I apologize for the lapse in update: Two weeks ago Now, for those who frequent CAVA, we know their bowls are a pretty penny. So, when they gave me an order with burnt meatballs, I couldn't just let it pass. Food like that should have never been served, it should have been thrown away, even if that means you have to go without that ingredient for an hour or two. I submitted a complaint to their online customer service and within twenty-four hours, received a response. I made sure to submit my pictures and my receipts, they were very kind and responsive to my concerns and promptly issued a credit to my CAVA account. When I returned to CAVA, my salad was PERFECT! I understand, that sometimes there will be variations in what we order, but there will never be an excuse when it comes to poor quality foods being served to your customers. I would rather wait or make another decision, rather than be served something inedible. Thank you for making this correction, Cava!

This is the best Cava location I've been to. I placed a pickup order during peak lunch time and the food was ready timely. My favorite part was when the store forgot my pita chips and ran out to give them to me before I drove off.

Quick fast service. This was my first time here. The food was not bad. It was too spicy for me to eat and with the price I paid $15 for just myself, and didn't get to eat any, I can't see myself risking this again. I went back to the menu and I do not see a warning of how spicy this meal was going to be.

    This was almost $4!! Ridiculous

Similar to Chipotle or Sweetgreen, Cava lets you build your meal from the base up: grain bowls, salad, pita wraps, or a mix.

It's not exactly close to me, but the menu convinced us to give it a try. My husband went with the buffet and enjoyed the variety -- hummus, gyro, salad, and pita bread -- and felt the price was a great value for what was offered. I ordered the pastitsio. It wasn't quite the same as the versions I've had in Chicago, where I've enjoyed both homemade and restaurant-made versions. This one was still enjoyable, but not as flavorful as I remembered. The béchamel sauce was creamy, though I felt it needed a bit more seasoning, and the tomato sauce leaned a little too soupy for my taste. I took the moussaka to go. It had a very similar flavor profile to the pastitsio, but instead of pasta, it featured layers of eggplant and ground beef. It was comforting and hearty, though the flavors felt a bit repetitive between the two dishes. The cheese bread that came with both the pastitsio and moussaka was really good -- warm, soft, and a great pairing with the meal. Service was fantastic -- friendly and attentive -- and the space, while small, had a cozy, homey feel. Overall, I'm glad I finally got my pastitsio fix, and it was a pleasant experience.

I cannot express how disgusting this was, and how shameless of the restaurant it was to actually choose to serve me it. Do not waste money at this establishment. Inedible chicken suitable only for dogs, cold pita that's worse than the brands at walmart, barely any of the supposed additions to the hummus. I cannot emphasize how much I regret purchasing food from this garbage dump of a restaurant.

Hummus was smooth and the tabbouleh was tasty. I would have loved to have fatoush as an option. The main meal selection was a little lacking in choices, but enough to fill you up. The mixed grill meats were the best, and the chicken was flavorful and moist. A lot of rice, bones, and soupy flavors filled most of the pans with very little meat on the bones. I came after 1:30, so in fairness maybe the big pieces were taken? They did refill the baked chicken breasts and mixed grill meat while I was there, which was the highlight on the buffet. It was very quiet inside and staff quickly cleaned off the tables. For me, it wasn't worth 18.39 with the limited choices, but I do like to give smaller restaurants a try and support small businesses. I would recommend this place for people that don't like a lot of spice or prefer mild flavors.

The waitress was quick to give us a menu, but she tooK soooooooooooo long to take our drink order that we had to go to the bar and order for ourselves. Common cocktails are $14 and served in a lowball glass - not worth it as there's more ice than anything. Thank goodness we showed up within the happy hour window. While taking my order, I asked the waitress for a small change, and she said, "So, you want to start your order all over again?" Really?! Burger and fries at $14 looked appetizing but came out ice cold - hardly edible. Appetizer was about $8.95, and, yes, it was cold, too. Don't waste your time or hard earned money. In DFW, there are far too many options for great food and atmosphere. Firehouse definitely went down in flames.
