    Lentil Avocado Bowl
    Mahwish S.

I love me a good Cava bowl. I typically get mixed greens and grains bowl (saffron rice or the black lentils), with hot honey chicken. My go to condiments/toppings: red pepper hummus, eggplant dip, pickled onions, cabbage slaw, tomato & cucumber, feta cheese, pita chips and yogurt dill sauce. I love it!

We visited this location and had a business meeting, the manager was comical and helpful! Our food was delicious, will be back again!

    Harissa Avocado Bowl

I've tried nearly every bowl on CAVA's menu and the Harissa Avocado Bowl is the one I keep coming back to. The spicy harissa-honey chicken pairs perfectly with the coolness of the avocado and the lemony hummus--it's a flavor roller-coaster that somehow stays balanced. Portion size is generous (I'm always full but never weighed down), and the toppings are super fresh; the pickled onions and crunchy pita crisps add great texture. Pro tip: ask for a drizzle of extra garlic dressing if you like a little zing. Service at this location was fast--my order was ready in under five minutes during the lunch rush--and the staff double-checked allergies without me asking. Clean dining area, plenty of parking, and easy mobile pickup shelves if you're in a hurry. If you enjoy bold Mediterranean flavors with a spicy kick, this bowl is a must-try. I'm already plotting my next visit!

The serving size is disappointing for the price.

The serving size is disappointing for the price paid. Will not spend my money here again.

This was a great place for a healthy and highly customizable meal. There are also preset bowls if you would prefer that as well. I opted for customizing my own bowl that also came with a pita bread. I chose half brown rice and supergreens for my grains. For dips/sauces, I got the tzatziki and roasted eggplant. I chose the fire roasted corn, tomato & onion, pita crisps, shredded romaine lettuce, and the pita crisps. I then topped it off with the lemon herb tahini dressing. Overall, I was very delighted by my choices and the flavors were amazing with every bite. The portion size was also very super filling. The service was fairly good. The staff were patient with me and let me take my time to look at the menu before choosing what I desired as it was my first time dining in. The establishment is fairly spacious with both indoor and outdoor seating.

Food:5/5 Service:2/5 I've held this in long enough so I just want to share my experience. Cava, why oh WHY do you offer free pita bread if almost 85% of the time your employees don't even offer it to the customers?!?!? I can't tell you how many times I've visited your store and was never even offered the pita bread. Additionally, if a customer orders Cava for delivery on any app and requests the free pita bread via a selection in the app... well, expect to not receive it. Just like me. Imho why even offer it then? People love your pita bread but repetitive false promises are just disheartening. That's it for now.

+Good fresh food. +Sauces were flavorful. +Quick service -Seeming impatient workers when I was deciding what to put in my bowl. -No white chicken available. -No beef. I will return because it was sooo delish and flavorful.

Discarded food and garbage. Dirty dinning area. Gross.

Update... business reached out and is taking measures to fix the problem. I say give them a chance.. as they are responding to their customers. Eating on Saturday night at 1900. Not extremely busy. Dinning area was dirt, floor and tables. Every table top had food and smears on it. The floor was littered with food and discarded napkins etc. The food servers were friendly, however they did not have many of the toppings available. Ordered a meatball pita... no meatballs. Waited for them to cook some. Service is usually pretty good. However today it was slow and dirty. Hope it is not a trend. Dissatisfied and disappointed.

    Harissa Chicken Bowl

I LOOOVVVEEEE me some Cava!! They never miss!! The food is always fresh and they give really good portions! I ordered the Harissa Chicken Bowl. You build your bowl your liking. I do half Super Greens and rice with: Tzatziki, Harissa chicken, cabbage, pickled onion, tomato, cucumber, crumbled, feta, and avocado. This bowl can literally give you 2 to 3 servings, depending on how hungry you are! Always get their freshly made drinks. This time I got Pineapple Apple Mint! So freaking and tasty!! I wish they would put one of these establishments in New Orleans!!!

