My wife and I both ordered our own meals, after we got them we decided our next visit we'd split one. The only thing we bought that was subpar was the chocolate chip cookie. The grains bowl wifey got was very good, she got a base of black lentil beans, two proteins consisting of harissa honey chicken and braised lamb, she could've chose up to three dips or spreads. I went with a pita, my proteins were the harissa chicken and spicy lamb meatballs, all of which was amazing, I went with crazy feta and tzatziki sauces, a little lettuce and both meals we selected a few veggies I don't remember, all tasty. They had six different kinds of tea and Maine Root soft drinks, we both went with the diet Mexican cola, good stuff. We'll be back for more goodies. read more

Vibe- It's super clean inside (even the restrooms). There's plenty of seating inside and some outside as well. Customer service- Everyone was pretty friendly and helpful except one person that seemed irritated (I get it we all have those days, but...) Food/drinks- This was my first time and won't be my last. I did the create your own bowl with grains. I got the brown basmati rice, hummus, avocado, falafel (no extra charge!), tomato, cucumber, fire roasted corn, and garlic dressing. When I visit the Houston area, going to CAVA is a must. I've eaten here three times and have zero complaints! (My only complaint is that we don't have one in Chicago!) CAVA is a Chipotle-esque Mediterranean themed fast food chain that serves up super-fresh food in a bowl or a pita wrap. I built a bowl, starting with Romaine lettuce and saffron basmati rice. (Other options include arugula, spinach, lentils, brown rice and more.) Dips and spreads include hummus, tzatziki, harissa (and lots more!), meats include harissa honey chicken (my favorite), lamb, falafel (and more!) and there are over a dozen veggie toppings! (The fiery broccoli is amazing.) To top it off, there are eight dressings. The crispy, buttery pita chips are addictive. I am a dedicated water-only drinker, but I ventured out and tried a house-made juice drink and OH MY GOSH! I had the Cucumber Mint Lime (delicious) and Pineapple Apple Mint - my absolute favorite. Mediterranean food Chipotle-style. Lol. Honestly, most will likely claim this is sooooo much better than Chipotle. It's not. But the novelty factor gives it an edge. It truly is all the same idea and in fact, depending on how your palette leans, you might pick Chipotle in a blind taste test. The food is fresh. The price is reasonable. Staff is friendly. Get the honey chicken and spicy lamb balls for proteins. Let's just pray that don't suffer the same fate as the prior inhabitant of this location. Final grade: B I'll come back eventually. I am a big cava fan as I go to California often and would get it every time. I just went as far as messaging the IG to see if I could get some Harissa and Crazy Feta shipped to me here in PearLand. Then they informed me it was coming to houston! I didn't realize right down the street. I have been 3 times and ordered on doordash once. Some notes I always get harissa and crazy feta as my scoops! I like the harissa chicken and the spicy lamb meatballs as my protein All the veggies are great and fresh! I like the super greens mix as I love kale The right rice seems like the healthy choice but it's more calories than the brown rice The green herb sauce and some pita is to die for. One of my favorites! If I could justify it, I'd eat here on a daily basis. Everything is fresh and flavorful. The Mediterranean style cuisine resembles Chipotle but with a higher sense of quality and options. The service is fast as it's cafeteria style. Solid CAVA location in Houston. I missed CAVA a lot after leaving California so was excited to see a familiar place in Houston. CAVA is a Mediterranean style Chipotle, where you can choose from a salad, base of rice, or mix, and then customize with protein and dip. I like halving the proteins for half falafel and half beef meatballs. The dips are all really tasty. You can go crazy with the free toppings if you want to bulk up your bowl. The food is very fresh and tasty - and there's pita that comes with the food for free! read more

This was my first time here but it won't be my last! I had a build your own bowl, and honestly, it was great! I tried the honey harissa chicken (yessss) and spicy lamb meatballs (pass). It was very filling and tasted like good quality Mediterranean fast food. Win! I gave them 4 stars (rounded up from 3.5) because other reviews mentioned how great the service was and how helpful the servers were on their first visit, and I didn't have that same experience. I barely got an audible "hello" before ordering, much less any help navigating their options for my first time. They didn't even offer me the free pita bread!!! The only reason I even knew to ask for it was from other reviews. The poor service was disappointing but not enough to make me miss out on a solid meal read more

Mediterranean fast food at its best. We were pleasantly surprised here. You can create a pita or a bowl. We weren't sure how this worked but Jordan (thank you) walked us thru it. We are definitely coming back. My husband had lamb and I had chicken. Very delicious. There was no line up but there very well could be if you go at lunch time or dinner (we eat early so 5:30 on a Sunday was not busy). There was a steady stream of customers even then. read more

