It. is. amazing. Let me start with the food: it's AMAZING. So many options, all healthy and delicious. You can choose between a pita or a greens & grains all of which are delicious. You also get a slice of pita with the greens & grains bowl! Along with that you get three sauce choices! There are about 6 or 7 options if I remember correctly, all so yummy and unique. Then you can choose your protein--all of them incredible. Lamb meatballs, falafel, sweet potato, specialty chicken, etc., etc. You can also get half and half proteins, but depending on the proteins you choose it's a dollar extra, which isn't too unreasonable considering how much you get! Lastly you pick all your toppings which including feta, avocado, cucumber and tomato, pickled red onions, and more! Now if you get a drink, you have a plethora of unique options like Cucumber Mint Lime and other interesting lemonade type drinks. If you're a fan of classic soda you may not like they're soda machine options, but I really liked the difference between them and other places. They had Mexican soda on tap, blueberry soda, etc. The service is great too! Everyone is friendly and helps you make your decisions if you ask! Someone got into a lovely conversation with me about a book I was reading, and it's just very nice to have such familiarity with your customers. My one and only complaint is that I wish they were more clear about what will cost extra and what won't. Of course you can always ask and they are happy to answer, and there are a few labels for things that are .99 cent extra, but it's always helpful to have everything listed somewhere. Good food but I paid for extra sauce on the side for both of my to go orders and did not get them. There were a couple of little containers in the bag so I was fooled thinking that must be the extra sauce. I was almost 10 minutes late to pick up my order but still had to wait. If fresh food is what you want, Cava is the place. Although I frequent both locations in Greensboro, the one at Friendly is my all time favorite location. Cava in general gets 5 stars from me. Always one of my favorite places! For this specific meal in general I have to give it 3. I ordered through the app a pick up order and was so excited to have it when I got home from work. My boyfriend went to go pick it up and when I got home and ready to eat, I realized that they did not include the free pita I ordered or the two sides of garlic dressing I ordered. It has both garlic dressings written on the slip that was attached to my bowl. The dressing is one of the best I've had and literally makes the bowl incredible. So it was just really disappointing missing one of my favorite parts of the meal. I've had 3 deliveries from CAVA and their food is excellent. High quality, prepared perfectly, reasonably priced and delicious. However. Unfortunately they have chosen the delivery company, DD. My 4th (and will be last) delivery never arrived. I was still waiting an hour after the promised delivery time. I contacted both DD and Cava and was told I would not receive a refund because the DD driver had picked it up and oh well, so sorry. I can't afford to throw away $20 and don't know many people who can A nice person from 4 apartment buildings away called to tell me they received my food (my phone number was on the receipt taped to the bag). It was still in the sealed bag so I told her to please keep and enjoy it (by this time I'd given up and eaten elsewhere). DD is one of many companies who have taken max advantage of the pandemic and are laughing all the way to the bank. It's too bad great restaurants like CAVA are caught in the middle. read more

I was so excited to try CAVA after two different friends in other cities gave it glowing reviews! I went within the first week of them opening, and the staff was super friendly and helpful! It is basically a mediterranean version of Chipotle, with options for pre-designed or build-your-own pitas and bowls. All of the ingredients are delicious and fresh, with few limits or upcharges for additional toppings. My only complaint is that the bowls were not super filling. Both my friend and I left feeling a little bit hungry. There's an option to add a second protein for a small upcharge, and that seems like a wise choice for next time. read more

As much as i love cava, im very disappointed in the lack of inclusivity, Im an emt and the first time i came in i was in uniform and was given a discount. This last time i came in, i let them know i was an first responder aka emt and the cashier said we don't have a first responder discount only fire and police i said.. that's odd because 1. Why wouldn't EMS be included? 2. It was given to me last time i was here. Does cava not think emts and paramedics are important or first responders. This really turned me off to cava. I probably wont be back. If the higher ups read this please take into consideration the IMPORTANCE of emts and paramedics. read more

The first time I ate here I was in the neighborhood and got the Greek chicken bowl with half chicken and half falafel. Everything was delicious except for the chicken. Little dried up hard overcooked pieces of chicken. But the falafel was good. Tonight my husband tried to order online using the app and it would not work - Apple Pay and the Cava app are not compatible? (Hubby is tech savvy so I don't think the issue was him). He gave up. So I was sitting at the computer and tried to order from the computer and could not swap out the dried up chicken for falafel instead. So I gave up and then I called the restaurant to place my order and the woman who answered the phone said: "we don't take the phone orders, use the app". I explained that we could not use the app and she said "we don't take phone orders" and SHE HUNG UP ON ME! This place will go out of business just like Zoe's if they don't do some customer service training. We are having pasta at home. Saving lots of money. I am boycotting Cava! read more

We went to Zoe's, which apparently changed to Cava. Thought we'd give it a try. Not at all the quality or crisp taste of Zoe's. Our salads were drowned in dressing rendering the greens wilted. They were otherwise tasteless. We will look for somewhere else to dine. read more

I walked into this place because I was extremely hungry and I love the charlotte location. Anyways they would not serve me because I was not wearing a mask. I think it's ridiculous that this place would make you wear a mask especially if you are ordering food and being polite. I can't believe the tone and attitude that was given to me by the cashier. All I want to know is how is wearing a mask to order and not wearing one when you sit down to eat any different. This is America and we have rights and freedom right? If we keep following the media they win. Besides what about the people who can't wear mask because they have a medical condition? Are they just not allowed to eat?