Yum! I'm still dreaming about the last dish I had here. CAVA is a casual Mediterranean restaurant where you can order pre set bowls/wraps or create your own bowls assembly line style. It's similar to poke or build your own burrito bowl places. I've only ever done the build your own bowl option, and the bowls I've had were delicious! I tried the harissa chicken and the grilled chicken, and while the harissa version had slightly more flavor, the rest of the bowl was so flavorful it honestly didn't make a huge difference. I liked the super greens mix, but be aware there are some crunchier things in there like raw Brussels sprouts slices. The saffron rice didn't have much saffron flavor to me but was cooked well. The eggplant, crazy feta, hummus, and harissa were all yummy. My favorites were the eggplant and crazy feta! The toppings all tasted fresh, and they had a nice variety. I appreciated that they were generous with the toppings too! The side of free pita bread was a bit small but did the job. My favorite out of the dressings I tried was the Greek vinaigrette. The bowls are reasonably priced, and the employees at this location were very friendly. There was a good amount of seating, the tables were clean, and they had easy parking in front of the restaurant.

Nice atmosphere and just off Pearland Pkwy so easy to get to, and we had a pretty nice/helpful waitress to boot. The recipes were generally fine enough, though wouldn't recommend the lentil soup (very odd flavor for a Greek place). BUT. You may have left the restaurant a little hungry before - maybe you were especially famished walking in, or shared a little too much with your family. But have you ever ordered a side of potatoes and gotten...three slices (and a nub, thrown in as an afterthought)? I guess this is for the discerning customer who wanted the side, but not really? Thanks for making that discerning choice for me! Or maybe for someone that wanted that child-sized taster portion of potatoes. Oh but wait! For 5 bucks, you TOO can get "8 oz" of spuds in all its starchy glory. It's a shame - the fry job is done well. But given the midget handful of greens on the Opa bowl, I guess the economy is rough on all of us. Seriously guys, I don't think it used to be this bad guys. Fix your portions or fix your prices, sheesh.

Since we were in the area that day, we made a point to stop at this Wrap & Roll location to make sure it was not a fluke. And by golly, it was exactly what we hoped for! First, the portion sizes are huge as each noodle dish can feed 2-3 people. So unless you brought your appetite, you'll be needing a togo container. Main reason it's so large is because it's packed with protein. Second, the menu has a variety of items ranging from tacos/quesadillas to sandwiches, to noodles/rice, to chicken wings; so there's something for everyone here. And third, the flavors/taste of the eats. The combination fried udon is packed with shrimp/chicken/filet and all the meats are tender along with the noodles and veggies with this sweet/sour/spicy flavor that will knock out your taste buds. From what I read, all the noodle/rice dishes are similar to this. I also saw someone get the quesadilla which was huge and they immediately went silent when eating it cause they couldn't stop stuffing it in their mouth. There's no doubt I plan to return and I hope they expand closer to our neck of the woods in the Heights area. That's a wrap cause they're on a roll!

The inside was kind of mushy, but it did have a hint of yuzu sauce, which made it tolerable. Next, I tried the gumbo with cornbread, and the cornbread with the gumbo was a game changer. It definitely kicked it up a notch. The gumbo didn't have very strong flavors like other gumbos, but I still enjoyed it. Then I tried the fish and chips. First off, we feel like this location needs a bit of a deep cleaning and/or renovation. My husband and I were joking about the "sketchiness of the cleanliness" as we were pulling it. Joking they "toe the line" of "should we eat here or not?" Secondly, I ALWAYS get the salad bar. Always. The items haven't been fresh here. The biggest culprit has been the artichokes. I usually put a big ol' mound on my salad. The last 2x they have been FIZZY... which lends me to believe they are topping off old items with fresh items and it's never getting changed out/is old/fermenting. This particular visit, in addition to the fizzy artichokes, the sliced red bell pepper tasted off and the romaine lettuce was brown. (Sigh). I hope my salad stays down. My husband enjoyed his New York Yankee and luckily, this visit they correctly subbed his chips for "steamed veggies" like he asked. Last visit he asked for "steamed broccoli" and unknowingly the guy rang him up for a cup of broccoli cheese soup for an additional $5... we never went back up to get our money back and my husband didn't eat the soup. The kids always enjoy their meals: usually cheese pizza or pasta with meatballs and marinara. Then they gobble up ungodly amounts of the free ice cream. Today's visit, for whatever reason, the ice cream was extra "soupy" and so runny it couldn't even be put on a cone. The highlight was the girl at the register was friendly. It's getting to be hard to want to come back to this location. Might have to only treat ourselves to Jason's when we're out in Webster.
