i opened my takeout and the pita bread had what looks like mold on it. i was excited to eat and instantly lost my appetite. how does food leave the kitchen looking like this?? this isn't just gross, it's a health issue. someone seriously needs to pay attention before serving food because this should've never made it into a customer's hands.

This CAVA location is newer and better than most of them. It wasn't super busy when we came but the line started to get longer after we got our foods and sat down. There were only five people ahead of us but the line moved very slowly. I got the bowl with two green choices and half non-spicy and half spicy chicken. Their greens were clean and everything was super fresh and delicious. Be careful of the red spicy sauce though. That was really spicy. And they forgot to give me my piece of pita! I just realized that when I got home. Hubby had the pita bread with the regular non-spicy chicken and he thought it was very good too. Service was good. Staff were polite and respectful.

ordered a FULL portion grains bowl and what i recieved was ridiculous. i wouldnt even consider it halfway filled. I should NOT be paying 15$ for this. Im so dissapointed considering I come here regularly. IT JUST GETS BETTER in my other bowl i ordered half sweet potato and half falafel to my surprise theres no sweet potato OR pickled onions. not sure if the incompetent workers cant read or whats going on but considering every item i ordered is wrong i am furious.

    Sydney taking my order

The workers here are just the absolute best! Ordered my signature pita bread, steak, tzatziki sauce, lettuce, avocado, and garlic sauce, and the food was just cooked to perfection! I believe Sydney and Rosa helped me out with my order and it was just spectacular. Sydney and Rosa brought so much joy and happiness whilst taking my order. I felt as though I were talking to my friends! Had a fun experience, will come back again and love the food and the people as well.

Came into Cava on a Sunday and there was no line! The indoor space is modern and spacious. And they have a lovely outdoor patio. Made an amazing fresh tasting bowl. Love cava and the options!

The review I wish I had seen before coming:…read more Pretty terrible honestly. We made a reservation for eight people including a toddler and an infant and were never told we would be seated outside in 87 degree heat. When we asked about it the hostess got defensive and told us we hadn't specified inside or outside. We're traveling and have never been here. Sorry but customers shouldn't have to know they need to specify that. Honestly it felt like that interaction set the tone for how our table was treated from the start. Water took ages and cocktails took even longer. No one checked on us, cleared the table or offered another round. An hour in we had to ask about the drinks, and out of our being politeness we didn't ask about the food. Trying to give benefit of doubt, again. The kids food was the last to come out Restaurant 101. Feed the tiny customers first, keep ALL customers outside the table even, happy. My entire meal was a five wing starter that had clearly been forgotten. Instead of just admitting it and apologizing we were told they were coming. They finally arrived as everyone else was finishing so my starter was quite literally the finisher. Then the check came and we waited another 20 minutes for someone to come back so we could actually pay and leave. The food was average but the service made the entire experience not worth it. Plenty of franchises do customer service far better, so I'd suggest people check out BJs or Cheesecake Factory even a ruby's would have been better. Sometimes customer service can be taught. Sometimes apparently it can't be. Won't be back. Hope this helps.

Rangeen calls itself Indian-Californian, which in a tired little strip mall can sound like the kind…read moreof identity crisis best avoided. I'd driven past it plenty of times on the way to the dog groomer and never once felt compelled to stop. Friday night changed that. We were hungry, but not sit-down-for-two-hours hungry. We wanted something better than fast food, but not some overproduced evening of cocktails and self-importance. We wanted food worth getting out of the car for. Rangeen hit that mark beautifully. Getting my wife on board took some work. She's not a curry person. But a few online photos of fresh, vibrant salads were enough to win her over. Inside, the place still showed traces of whatever came before it, a blank quick-serve menu screen hanging awkwardly over the counter, like a relic from another life. But this was table service, and a perfectly comfortable one at that. There were maybe eight or nine tables, and one lone server holding down the front of house. Casual, older, thin, moving with purpose. She greeted us warmly, dropped menus, answered the phone, checked back often, kept the table tidy, and somehow managed to make the whole room feel cared for without a hint of drama. I went for the spicy mango chicken. My wife chose a healthy-looking salad with grilled sweet potatoes, nuts, and all the things I generally avoid unless someone smarter than me orders them first. We added naan, because not ordering naan would have been foolish. The food took a few minutes longer than the impatient part of your brain might expect. But then it arrived, and suddenly none of that mattered. My dish was excellent: nicely seasoned bite-sized pieces of chicken, rice, a fresh side salad, and a spicy sauce that pulled the whole thing together with real intention. And the plating, that was the surprise. This wasn't tossed on a plate like an afterthought from the spot next to the grocery store. It looked like someone actually gave a damn. And that, really, is what stays with you. Not just that the food was good, but that care had gone into it. The ingredients may not have been expensive, I say that as someone who owns restaurants and knows roughly what things cost, but value isn't about raw food cost. It's about what arrives at the table, how it's presented, and whether anybody in the building seems to care if you enjoy it. At $19, this was a steal. For about the price of a drive-thru burger meal, I got something thoughtful, well executed, and satisfying enough to remind me why local places like this matter. And to the party of four next to us who only left a five-dollar tip: do better.

I'd rather call it an experience. My family and I predominantly enjoyed the desert selections. They were all nicely done - creative, tasty and light. I don't think it goes well with the bowl. I'd rather have steamed broccoli or less charred broccoli with a fat like mayo or cheese based sauce Bok choy: this also doesn't go well as ginger overwhelms your palette and it takes a while to reset and taste things normally. I'd suggest changing it to soy bok choy sautéed in sesame oil. Combined with nomnivore rewards, it's still surprisingly great value for money (sweetgreen value territory or even better).
