I came on Friday right before I went to work. I'm not to familiar with Cava as I was introduced to it by someone else. However, as soon as I walked in I was greeted by Milly. She was more than helpful in ensuring I chose the right ingredients for my bowl and just all in all very knowledgeable about the options. With this confidence, I definitely went with her recommendations. She possessed a welcoming energy and positive attitude--compared to other places where everyone may ignore you, rush you, or even display an attitude for asking questions. Usually I love me some Cava but today it was a mess. Please look at the photos, the staff was so unprepared and messy when we arrived and I even witnessed staff preparing our food doing it incorrectly. So much so, even a coworker of theirs was asking them "what are you doing?" My boyfriend got a pita wrap and it was so messy, drenched in liquid rendering it inedible. Who wants a wrap made like this? Then she lost the wrap and found it again. A mess. This location just opened and is operating like this. Just know that if you go here they are a mess and don't know what they are doing. The staff had to reference cards to know how to put these items together. The girl after she found the wrap didn't even check it to make sure it was what we ordered. She is unprofessional, this whole establishment is unprofessional honestly. When I asked if the restaurant was open, one of the employees gave me a very bad attitude and seemed annoyed by my question. After that, they appeared unwilling to make my food. I honestly blame myself for continuing to give this location a chance after multiple order issues.... But grace, understanding, and patience right? I order through DoorDash/ Uber eats. And this location has made mistakes such as forgetting to add protein (upgraded price for harissa honey chicken), leaving out add on pita chips (also an up-charge), and the most recent offense which was giving my order to an unspecified person and telling my doordasher that the order had already been picked up/ delivered when he arrived , that was pretty funny. He's there in person showing them the active order and they basically tell the delivery man "no" that order has been picked up and delivered. Although there could have been a thief dasher I trust DoorDash and their employees more than the staff at this location (I promise I tried to be understanding! I gave them 3 tries!) I've actually walked into the location myself to confront them about the chicken incident... because who is eating rice salad when they paid extra for sweet chicken and the employee kind of giggled like "oh was that you calling the phones?" I responded "yes" and explained what happened. She immediately went into defense mode and said that I would need to contact doordash for a refund. I'm like girl... lol I don't want a refund, I came all the way down here for you to remake the plate even though I paid for a delivery service. She made it and I left thinking huh... that's so odd. They must be training. But against my better judgement I went back and alas... here I am on yelp warning others to give this place one shot max. Still being nice with the one shot but my first experience was cool! Those are probably the majority of the 5 star reviews tourists passing through for a one time visit. But don't take my word for it! Try yourself if you must, this just serves as a warning. I wish my past self would have seen this. As you can tell I had time today. So my girlfriend and I came in around 8pm, when we ordered the basmati rice was almost empty, and we got the smallest scoops of rice I've ever seen. It was literally like 4 bites worth of rice. I ordered steak, and it was the driest toughest steak I've ever had. My girlfriend wanted the grilled chicken, but there was only half a portion left, so the server asked if she would like half and half. So she chose the harissa chicken for the other half, but they charged us for that even though its not our fault that theyre out of the grilled chicken!? Thats completely insane. Also they never asked if we would like the complimentary pita on the side. The employees have terrible customer service skills and dont seem to care about customer satisfaction at all. The only saving grace was when I complained about my steak being dry, the manager/shift leader on duty offered to remake my bowl. I didnt get her name, but she had glasses on. I hope the management sees this and seriously improves the customer service training because some of the employees genuinely do not seem to care at all. Cava is great. It's like a middle eastern version of chipotle. This was my first time so I basically tried all the toppings and they were all pretty good! I loved the garlic dressing/sauce on top. Very strong garlic flavor but I love that. Their drinks are all specialty & refillable. I tried the Cucumber Mint Lemonade, which was so refreshing. The people who helped me were very nice and patient as I didn't know what to get since it was my first time. They have a good amount of seating and one table outside. We parked in the lot on the next block since there is no parking. I will definitely come back. read more

The manager on duty today 6/14/2025 around 5pm knows how to provide EXCELLENT customer service! Sorry, I forgot to ask for his name. When I arrived and started my order, the staff realized the protein I wanted was out. They informed me it would be a 10-15 minute wait. Since I had been craving a bowl I waited about 20 minutes. After the wait, the manager remade my bowl to ensure everything was hot and fresh; he even took the spicy lamb meatballs off the grill himself to make my bowl. I appreciate the apology for the wait. It's the simple acknowledgment of the wait that I was grateful for; that alone earns my loyalty. He even went a step further to comp my meal. I can tell that the staff at this location work hard due the busy area so kudus to them too! The restaurant was very clean despite how busy it was. That's a sign that the manger cares about the standards of his restaurant. My only suggestion would be to inform customers of any items they may be out of/require time to cook before starting orders so that customers can decide whether they want to wait, change their order or not place an order at all. This will hopefully prevent the business from wasting food by having to remake orders or having customers canceling their order after it's started.
