It will definitely be the last time we eat here. The pizza was cold, wet and soggy at the bottom. I ended up eating a couple of pieces around the sides, closer to the crust where it wasn't wet gross bread. My first bite I said to my husband "This tastes like Red Baron pizza." I highly do not recommend the pizza. I've had the lettuce wraps while hanging out at Odd Sides and they were delicious! The service was honestly also not great. She was friendly enough, but being attentive to guests was not trained into any of the servers working the outdoor seating area. We were one of 3 tables outside, so they were not busy. I can understand, and have total empathy for, being a server in weeds so deep it's hard to get drinks re-ordered (been there done that), but today was not the case. At one point there were 5 servers/hostess standing around the hostess stand while our drinks were empty. Wild. I saw what looked like a manger walking in the area twice (not near us) and at one point another server was talking on her phone while walking through the outdoor dining area, telling the person on the other line "I'm still at work." Physically yes, mentally no. I can't help but feel like the cold wet pizza I was less of a kitchen issue than a service issue. The outdoor patio dining area is probably one of the most tired looking on the street of downtown Grand Haven with chipped paint on stools and old umbrellas (what few there were). Kirby used to be a destination in Grand Haven for their food, service and wood fired pizzas. I'm sad about what it's become now. I'd recommend go elsewhere. There are so many great places for eats and drinks that you can pass on Kirby House. I'm holding out hope for a big comeback for this place!

The 5 regular margaritas total and the food totaled to be $81 between 4 people. Regular Margarita: 9/10 - perfect mix, served in a 12oz plastic cup. Felt like the cup was filled halfway with ice before liquids were poured. I had over a quarter of a cup of icecubes left after 40 minutes of dining. Beef nachos: 8/10 - $17 - feel like there was one ingredient missing. There was queso, pico de gallo, lettuce, peppers, jalapeño and got the protein choice of beef. (Protein choices - beef, chicken or pork) Tempura Shrimp: 7/10 - $22 - Tasted like a japanese hibachi restaurant. The flavors took me home, especially with the picked diced cucumber.
