It was my first time to visit a Cava restaurant and it was a good experience, The food was better than the customer service but both were above average. I like the patio at this location and the variety of tea/juice flavors that they have as well as the variety of everything! I will definitely be back to try other ingredients but what I put together today was very tasty!

    Steak over cooked

The steak was very well done it was dry and hard !! I barely could chew it! I usually love cava , but this location has on multiple occasions served dry , hard steak. This is an up charge as well, do better !

$3.35 for a tablespoon of hummus

Food was good but the portions were way too small for the price! The side of red bell pepper humus was $3.35 and it was a literal tablespoon of hummus. They also forgot my pita chips for the second time.

The food is always fresh and tasty. The portions are great and I like that when I come to this location it's never packed! This place doesn't disappoint.

Per usual, they are a HIT! Customer service is excellent, food is bomb, and the establishment is clean! What more can one ask for? I had to sign up for the reward system since they are clearly taking ALL of my money.

Ordered Cava today for dinner through DoorDash. It was made and delivered pretty quickly. I was disappointed in how little pita bread they gave when we ordered it for two entrees. The dill yogurt sauce was really good and the bowl itself was really tasty. All of the ingredients were really fresh but I would have liked to have more Romain lettuce to fill the bowl a bit more. I also would have liked to have the hummus on the side in a separate container to eat with the pita bread but I suppose it's my fault for not specifying. Overall it was very good and I will be going back for more when I'm in the area.

After seeing all the hype about this place, I decided it was finally time for me to try it; and it definitely WAS WORTH THE HYPE. To be honest, I just asked for everything I saw to be put in my bowl thinking it was going to be the most randomest taste, but holy cow; it was delicious! So much flavor and that Mediterranean taste is to die for. Chipotle was always my favorite place, but I think it just got easily replaced. Definitely recommend everyone to try it out! Also, good and fast service with clean dining area. For my order I got: a grain bowl, brown rice, red pepper hummus, regular hummus, harissa honey chicken ($1.05) , tomato and cucumber, pita crisps, fire-roasted corn, avocado ($2.05), garlic dressing, hot harissa vinaigrette, side pita

Another place that has been on my "Hit List" for some time…read more I walked in with high expectations as I go to their original location in DC often. Walking in i was surprised as how different the vibe was. The DC location is much smaller and more intimate. The Houston location is much more spacious and gives a more upscale vibe. Service was top level from the moment you walk in. Welcomed with a warm smile and taken straight to my table. Waters and menus came right as I was sitting. I started with the Dolmeh, the minced beef was seasoned very well. The pomegranate sauce was a bit strong for my taste buds. My main course was the Lamb Kabob which was spot on to my experience from the DC location. I did notice they were very generous with the raisins in the basmati rice. I did receive a free birthday desert which surprised me. They brought me the Persian ice cream sandwich and it was amazing! I'm looking forward to going back soon.

Family of five went on an average weekday for a birthday. We had made reservations ahead of time,…read moreas we had a large party. We arrived at the restaurant and waited for more than 30 minutes while our kids were hungry, and nobody seemed to even look up. After we had bothered the hostess several times that we are waiting to be seated, we were repeatedly told to wait. Finally, after nearly 40 minutes of waiting, we threw in the towel and left. They did not seem to care. The problem with restaurants becoming as popular as this place is that, as the customer base grows, they will care less and less. It seemed to us that they had overbooked the restaurant and were unable to find seating. The food may be good, but if the service is not commensurate with that, there is no point to dining at a place like this. It behooves management to pay attention to how many reservations they take and their ability to honor customers to reserved ahead.

Only one other table was occupied, and someone who seemed to be the owner warmly greeted my group of 5 with some menus and an offer for Turkish coffee and tea. The lunch special is quite generous, and includes a wide array of starters and entrees. With 5 people, we tried 5 different appetizers and 5 different entrees and got a good sampling of their menu. The chicken shish kebab, falafel, lamb kebab, and menemen were all well seasoned and paired nicely with the many dishes of rice, salad, and flatbread they all came with. The lentil soup was also delicious. I was with my parents, who really only have a desire to eat East and Southeast Asian food, but they still enjoyed our meal here, which is saying a lot.
