We opted for the cilantro jalapeño hummus with pita chips & it was not your ordinary hummus. Savory, creamy & packed with flavor, it had just the right hint of spice to keep things interesting. The restaurant was just under half full. We were given a choice of tables and chose a table just a bit closer to the back, as it was a bit chilly to eat outside and the front area didn't give us as much space. We were seated, given water and menus, and were greeted by our server. The menu was vast and took a long time to study.There were several traditional Greek items on the menu, as well as many less traditional items. I enjoy ouzo and wondered if there were any ouzo cocktails. Our server told us about the Cucumber Ouzito, which was a take on a mojito. We each ordered one, as well as the saganaki (flaming Greek cheese) to start. Our drinks and cheese were brought out. The food runner who brought the cheese was friendly and joked with us when we all yelled "Opa" with the flames. The ouzo gave the mojito drink a fun kick. Unfortunately, out server didn't return. We were sitting for a long time, so much that we joked about leaving to get our main course elsewhere. We had pretty much finished the drinks and cheese and hadn't even ordered yet, not to mention that I also had questions about the menu that I hadn't had the opportunity to ask. I finally caught a food runner and requested he bring our server, which he did. After a few questions, I found that the meze of the day was taramsalata ( a salted roe spread that I love). I ordered that along with the octopus. My husband ordered the stuffed salmon. Luckily, after that, the food did not take too long to come out. The taramasalata was good, but not great. I'm used to it having a bit softer texture, which is perhaps a personal preference. The octopus was pretty bad... chewy and had a flavor I didn't care for. The stuffed salmon was stuffed with white cheese and spinach and was quite good. The salmon was well-cooked. All in all, the restaurant is beautiful. Our service that night started off great, but then dwindled. The food we had was hit or miss. I would probably not return to meze, and instead go to a more traditional Greek restaurant with more reliable food and service.

The meat is seasoned so well, with Greek oregano, garlic, thyme, and olive oil, plus lemon juice, black pepper, onion powder, and rosemary layered in for extra depth. You can taste all of it. The tzatziki sauce is the real star here -- cool, tangy, and generous, it brings the whole wrap together in the best way. Add in the fresh crunch of tomatoes and lettuce, and every bite has this great mix of textures and flavors. Service was friendly and quick, parking was a breeze, and the price felt like such great value for how much flavor you're getting. The day was a mix of clouds and sun so it ended up still being nice weather . The drive out there was not that crowded so that was a good thing. I was able to find parking up front so we would not have to walk so far. We paid our respects and left and needed something to eat for an early dinner. I did note that there is a lot of nice traditional Greek music playing in the background like the other Yelper indicated.
