My wife Lisa came by the Cava at the Vineyards at Porter Ranch around 4 o clock today. They' were making the food and they had a slight hiccup. My wife was very patient and Chris came out and was very nice and said you've been so great and patient he comped her the meal that is the example of a great manager. Also another example of the Cava culture they covered this to my brother and a friend at the Brea mall about six months ago. Love this place for a quick but elevated bite. The salad bar concept makes it fun to choose your own ingredients or let them make their own. Their combos are good. The meat is a little too salty but it's still worth it. The service is fast because the set up is like a chipotle. You just stand in line and grab your food. read more

Usually a fan of Cava, however the most recent visit struck sanitary concerns. The employee dropped a bottle of empty sauce and kicked it aside. He then picked it up off the ground and threw it in the designated dirty dish bin. That wasn't the issue though, it was him wrapping my pita right afterwards without even changing gloves. read more

This location is excellent and had fantastic service from Jay. He has been here the last few times I placed my orders and he takes the time to make sure the condiments are not contaminated by others etc example, cheese mixed with other items. I highly recommend this location! read more

Usually, this location is amazing, but the last 2 times I've gone, I've received sub-par food. The falafel was hard and the rice was cold. Today, I ordered a kids meal, and was surprised when I had to wait for 30 minutes after the app said my food was ready. Finally I was fortunate to try Cava, what a treat! Their proteins and sides are definitely super great. Great quality and extremely delicious in every way. I must say, I absolutely love Cava! I'm embarrassed to say that I've ordered Cava 5 days straight! Don't judge me lol! The bowls are that good. I purchased the custom bowl with Splendid greens and brown rice as my base, red pepper hummus and Harissa as my hummus options, spicy falafels and veggies, herb lemon vinaigrette and lemon Caesar dressings, along with several toppings (pickled onions, roasted corn, olives and cucumber and tomatoes). I also usually get a side of the vegan pita bread and roasted red pepper hummus. The bowl never disappoints! It's full of flavor in every bite. I never can finish the bowl. I usually will have the bowl for lunch and dinner and still have extra left over. The customer service is not the best at this location. I've visited other locations and the customer service was excellent. I always feel rushed when I come to this location. It does not feel welcoming at all. They also run out of items on the main serving line which is a bummer because I love the pickled onions. "Cava please prep tons of pickled onions because that's the main item that runs out every time." The restaurant is located in a beautiful area in Porter ranch. There's tons of other restaurants nearby. Be prepared to wait if you come in during dinner hours on the weekend. This seem to be a go to location for the locals. I didn't have a long wait time throughout the week. Overall, good food and beautiful location. I just wish the customer service was better (less feeling of being rushed and more welcoming vibe instead) and the items were well stocked up. read more

I've heard of how unsanitary Cava is and idk how we even decided to give this restaurant another try. I had never experienced the filth myself before. Everything was mediocre before getting to the drink dispenser area. All the lemonade dispensers were filthy from the outside. Noticing how filthy they were from the outside I decided to peak into the ice dispenser and EWWW. This is toxic and absolutely disgusting. Families come here with their kids. I spoke with the manager and he shrugged his shoulders when I mentioned the mold. Ice refill area for the drink dispenser wide open! No cover no lid. I will never be back again as will also be notifying the health department. read more

Gross!!!!!! First impressions are everything! Upon entering this Cava at lunchtime I noticed that the front door was covered in handprints and the push bar had the feeling of leftover food on it. At that point I was thinking twice about eating here if they can't even keep the door clean. As I was hungry and in a hurry I proceeded on. Not without washing my hands first. We ordered two drinks and 2 pita sandwiches and the bill amounted to over 35 dollars! Note this is not a sit down restaurant but a fast food restaurant. A little steep per the amount of food provided. I ordered the falafel sandwich and they put four mini balls in it. Really for about 12 dollars! Massive profit here. When trying to eat the sandwich, juice pour out of it from the toppings. Another thing that bothered me about the food was watching the cook make chicken. Half of a pice chicken was hanging off the side of the griddle: not sure if this is an image of sanitary?! As for the drinks, a small cost over 3.25 for a cup. The drink selection is good if you want more than soda. They have a selection of teas and lemonade. Large is about 30 cents more! But don't expect ice! I couldn't even get ice out of the machine as none was left! Why do I need to report this to the staff?! Why is nobody monitoring this?! Took them at least ten minutes to get ice! Again I'm paying big bucks to eat here! To make matters worst! Tables were dirty inside and out, food was cemented into the tables. They looked like they have never been cleaned. Trays left on the tables as well. Anyways when you pay this price you should expect quality, cleanliness and service! This establishment has none of those qualities! I would give this place zero stars if I could. In summary, Skip this place and try another restaurant in this complex. Plenty of better places to choose! read more
