Food is good. They neglect online orders though. I just waited for a door dash order for 25 minutes. They pass it down the line halfway and then put people in lines orders before. When I got there there was 2 people in line and they still couldn't do these online orders. Trash workers. Cashier doesn't know any names. Wow! I've heard so many good things about this place and finally got an opportunity to visit. Everything tastes super fresh, tastes amazing, they have a friendly staff, and the whole place is super clean! It's set up similar to a Chipotle, you walk up and choose your options.... so many options.... I would highly recommend looking at a menu and getting an idea of what you want before you stand in line to select your food. Whatever you pick will tastes good though! Make sure to try out their fresh juices, this past time I tried the strawberry and the watermelon and they were amazing. Had heard from a friend that this place was awesome- she was soooo right!!! Fast service, super friendly staff and yum-my food. Shawn was a HUGE help as I had no idea what I was doing there. It could look a little intimidating but everyone was very helpful. I ordered a bowl with saffron basmati rice, honey chicken, tzatziki, roasted red pepper hummus and crazy feta. Decided to try this place because it was whole30 compliant. I ordered for myself and my coworkers online so it would be organized. I pick up the food check the order. I'm missing an entire super green salad. So I call and inform the employee. When I get to pick up my salad. They are out of spicy meatballs(what I actually ordered). Then proceeded to tell me how she didn't forget a bowl. Also in my order I was supposed to have extra meatballs(none in the bowl) Also there was a random extra chicken pita in my order. I placed an order at 10:58 to be picked up at 11:15. I work 5 minutes away so I figured I'd have time to go pick my food up and head to work. I arrived at 11:03 and of course I didn't expect my food to be done for at least 10 minutes. I walk inside and wait patiently in the pick up line for my food. Several other online order placed as much as 12 minutes AFTER my order were prepared and picked up. I asked the woman working the register if my order was received and once I gave my name she simply said "It'll come down when it comes down." I'd never been to cava before, but if they are all like this I'm going to become a regular. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful. They offered tastes of things when I had trouble deciding, and when I asked if the falafel was fresh they said they'd make a new batch just for my wife and me. For just over nine dollars I got enough food for two meals. As another reviewer said, I'm sad I had not discovered CAVA until recently! For those of you who have not been.... it is kind of like a Mediterranean Chipotle, but better. I applaud the restaurant for their menu with the little grid on the back that very clearly tells you what items and sauces and add-ons are gluten free, dairy free, vegetarian, vegan. I do not have any special diet needs, but I know people who do and ordering from a restaurant is often like Russian roulette waiting for an epi pen. There are a ton of combinations possible, so definitely study the menu ahead of time. I sampled most of the beverage options, as well. They have fountain sodas (some unusual), but also have their own lemonades and other drinks in those Orange Julius-type dispensers you see at carnivals. My husband and I love the raw vegetables in the bowls with succulent lamb; it's worth the extra cost if you like lamb. I would have given them 5 stars if they had more kid friendly options. I used to love the Arundel Mills CAVA but the service has really gone down hill. The current staff is not very nice. The portions are much smaller and they forgot the pita chips on my last order. This evening there was only one person ahead of me and no line so I thought there was no way to mess this up. I ordered a grain and greens bowl with chicken (I watched them put chicken in the bowl) and somehow they managed to mix things up with one other bowl on the counter (probably an order that was called in). When I got home, to my surprise they gave me someone else's bowl with spicy hummus and no chicken. SMH. So the person who ordered a meatless bowl got a big surprise today. I really used to love this Cava. But is had really gone down hill since everything has opened back up . The line is always long they are always stingy with the food like it's coming out of their paychecks. Unfortunately I have to rate CAVA poorly. It used to be excellent both food and customer service. Over COVID we would place pickup orders. Regularly they aren't ready until 30 minutes or more after designated pickup time. Items are always missing, cold or stale. The manager on duty is generally rude when you ask about your order and there seems to be no organization or general care when it comes to the customers. Someone needs to take responsibility and show some leadership at this location read more

I loved cava. I got the spicy lamb salad and grain bowl. It was as flavorful as it could be. I would definitely recommend it to anybody else who are new to cava. The only reason why I am giving a four stars is because of its portion. I got a to-go but the portion was a bit small for me so I had to get a second dinner. FYI- I'm only 5 foot and 3 inches 140 ibs. So I'd say the portion could have been better! read more

I eat Cava at least one time per week, and I am always happy with my meal. I order a bowl with white rice, half chicken, half meatballs, and lots of toppings. I love that I can now add avocado to my order. The new pita is so much better, and I always include a side of chips. Very good food and generous portion sizes. read more

Let me start off by saying CAVA is my favorite place to eat so you can imagine my excitement when I saw they were opening one in Hanover!!! However.... I was in a hurry so I ordered ahead. Online ordering through the app was very easy. However when I got there at my pick up the me, it was not ready. It was NOT busy, but ok. They made it in about 3 mins and I was out the door. I get all the way home only to find my order is wrong. I ordered a greens and grains bowl w/ super greens and brown rice. Not only was there NO GREENS but they gave me white basmati rice. Fortunately at home I had some super greens and arugula I added. But I shouldn't have to add ingredients I ordered. Food still tasted good and they did give me a cup for a drink while I waited (which I had the oh so fabulous root beer mmmmmmmmm). I will definitely go back but will make sure I have time to order in person and watch them prepare my bowl. read more
