls, with chicken, condiments and a free peta. Both of my bowls came without chicken. No protein at all actually. Since the bowls were $12.99 each, I felt a little cheated out of my food. What was delivered was just rice (barely a cup of it, because they skimp on ingredients like crazy), and pickled onions. I assume they give you less when you order online. I was able to get a full refund on the UberEats app, but couldn't help feeling disappointed. This is a perfect example of a restaurant cutting corners to maximize profits. Giving it 2 stars because the one scoop of rice was tasty. Lol. read more

It's such an easy process and the layout of the store makes it feel less rushed when you're deciding to what to put on your plate. Pick your greens or grains (or both)! Your dips, your protein, your sauce, your toppings. Aaaaand they have a cool selection of sodie pop making your healthy meal a little more guilty pleasure able. With the new parking structure it's very accessible to get to downtown culver now, or if you're a local like me, a nice walk to get to as well. Already a fan of CAVA, for its healthy, flavorful Mediterranean food, a much better option than other fast casual chains at the same price point. The servers were friendly and informative when I asked questions. The bright red sauce, the harissa, is the best, being thick and spicy. Menu is on the smaller side, but that doesn't bother me. The lamb meatballs were dry this time. In the heart of downtown Culver City, this location inside and out was bustling with young professionals and it was a great chill atmosphere. Service was quick, food was good. Price is a little high, but it's about normal for the area. The black lentils are an interesting addition. I opted for a salad and lentil bowl with the harissa honey chicken. The chicken was pretty dry, but luckily they slap on enough sauces and dips where it kind of all blends together. The harissa spice wasn't too hot, but there was a small kick to it. I loaded up on all the veg, and feel like I was mostly healthy. I'd probably go back, but lunch time is insane there. Cava is essentially a Mediterranean Chipotle, but it has better ingredients and is super delish. If you've never had Cava, try it! I usually opt for a make-your-own bowl with greens + grains. You then get to choose three dips, your protein (either full or half/half), a variety of toppings, and two dressings. You also get a free pita so don't be shy to ask because sometimes they forget.
