I look for excuses to have a crepe at Whipped Bites. The ingredients are always fresh and it seems expertly chosen and prepared. It's a new favorite breakfast spot that has me reframing my Sunday mornings with "will it be sweet or will it be savory?" Everytime I sit to have a bite, I wind up having a moment. Last time it was lazily reading the TRT in the morning sun while nursing the perfect cup of coffee and a petite strawberry shortcake cupcake with Fur Elise playing in the background... yeah, that kind of moment. A perfect place for an afternoon coffee and desert. The crepes were delicious, with Nutella and fresh berries inside and out. The staff was helpful and friendly, and the music relaxing. We were drawn in by the thought of a fresh french - pressed cup of coffee, and we're not dissapointed. I'm looking forward to returning in the future. read more

Friendly, attentive, accommodating staff. I love that they have a GF option!!! It's so hard having Celiac Disease. And, the staff always cleans the pan before they make my crepe. I get the classic & it's enough to split with my bf. The serving is excellent. Also, sometimes GF grains taste terrible & better if you DIY. NOT the case here. They use a delicious buckwheat which they masterfully balance with chocolate, banana, strawberry & nutella. Highly recommend for a date night--it's date night kind of food. My FAVORITE dessert spot in NJ. However, I wish they had more seating! Hopefully, in the future they will? We had the Chicken Pesto crepe and the Funfetti Waffle with Nutella and vanilla Gelato. The Waffle was incredibly light and fluffy, with crispy edges and a soft center. The crepe was extremely soft as well, and they had an incredible Pesto spread. I'd rate the just a bit better than the crepe but both were incredible. read more

Ok so I loved this place the food is amazing. I bought a 10 dollar crepe and paid with a 20. The guy gave me 20 back. The nice person I am, i go back in and say something. The workers say "oh" and dont even thank me. Being a highschool girl I did not have to do the right thing. A mom and pop shop can not handle basically giving away a free crepe so your welcome. I go to school with 1000+ people that attend Red Bank daily. I cant wait to tell everyone to stop going to your place. Also when I walked back in to tell them they gave us a dirty look. Along with that, as soon as I got to the place from the start they were rude and made us sit down and we didn't want too. The tables were dirty and had no silverware. My friend ate with her hand at first. So someone was getting pulled over outside and they all went out to look, leaving the place unattended. After today, i am not going back. This is not how to treat a customer. Learn some common sense!!! read more

Whipped is hands down my favorite dessert place in Red Bank. And that's saying a lot for how many dessert places are in RB. My sister and I drive all the way here for a crepe all the time lol. The cookies n cream is my favorite she gets Nutella with fruit. They're just so fresh and so good. The place is always clean and perfect. read more

For the life of me, I can't figure out why people aren't standing on the street corners of Red Bank singing about this place! Completely lived up to my expectations. I've visited Whipped more than once since they've opened and all I can say is YUM! I love the bite size cupcakes and the decor of the store is just adorable! I will be back again and again to visit the friendly and helpful staff and enjoy all that whipped has to offer, including the delicious coffee and crepes. I really wanted to love it. It was a cute store front, cute and clean store and the staff was very very nice, but the crepes were really not crepes. You know, those delicate, eggy, buttery french crepes. They definitely were more americanized, tasting more like thin pancakes than anything. The fillings are too sweet too, not for my taste. And I have a sweet tooth! Ive had the apple pie crepe and the crepe suzette (which is so simple I was surprised that it wasn't what I thought it'd be) and both were pancake-y like batter and too sweet. The suzette (which is like an orange marmalade on the inside) was definitely from a can. Just cloyingly sweet and not that great. The apple pie one was slightly better, they did have a nice serving of pie in there, but it was most definitely canned apple pie filling and not in house made caramel. Nothing wrong with not real homemade caramel, just was expecting something a little better. So overall, not very excited to go back, still wishing hopefully it'll be better if I ever do. read more

I'll start out by saying I will be back. The decor is adorable and the staff is delightful. The menu is huge and we had a hard time choosing. I gave 3 stars bc we ordered 4 breakfast items and only 1 would I order again. The French toast was blah. It was missing the French and more like toast. Dry, flavorless, and needed to be drenched in syrup. Where was the egg mixture it should be dipped in? The galette was the most disappointing. A cold crepe lined with ham and then a fried egg thrown on top with the edges folded in. It was flavorless and barely warm. Nothing holding it together. I threw the side salad on top and folded it into a wrap sandwich. Not a galette. The potato hash brown was ok, but dry. It needed some sort of fancy French dipping sauce. Garlic aioli or something? Not ketchup. The winner of the morning...truffle egg skillet! Hot and flavorful. Breakfast is served all day, so you can get this anytime. Hopefully out next visit we can pick 4 winners and five stars. read more

When I got in there the only seats were at the high top bar in the window and it was so extremely hot in there. We tried to pull the shades down because the sun was blaring in our eyes and the employees sat and watched as we couldn't get them down rather than asking if we needed a hand. We ordered 3 waters and they never came. Finally after a half hour our food came and no utensils. Took about another 5 minutes to get those. Food was good but I seem to always be waiting over 20 minutes for a waffle, even on the slow days. Definitely a little pricey for a waffle. read more

My spouse and I have been dining at different ice cream places all over Monmouth County for years. We live in Red Bank and decided to go to a local place for our ice cream night. Luigi's was out of chocolate chip mint (fail!) so we walked around the corner and decided to give Whipped a try. BAD decision! The ice cream portion was SO meager it was less than HALF the size of other places we frequent. I felt like saying to the girl "Geez, can you spare it?!" Seriously, I'm not exaggerating - that cup was gone in a few bites. It was nowhere near the generous portions we're used to getting in Hoffman's, Strollo's, DQ, Carvel, Crazees, and many more. And the few icy morsels we ate were not that good. My disappointment was such that I felt compelled to come home and open a Yelp account just so I could warn other ice cream lovers. I'm gonna have to say this place is beast. Always coming here for a good ol creep with good friends. They are quite big so split it with a friend to cut down on calories and make yourself feel good. You won't regret it. Personally my go tos are the CLAASSSSSICCSSS!!!! I love me some banana strawberry and Nutella but nkt always in that chocolate mood. Otherwise a friend mega suggested dolce de Luche something like that order it is Carmel and bananas and other shit that's good. Oh yeah our ice cream was melted but still good and they even offered us free stuff again since it was melted so sweet. Great workers and tipped of course. Just enjoyed a delicious dinner here a few hours ago. To start off, my son and I had the chipwich which is a chocolate chip cookie with cookie butter and chocolate. Afterwards I ordered the chicken pesto which is a savory crepe and it was amazing. Staff was fantastic and welcoming, and on our way out I took a taste of my sons French toast ice cream and I was blow away. Amazing atmosphere, we will definitely be back before the end of the memorial weekend for more crepes and Ice cream, and in the near future! read more
