If I could give 0 stars I would Honestly, Josh is one of the worst managers I've ever come across. He's rude, condescending, and constantly micromanages people to the point where it makes the job miserable. On top of that, he's unprofessional outside of work too (I saw what you did outside of that See's Candies) Instead of leading by example, he sets a terrible standard. Instead of giving constructive criticism he directly comes for you and belittles you in front of other workers that are more than capable of helping out. It gets to the point where you literally have to quit in order to get away from this guy. If you're looking for a respectful and supportive workplace or a place to eat, I would avoid working anywhere or eating anywhere that has him as a manager. Josh is less of a manager and more of a walking HR complaint, also probably lowkey but high-key homophobic. He's got some superiority complex and feeds off of power trips and kind of talks to some of his employees like they're stupid or something. Avoid this place and avoid this guy, the fact that no one else seems to be complaining to upper management is beyond me. Get this guy fired or demote this guy because this is a load of barnacles if you ask me. Never eating here again and never stepping foot at this place again either, will not recommend and I really hope this review opens the eyes of upper management so they can have some kind of assessments on "What makes a good team leader" let alone a MANAGER. You wanna come to work and not dread when he clocks in, but imagine coming to work all happy and then you see that he's scheduled the whole time you're there. Came by Cava for the first time with my husband and had a memorable experience. I had seen mixed reviews saying staff are rude, but that was not our experience at all. The employee who helped us was Natalie, who I believe is one of the managers there. After we mentioned it was our first time, she walked us through how the menu and service work. She was very nice and helpful, and managed to help us quickly with no rush even during busy traffic. In fact, the line still moved quickly which demonstrates the teamwork involved. We were grateful to her and the team! The store ambiance is very nice with plenty of clean spaces to dine in. I also want to clarify something from other reviews about portions: customers are allowed unlimited toppings, so you can always ask for more! Great place to have a quick snack before the movies or just if your in the plaza doing some shopping at Whole Foods, I really enjoy the food here and the service is always amazing to me and always very helpful. The ambiance is very chill with a bunch of fun people helping you through the tough selection of items. If you're new to this place I would recommend to always ask for a manager and let them know its your first time, I got helped by Argelia and she made sure my bowl was made to my liking. Portions are pretty decent with options for more, do keep in mind just like all other restaurants asking for extra will cost you more, but again I truly believe the normal portions are enough to satisfy you hunger. The inside is always so clean and it smells incredible. I had David helping me with my bowl today and he did an incredible job. Walking in to a chain restaurant 20 minutes before close is normally a recipe for disaster. But with the air blowing ice cold on an unusually warm night in March, and the team displaying excellent service, CAVA surpassed expectations. Particularly, Kaleena and Alex were highly engaging in their service. Alex had high spirits, despite it being the end of a long work shift, and having a closing routine possibly interrupted by two rowdy dudes. And Kaleena rounded out our order with a smile and excellent attention to detail. There was a woman in a black collared shirt who appeared to be in a leadership role, although I'm not sure if she was a manager. I do have complaints on the service of this location, however. Based on observation, the manager has difficulty balancing online vs. in-person orders, diffusing conflict, and keeping the environment clean.
