I recently had the pleasure of visiting Cava and was blown away by the service provided by the employee, Alex. From the moment I walked in the door, Alex was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. He answered all of my questions and made great recommendations for my meal. His cheerful and professional demeanor made my dining experience truly enjoyable. I was especially impressed with how Alex went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. He refilled my drink without me even having to ask and made sure my food was cooked to perfection. It was clear that he takes pride in his work and genuinely cares about providing excellent service to his customers. After trying out the local CAVA near me, I decided to try it again, but on the way home at this location! The service was very helpful and quick and we were able to get our bowls within 5 minutes, even with a full line. The dining area is a good size, but needed some cleaning of the tables, as we were not able to find a clean surface, but that's fine. The bowls themselves were delicious. My bowl included super greens, brown rice, red pepper hummus, harissa, tzatziki, grilled chicken, roasted sweet potato, tomato and cucumber, Persian cucumbers, red onion, roasted corn, crumbled feta, balsamic date dressing, and yogurt dill. One of my favorite grab and go food places! You can customize a bowl or pita option with different meats, grains and greens, veggies and some really good dip and dressing options. Their Harissa Honey Chicken is so yummy and worth the extra charge. I always choose Cava if I'm feeling lazy but still want to grab a healthy and delicious meal. The only con is that wait times at their locations during peak hours are pretty long. This time coming here, it took around 15-20 minutes to get to the front of the line. It usually is hectic during lunch and dinner hours but a great tip is to download their app for easy online ordering and you can stack up rewards points! read more

GREAT GREAT VISIT. I've been to several cavas around the OC area, but today was just astonishing. Best visit overall I've experienced at any restaurant. Manager on visit vivana was her name was so helpful and upmost very friendly. I was saddened to hear the balsamic date chicken bowl was out of the menu but she went above and beyond and walked me through every ingredient it originally had. This eclipse drove me to this location and I and glad my intuition led me to great food. Overall a 10/10 the ambiance was just so pleasant. Love Cava so much This was my third time at this Del Mar location and all three times, the staff packed my bowl so much that I could only eat half and had to finish the rest during another meal. Everything was fresh, healthy, and delicious. I did not get them this time, but their lemonades are also very good and refreshing! I highly recommend trying the Skhug sauce! It is herby, full of spices, and has a very light kick to it. I got it on accident one time and found it to be surprisingly delicious, so I have been getting it ever since. read more

I am still learning the menu and wasn't sure what to choose for my bowl. The girl who was taking my order, Ashley, was very patient and made some bomb suggestions. My bowl tasted amazing and serving size was very generous! I recommend this place. The food tastes fresh and the assortment of sauces and dips provides a lot of options for flavor. I went to Cava for my 2nd time within one week, all I can say is OMG!!! The food here is incredible and so fresh! Both times I got the "build it" with greens + grains, the first time I had braised lamb and the 2nd time I went with 1/2 falafel 1/2 roasted vegetables. I will definitely be a repeat customer! Great place to go to if you have all day to wait. Curbside pick up is absolutely pointless you'll be sitting in your car for longer than you could ever imagine.
