Excellent sashimi. Friendly waitstaff. Came after work after hearing about the all you can eat menu. The salmon, squid, and flying fish roe was so fresh! Definitely surpassed expectations. We also sampled a few rolls, of which we liked the west Chester roll the best. While I think it is very fair pricing, each of us had one roll we did not enjoy, and had a couple leftover pieces bc we could not force ourselves to eat it (I had half a shrimp tempura roll and my partner had 2/3 of the foxboro roll), and they charged us for that, even though we had no other waste and it wasn't eaten Bc it wasn't good!! Ok good first impressions but I was there for the taste! And from the jump this place did not disappoint. The hot and sour soup was a bit spicy and served super hot. The Crab Rangoons were the bomb and the Pork Dumplings were perfectly steamed. Ok- ok- And then the Sushi came. The rolls I ordered were served to me and the rolls my nephew ordered were served to him. No sharing the sushi plate!! This totally gets tons of brownie points. Not to mention this was the same sushi that I order from any Sushi restaurant- with a great proportion of rice to filling. 9 rolls and plenty of apps later we were ready for the bill. I hate to leave a bad review but this sushi is not good. I would rather eat sushi that's been sitting in the grocery store. Along with a few other items we got 3 spicy tuna rolls, pictured. However, since I saw a man almost get honor killed by the chef, it's worth mentioning that you DO NOT want to mess up your sushi order and proceed to have it amended! True story. Guy ordered 36pcs of the same roll bc he failed to read the menu instructions. Pretty hilarious interaction to watch go down. Especially when the chef cussed at him and ended all conversation. In other news, I really like this spot. Albeit, I leave in a world of regret every time, it's worth it. I'm not a fan of their 'spicy' rolls bc they have a strange bright red color and are minced, but all others are great! Highest recommendation on the smoked salmon sashimi!! SO GOOD! I was expecting better honestly. For $25, the all you can eat sushi rolls that I got had an odd flavor. At first, I thought it was maybe the tempura, as I started with a spider roll, but even the flying fish roe nigiri had it. It wasn't necessarily bad fish, but like a smoked or burnt flavor. Some of the rolls had very little fish and lots of avocado, too, which was disappointing. I really couldn't taste any eel in one of the rolls. This place is so unprofessional and if you think you can spend a family night there think twice. They will not be making your food on time and the owner is not understandable at all. After 2 long hours we decided to leave and he charge full price for the apps. As we left I saw not much was made and there was only 5 rolls was made for our 20 people party ?? We got there at 7pm and 930pm still nothing. They close at 930. will never go back and he just lost so many customers from this. We were regulars at one point but not anymore. We were patient as possible but the fact that the owner yelled back at us. Honesty I don't even want to eat sushi anymore because of this place. It's a understatement how bad the owner is. After we left he started laughing with other customers making it seems like it's our fault ? If you can't make sushi for a big party please don't even try to take us in. He misgendered my girlfriend several times, and we were going to let it go because he seemed polite. However when it came time to get the bill he yelled at my girlfriend for not giving a "good" enough tip. He asked her "are you joking? I was a bit in the fence after seeing a lot of the recent reviews about this place and how the chef/ owner comes and literally yells at customers. I have been to several all you can eat sushi places, and this was probably the nicest one I've been to. My best advice would be to avoid all you can eat sushi at all costs. The food liquified both my girlfriends and my bowels while we were still in the restaurant. Than the head chef actually did come out while my girlfriend was in the bathroom and just made really unpleasant conversation asking if we planned to eat more and if we were finishing our food. Recently visited for about the 3rd time. Past times I have had no issues, however this time we were harassed by the chief and worker.We were eating the all you can eat for $30. One whole roll we ordered smelled and tasted sour, we tried to say it wasn't okay and they told us we would still have to pay for it (which was not an issue). We put it on a side plate and was accused of "stealing" even though we still had a full meal to eat and was not planning on ordering seconds. After my meal I used the restroom and was then accused of taking sushi to the bathroom. When we got the bill they automatically added a 15% tip when there was only 3 people at the table. Added gratuity was never on my past checks there and when we asked the chef about the added gratuity he made a scene and screamed at us when we asked where the added gratuity was. Everyone was super friendly and very attentive, even though I was just picking up a take-out order. We ordered Crab Rangoon which was stuffed with cream cheese and crab it was delicious and super crunchy even after a 10 minute drive. The California Roll was very refreshing, We also ordered a chicken tempura and sweet potato roll, easy rolls I know, but this was our first time trying anything so we kept the order simple.