I stopped by a little over an hour before closing. This was me and my husband's first time and while I enjoyed the food, the employees seemed like they were ready to go. They just didn't seem inviting or wanting to engage with us, even when my husband mentioned it was our first time. Food was tasty and filling, the people behind the counter were nice over all the place looked clean. Price was reasonable for the food. My only issue was that one of the employees had her boyfriend there waiting on her or something but it was just very awkward when trying to get drinks because he was hovering in the area, then to make it more cringey when she did make it over to him (and I am assuming that she wa not on a break because she kept going back and forth at this point to work the counter and back to the BF) they decided that making out was what people wanted to see while having lunch. Now I'm not against PDA but some degree of professionalism could be said was not discussed with this young lady and maybe it should. I felt bad because her coworkers were obviously picking up her slack during this time. Other than that CAVA a great place for lunch or whatever a time meal. read more

The food is just so delicious and the teas. I like to dine in person to drink the tea to my desire.....all of them. I can't say enough about the food and I am well-pleased with the environment, the kind and friendly staff too. I got the Harissa Avocado bowl. It was ok. I chose the chicken and braised lamb. The meat could have been warmer as it was cold/luke warm. The braised lamb was 1/2 to mostly fat/tendons so that made the bowl weird, having to spit out the fatty parts. Maybe that was a sign to go fully Vegan, but I've had it be very lean and warm at the Baton Rouge, LA location, so my expectations where set high. Other than that, the blueberry lavender drink mixed with a little lemonade was phenomenal. The fried Pita bread dipped in the garlic sauce was also awesome. The service was pleasant for Houston area standards. The building was clean with a good atmosphere. read more

The food was okay nothing really stood out. I tried the brown butter scallops, and they just tasted like oily scallops. Not too much flavor, but they were cooked nicely. I also tried their avocado tuna taco, and those were a bit weird. The flavors and texture weren't it for me. The inside was kind of mushy, but it did have a hint of yuzu sauce, which made it tolerable. Next, I tried the gumbo with cornbread, and the cornbread with the gumbo was a game changer. It definitely kicked it up a notch. The gumbo didn't have very strong flavors like other gumbos, but I still enjoyed it. Then I tried the fish and chips. The fish was cooked crispy to my liking, and the portion size was decent. However, the fries were a bit too hard and tasted a little stale. The oysters were the last thing I tried and they were pretty decent my favorite was the easy coasts ones. My only complaint with them were the shell some pieces of shell ended up in the meat portion. The service was great too and they have happy hour.

It comes with nitrate free smoked turkey (the main reason I get it), bacon, pepper Jack cheese, Roma tomatoes, and guacamole on sour dough bread. It also comes with thousand island dressing but I leave that off. The app allows you to easily delete or add items to your sandwich. The sandwich is served warm, as it is put on a panini press. I generally really like this sandwich. Ordering through the app is a quick and easy way to order something relatively healthy and decent tasting, especially when you're on the move. My constructive feedback for this restaurant is the need for quality consistency. Sometimes the sandwich is better than other times, but is overall generally good.

First off, we feel like this location needs a bit of a deep cleaning and/or renovation. My husband and I were joking about the "sketchiness of the cleanliness" as we were pulling it. Joking they "toe the line" of "should we eat here or not?" Secondly, I ALWAYS get the salad bar. Always. The items haven't been fresh here. The biggest culprit has been the artichokes. I usually put a big ol' mound on my salad. The last 2x they have been FIZZY... which lends me to believe they are topping off old items with fresh items and it's never getting changed out/is old/fermenting. This particular visit, in addition to the fizzy artichokes, the sliced red bell pepper tasted off and the romaine lettuce was brown. (Sigh). I hope my salad stays down. My husband enjoyed his New York Yankee and luckily, this visit they correctly subbed his chips for "steamed veggies" like he asked. Last visit he asked for "steamed broccoli" and unknowingly the guy rang him up for a cup of broccoli cheese soup for an additional $5... we never went back up to get our money back and my husband didn't eat the soup. The kids always enjoy their meals: usually cheese pizza or pasta with meatballs and marinara. Then they gobble up ungodly amounts of the free ice cream. Today's visit, for whatever reason, the ice cream was extra "soupy" and so runny it couldn't even be put on a cone. The highlight was the girl at the register was friendly. It's getting to be hard to want to come back to this location. Might have to only treat ourselves to Jason's when we're out in Webster.
