A couple of friends and I decided to try this newer Cava location for a mid-week lunch. One of us had previously enjoyed visiting another location in this growing chain of Mediterranean-style restaurants. Orders are taken at a counter and prepared as you watch. Payment is made at the end of the counter, where drinks may be ordered. There are essentially 2 categories of main course orders: stuffed pitas or salad bowls. All 3 of us choose salad bowls, which are either "curated" mixes that change monthly, or combinations you can choose. All are reasonably priced, and most include a protein. There's a wide variety of dressings. Drink selections include in-house-prepared juices, plus bottled drinks and water. Seating is available both indoors and outside. There appear to be heaters outdoors for when the weather turns chilly. We ate out there because it was way too cold inside. We all thought our meals were good, and all of us would definitely return. My only complaint is that tips can't be added on a credit card, and reaching into purses for cash would stall the line. We ended up going back inside to put money into the tip container, after enjoying our lunches. read more

Tried CAVA for the 1st time recently and Mediterranean was a refreshing and welcome change of pace. I appreciate their several plant-based food options and vegan beverages. I had the Greens Grains Bowl and it was a complete hit. It overflowed with food and flavor and I devoured every delectable morsel. Service was horrible. My teenage daughter and a friend went in there to get food. One of them had never been before and the 3 employees that were working tonight 4/23/25 were nothing but rude to them. They left there so upset. They got nothing but eye rolls, and rude comments from employees under their breath. They asked for an additional topping, and were told No only 2 allowed...they would have paid for the extra toppings but that wasn't even an option either. They did not get their drinks they paid for but we're too upset to go back and ask for them. That's unacceptable service, and makes them, and myself to never go back to that location. Do better. Cava is a solid spot if you're looking for a "healthier" fast food spot. Think of it as a chipotle but Mediterranean style. I always build my own bowl since I like customizing it to my needs. It does come with a free side of pita bread so make sure to ask if it doesn't come up. And don't sleep on the pita chips (extra charge) but they are so good. Warm, crispy, the perfect base for dipping into hummus, etc. My go to sauces are garlic and harissa. The service can be slow sometimes so if you're in a rush, I would order ahead through the all. I would also download the app so you get points each time when you order and scan your barcode to get free cava if you're a frequent visitor. read more

Ate there last night and ordered the Lentil and avocado bowl. Unfortunately wasn't aware they were out of avocados (and several other key ingredients) until after they made my order. They informed me that there was a sign on the front door and the order counter stating they were out of cados. I saw neither one - my bad, but it wouldn't hurt to verbally tell people when they r ordering. The bowl was still good with a nice array of sauces and veges - although avocados woulda made it amazing. I will eat there again when the cados r back. Staff are very young and inexperienced but do a good job. There was no tip jar and when i tried to tip, the young lady said they weren't allowed to take tips which is bullshit. Tips r the livlihood of food service people who r typically low wage earners. Another employee corrected her but there was obviously confusion. Don't hesitate to tip these kids! read more

Been coming here the past two years. Really honorable and gave a military discount every time. I always love to support honorable organizations like that, especially here in Georgetown, TX where the veterans are very present. Just yesterday I enjoyed another meal with my wife. Today I was told no to military discount!!?! What a shameful, despicable business practice. We tried Cava last night. It was delicious! I would give the food a 4 but the staff brought it down to a 2 but I couldn't do that so ya got a 3. The service is lacking in several areas. They have at least 6 or more people working which appears to be adequate, they just seem like they don't have a rhythm. They were not welcoming and they were super sloppy! There were four families in front of us. So there were approximately 12 bowls ahead of us being made. Instead of helping build those bowls the server took our order so now there are 14 bowls waiting to be finished up. So our hot meatballs are freezing by the time we sit down to eat them. My advice, order to go and pick it up! I got the chicken & rightrice (protein rice) so good! My husband had one of the wraps, probably would have been better if the meatballs wouldn't have gotten cold. And we tried all the dips with pita chips, delish! But it ended up being FIFTY dollars for two people, bc we spent $25 in pita chips and all six dips! I didn't realize they were THREE dollars for half a cup of dip‍ We also enjoyed the drink selection. Lots of bottled and fountain drink options. I feel like this is a great addition to Georgetown but y'all gotta fix the staff vibe. I'll definitely be ordering on line or not go when there is a line of people. read more

My new favourite fast food place. We got a Green and Grains bowl with olives, cukes and onion. I recommend any dressings on the side, so the bottom of the bowl doesn't get runny. Try eating it with chopsticks so you can pick the pieces out to savour the individual tastes. A melange is nice but contrasting bits are lovely. read more

Freshly made Mediterranean pitas and bowls which customers select preferred ingredients. These items can be ordered ahead in the Cava app by location or in the restaurant. Both of us tried the grain bowl with various ingredients and chicken as the protein. We did try the "Right Rice" which was tasty. I thought there was too much of the Right Rice in relationship to other ingredients, which seemed a bit scant. Maybe some training/growing pains issues. Chicken was grilled breast meat not chicken gyro meat. Sauces were very flavorful- had garlic, yogurt and dill and tzazaki which were all really good. The roasted red pepper humus and plain humus were both very tasty too. Pita strips in the grain bowl were tasty but the pita chips were very greasy and salty. Would not reorder those. Order was missing 2 pitas which wasn't noticed until we got home - didn't make a trip back. Gotta check everything with a carry out these days. The food is good but i'd say the service is lacking. Every time i order to go I end up having to wait with a group of other people. They don't acknowledge or apologize even for the inconveniences. Additionally, i know it's different if you're slammed or just moving like a sloth and it's the latter. two groups of customers just asked the man if their closed because they have been waiting for 5 minutes at the front and the workers have not even acknowledge them.
