Amazing all you can eat sushi! The restaurant is small but allows the experience to feel more personal. The server was pleasant and insightful. You can pick up to 4 rolls at a time, appetizers, and single sashimi's. 4 rolls and some appetizers should be plenty speaking form experience. The price is fair for the quality and amount of the food. The spicy yellow fish roll, TNT roll, ell roll, and crab Rangoons were my favorite.

Awesome unlimited sushi! Great selections and fast and friendly service. Sitting area is mostly booths but I loved everything I ordered. Tempura shrimp and the fried dumplings were delicious. Make sure you finish all your sushi so you don't face a charge at the end. I will love to go back.

Their sushi is rolled in the absolute maximum amount of rice. After complaining they switched it out. When the bill came I had a $30 extra charge. So I mention it to the wait staff she said I'll go get the manager. Manager comes and tells me to pay what's on the bill or he calls the police.... Salmon tasted old and warm Fluke was chewy and had a funky smell. Last time I eat here.

Our son invited us since he is a sushi lover; I was very impressed with how good the sushi/rolls were, really good place. Service was very friendly and the place looks well maintained. Definitely going back!!!

The sushi is really rich in flavor not only that but it was a vast variety of different types to try. The waiter was really sweet and came out with the food pretty quick. The ambiance was nice and relaxing, the dim lighting allowed and chill mood. In addition it's very affordable for the amount of food

TLDR: A very fulfilling and diverse All-You-Can-Eat sushi dinner for $35 w/ tip. Relatively long wait before sushi gets on the table, but the quality is great. Service can be hit or miss depending on time and table size. Came with a handful of friends on a weekday night, so there wasn't a big crowd, but still several tables. Cayenne gave a slightly shady first impression, but it wasn't that bad once we sat down and started getting food. The AYCE comes in rounds - you check what you want for each round, and they will get it to the table, giving you and the restaurant a chance to pace yourself. However, each leftover piece is charged $1: sashimi, sushi, nigiri, or whatnot. The owners keep a close eye on that, so definitely avoid overordering off the bat. The wait between appetizers and the sushi can be overbearing (~45 min), but it makes sense: There are only a handful of sushi chefs, and they present everything you order per round at the same time on a single plate, regardless of how much or how little you order for yourself. I personally liked the nigiri/sashimi here better than the sushi rolls. I enjoyed their scallion pancakes as well. Most of what we ordered here was fantastic, so try as much as possible without leaving any leftovers!

Honestly, this wasn't close to the best sushi I've had, but definitely wasn't expecting it. For $27 each person, it was All You Can Eat, and while better quality fish would be nice, it was really just for volume. At some point, the fish tasted very bland and was just mushy with no distinct flavor. As a friend said when suggesting this to place - it's great for getting full, not a place to go as a first date or celebrating an important occasion. It's a little run down and was pretty empty through the evening, but because of that the food came out relatively quickly and we were able to eat plenty.

Waited over an hour after being seated for our first and only round of all you can eat last night along with many other tables. Charged full price + auto gratuity of 15%. Will not be coming back.

Cayenne sushi is an awesome spot for all you can eat sushi! It's located in a strip mall off of a main road in Johnston in what used to be a D'Angelos. The interior is nothing to write home about but you don't come to an AYCE spot for the ambiance. The price is right here and the sushi is even better than expected. It always tastes fresh and the specialty rolls are bomb. Favorites include tuna extreme, special rainbow, Johnston roll, elegant roll, and TNT roll. The restaurant can get a bit busy on weekends so I recommend if you are with a bigger group to try and place your order in one complete round rather than doing multiple small rounds otherwise you may be waiting a while for your food to come out. The waitress is a total sweetheart here and knows the regulars. She works so hard and we always are happy to see her. I've taken off one star due to the sometimes slow service when busy and the sushi chef. He has always been pleasant to our groups but on a few occasions we have witnessed the behavior mentioned in other reviews such as coming out to speak with groups about how much they ordered or cutting them off from ordering. So just beware of that and the potential slower service but other than that you are in for a treat!

Is Sushi Madness and Cayenne Sushi affiliated with each other? (They have the exact same ACYE Sushi menu and pricing)

Not 100% sure but I do think you are correct. I've been to both and they are very similar.

