Meal 1 meat + 2 sides, added extra side
    Vik P.

3.8 I'd say thus far...located near Whataburger/le Regio in the tunnels. Stopped by for lunch with a couple of coworkers today. Large chalkboard as you enter the line explaining the menu. A la carte, Non Veg/Veg combos, wraps, salads, and paninis (coming soon). Cafeteria style, but everything looks really fresh as you go down the line. I decided to go with the 1 meat/2 sides combo, but my first option (spicy fish) at 12:00pm had already sold out...still new so they are still finding their footing. I ended up just getting gyro with greek salad and "mama" ghanoush...I have always thought it was baba...though mama looks like baba and baba looks different from the norm. They had different pasta and salad styles, potato salad, hummus (spicy/reg) and many more sides to choice from. Also several meat options and of course falafel. I got a couple extra sides to try...potato salad and a falafel as well. inside a good amount of seating, but when full could be tricky to maneuver through ++Sonic Ice++ Meal Sadly for me the highlight of my meal besides the Sonic Ice was my Greek Salad and the pita (liked the thinness). Mama Ghanoush seems a little bland but you could feel/see pieces of eggplant...had to add the side of chili paste to add some flavor Potato Salad was good, but the extra large chunks of potato made bites a little dry/starchy. Falafel - just dry Gyro - was good/fresh and somehow didn't seem as heavy as other gyro places around downtown. Will definitely be back to try other items. Added note (coworkers order) they should automatically add rice to the chicken curry dish...seemed more like a soup.

Service here was excellent , the manager / owner was so attentive, and assisted us with making choices. Took the time to help us pick out what we wanted and explained in detail what every meat was and let us see all the items before picking . He was very patient and kind . . The food was fresh and overall really good, would definelty return .

Located in the tunnels of downtown, this small place offer a punch of flavor and options for those working downtown. The space was clean and service was good. There is seating available and refill on your drinks. I especially loved their salad options (pastas, veggies salads are great ). The potatoe was delicious and complimented my meat option. Portions are true to size, meaning perfectly balanced which helps me stay on my journey to better health.

I got the veg combo that includes 4 sides. I chose hummus, pesto pasta, greek salad, and the quinoa salad.

The food was unimpressive; it lacked any flavor and tasted pretty bland. For some reason, the hummus didn't actually taste like hummus at all. Other than the food, the service and ambiance were okay, nothing special though. To be honest, I felt that the meal wasn't worth my money.

Spicy baked fish, vermicelli rice and Mediterranean salad.

I love chosing busy days and times to try a business, it shows what they can keep in stock, how well they know their community and busy hours. This location at 1:30 (the time we actually got to order) was not sold out of any item on their menu. What we ordered: - Beef Ribs - Glazed Pork Ribs - Sausage Link: regular and cheddar - Brisket (sliced) - Bacon Mac & Cheese - Potato Salad - Duck and Sausage Jambalaya - Peach Cobaker - Banana Pudding over all Review of the whole place, 10/10. Line was organized and had available water for the heat. Servers out to offer beer and water and to pass out menus and explain the process of how this place works. Servers inside were constantly cleaning tables and available to get to go boxes and lids if needed. The meat was literally fall off the bone tender and juicy. Everything was Smokey and flavored wonderfully. My number one: the Mac and cheese! I dont know something about an amazing side took me away. Most places can't do a mac the way i like it, but the cheese stayed moist and creamy and the noodles were tender. the flavor was phenomenal. all of the meats were tender and fall off the bone and juicy. I have no complaints About any bite I took! Other than maybe taking too many bites XD. Would absolutely recommend if your visiting the area or live near by, go get some excellent barbecue.

They had run out of beef ribs, so we ended up getting the pork chop instead, and it was really good! The mac and cheese with bacon was rich, cheesy, and delicious. The potato salad was a huge surprise, I'm usually not a potato salad person, but this one was a solid 10/10. The only thing I wouldn't recommend was this French-style side (it looked like a giant turd ). It was a 0/10 for me. I took one bite and couldn't eat the rest. The peach cobbler was just okay. It wasn't bad, but it didn't really wow me compared to everything else. Overall, the food was incredible, especially the brisket. I'll definitely be coming back. 10/10, highly recommend!

We tried the turkey, brisket, and jalapeño sausage, and every one of them was delicious. The brisket was especially impressive--moist, incredibly tender, and so soft you didn't even need a knife to cut it. The sides were very good, but the meats were definitely the highlight of the meal. One thing we really appreciated was the toppings bar, which included pickles, onions, pickled onions, jalapeños, and two different barbecue sauces so you could customize each bite. They even had a mini soft-serve ice cream machine for a little dessert after your meal, which was a nice touch. They also offer family meal options, making it a great choice for larger groups. The restaurant was clean, had plenty of seating, and the staff was friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. This is a nicely sized spot next to the Jusgo plaza in Houston Chinatown, so plenty of parking and also food options. It's tucked in a corner but should not be written off. Its a pretty casual sitdown restaurant and we were welcomed and sat pretty quickly on a Saturday around 8:30PM. We were provided menus and started ordering everything that sounded good (within reason for 2, sorta). We ended up getting the Uyghur polo with lamb shank, Uyghur goshnaan, korma chop, garlic cucumbers, mint tea, and a yogurt for dessert. This was more than enough food for 2 but I wanted to try a bunch and this is me holding back. The Uyghur goshnaan was very crispy and the filling was flavorful and juicy, good lamb flavor and nice spices. The Uyghur polo with lamb shank was great and the pilaf had a nice sweetness with raisins that cut through some of the fatty richness of the lamb. The korma chop was also super flavorful with a nice savory sauce and noodled with an excellent texture, very QQ. I don't usually order cucumbers at Asian restaurants cause I can make a cucumber salad pretty easily at home but the one here was very good. Excellent refreshing crunch and garlic flavor to go with all the other dishes. The mint tea was also nice to wash down the mountains of food I was inhaling. I also enjoyed the yogurt, it's a thicker yogurt like a Greek yogurt and topped with honey and raisins. Again, a nice sweet/tart treat that didn't feel too heavy after everything else. I definitely need to come back as I didn't even get my big plate chicken but it'll be hard to choose between all the options. I def recommend this spot, esp if you like lamb as all the dishes we had were excellent and priced fairly for the portion and current economic situation.