My apartment is 10 minutes away and I barely made it home as I almost had to dig in because it was making my car smell so good. The chicken was very juicy and everything else was just as delicious, especially the little sauce that they provided. Amidst being fresh and brightly colored, the dish was quite bland overall. I begged for some elevated heat and flavor profiles-- it definitely fell short and was not spicy in the least. And I'm not a fan of a grease soaked platter... maybe it settled while I drove home but I definitely mopped up oil with a napkin/strained. No bueno. *Sidebar: They have a delicious green sauce that was really tasty and quite frankly saved the dish. I opted for this in place of a sweet Chili Glaze sauce that is provided because I hate sweet flavor profiles in all things dinner! Lol MVP: A wonderfully kind and efficient staff... the order was complete, error free, prepared timely and everyone was very friendly. The best item I purchased was the SANGRIA topped with fresh pineapple! Not the food-- it was all about their in-house beverages. Unfortunately, the set up is almost buffet like with add ons (I paid extra for Pico de Gallo... this also elevated the dish. With the sauce I selected and the pico, the dish literally would have been as bland as a cardboard sandwich). Perhaps it's me-- my palette is pretty elevated and I love heat. Peruvian dishes aren't exactly known for bombastic flavors, spice and heat... but the crowd and utter lack of parking got me excited. Will I return? Perhaps... definitely for a different item (perhaps the roasted chicken everyone was eagerly ordering) and it's a must on the sangria option! But $32.90 for a very basic fried rice mixed with lo mein moment + salad (I tipped $3 amidst to go).... Nah. I'd be lying if I said it was worth it. Lovely aesthetic and energy, however. Chef's energy on the food though was a miss.... Season! The! Food! Sir!

They do have a menu - takeout or dine in (few tables but the space is small) and they also have cafeteria style prepared foods that you can peruse. Located on Reservoir near the Cranston line, there is a small parking lot next to the storefront and some street parking as well. I called in an order for Chicken Mee Ka Tang (Cantonese Noodles), Beef Pho, Cold Cut banh mi, Lort (Cambodian eggrolls) and a Vietnamese coffee for the mister. When we got there I was enticed by the offerings and got a small container of the braised pork and eggs and stuffed bitter melon (don't knock it people, it is an acquired taste, lol). We really enjoyed everything we had but our faves were the banh mi (great flavor and didn't skimp on the meats at all!) and the Mee Ka Tang - it did have a bit more gravy than I'm used to but really great flavors - add a little bit of chili oil or sriracha and chefs kiss! The pork and eggs were a tad bit too sweet and pork was tougher than I'd like other than that, everything was delicious. Service was super quick and food was ready as promised. We didn't have to wait for it at all which I can appreciate! Looking forward to returning to this mom and pop shop!! Can't wait to come back!

I walked into a space that is small and moody, the kind of room that feels lived in rather than designed for a particular aesthetic, and it suited the casual neighborhood feel of the surrounding area. The hot stone bibimbap is the dish that comes up most consistently and with the most enthusiasm. I ordered it and the stone bowl arrived sizzling. The rice along the bottom edges got crispy against the heat in a way that changed the texture and flavor of the whole dish as I ate through it. The beef and mushroom tofu versions are both well executed, and the egg on top finished the bowl correctly. The katsu is a solid option for anyone coming in looking for something more straightforward. I tried it and the breading was crispy while the cutlet inside stayed tender, and the sauce ratio was handled well rather than drowning what was underneath. The gyoza, japchae, seafood pancakes, and yaki soba fill out a menu that covers enough ground to satisfy a table with different preferences. Side dishes are served in modest portions, which was the main point of friction for me since I am used to more generous banchan. Food came out at a good pace and arrived hot. For Korean and Japanese comfort food in Providence, Den Den is a reliable and genuinely satisfying stop.

We were sadly in a rush and had to be out by a certain time to catch a show, and our server understood the assignment and got us out on the tight schedule we needed. I'm just sad I had to slurp down my soup so quickly as it was absolutely DELICIOUS! I ordered the Snow Mountain Ramen - the creamy tofu broth is unlike anything I've had and was so so unique and delicious. I thought about it for at least a week straight after eating it and am still dying to go back to get more. I also got the Iced Rose Matcha drink - $10 felt too pricy for this but I wanted a fun drink and a little caffeine kick - and again the flavors were unique and tasty. Both my friend and I happened to see someone we knew here - it's definitely a popular spot! It was packed on a Saturday night but it was still pretty quick for us to get a table for 2. Being a downtown city restaurant, the tables feel a bit cramped and I was a little too close to the table next to me for comfort - claustrophobics beware (honestly the soup is worth it though!!) Parking is pretty easy in the lot, although Holy crap they need to fix the potholes / harsh drop-off where it meets the street, and it still was not fully plowed many weeks after the big snowstorm (it's a shared lot so not a Y Noodle specific issue, but just saying). The only thing that was unpleasant were the bathrooms - I get it was a busy weekend night, but they reeked of a litter box the second you stepped in, the floor was dirty and very wet with unknown substances, and the Dyson hand dryer is at such a weird, too high level on the wall that it sprayed water in my face. Everything else was a dream, can't wait to go back! Hopefully the bathrooms were just a fluke.
