They serve bread and coffee and bottled refreshments. Main item: Focaccia bread with different ingredients on top. They also sell other sweets: brioche, pie, Frittatas and pasta as well as merch. I I tried the Focaccia with no toppings and the pomodori that had cherry tomato and oregano. I must go back and try their pasta. Still good after a day. I even put cheese on top of the plain Focaccia i had left over and it was delish. Not busy in the morning on a weekday. Good for pick up and to go orders. Friendly and quick staff. Metered parking. Outdoor seating only on the side walk under the umbrellas for shade next to the busy main road. You can watch the cars drive by as you enjoy ur Focaccia and latte.

I'm always on the search for great focaccia and Ceci's has that. I ordered the meatball sandwich with added buratta. It was good. It could have had more salt and the bottom was soggy even though I ate it as soon as it arrived. Mom ordered a veggie sandwich, which I enjoyed more. You can really taste the fresh arugula. My neighbor ordered the pesto bean salad and another salad. I really enjoyed the pesto. We also shared the onion focaccia. That was fantastic. We should have ordered more. Parking can be limited depending on the time of day. The young man at the counter was wonderful.

We stopped into Ceci's Gastronomia and tried the Polpette Al Sugo and the Crudo & Ricotta sandwiches; both were delicious, with really good focaccia and fillings that felt balanced rather than heavy. On my list for next time are the Il Mortazza or the Caponata, and I would also love to come back to try their pastas. If parking in the area were easier and it didn't feel like such a production to get here, I could see myself stopping by a lot more often.

Ordered a couple of things like the frittata, pesto lasagna, and focaccia sandwich. The focaccia sandwich is where it's at - it's filling, fresh and very balanced.

Wanted to find a quick place to stop for lunch while in LA, we heard this spot had an amazing meatball sandwich and opted to try this place given its authentic vibes. Parking is a little difficult, but just going down one of the sides streets is plenty to find some easy spaces. We purchased the sandwich along with their lasagna al ragu as well as their tiramisu for dessert. Both dishes were very fresh and delicious. I particularly liked the lasagna! Our only gripe was the size of the dishes as we were both left pretty hungry afterwards, with both of our entrees totaling around 35$ for the two. Overall, a nice decent place to check out authentic italian cuisine!

I had no idea how important bread is to a sandwich until I came here. I am not sure what kind of crack they put into this bread, but Ceci's is the real deal. We tried the meatball and the mostaza sandwich and both were amazing. Would love to try their pasta dishes, but it would be so tough to stray from their pristine sandwiches

Authentic Italian!! This place is the real deal. The polpette al sugo (meatball focaccia) is my favorite sandwich and they make tasty sweets like bomboloni and sbrisolona, both of which I HIGHLY recommend! The people are friendly, service is great, and street-side ambiance is fun! LA people are sleeping on Ceci's!!!

I've been looking for a good suppli ever since I got back from Rome. I finally found a place with AMAZING Italian food. The shop itself is simple, with a few outdoor seats. The person that took our order was very kind. We tried their meatball sandwich (it has an Italian name on the menu). It was amazing! The focaccia was the right texture too. I am coming back even though I low-key would want to gate-keep this place!

This is such a great little café! I absolutely love their focaccia, in a variety of flavors. They have great desserts, such as Italian donuts, and sandwiches as well. The owner is very friendly and welcoming, everything is made by hand fresh with high-quality ingredients. Prices are fair considering how much effort is put into their products and presented beautifully. They have a bit of outdoor seating and easy street parking. Wonderful local business supporting!

Zucchini alla Parmigiana after we baked it

Heard about this place having the best meatball sandwich (on focaccia) in LA. But we opted for a couple to go dishes since we were in the neighborhood. We purchased the cannelloni with ricotta and spinach entree and the zucchini alla parmigiana. Easy to make hot at home and very delicious. The only disappointment we had was we thought the dishes were a bit on the small side. But I guess that's the price you pay for high quality food. Two entrees cost about $35. It might be nice if a bit of bread was thrown into the take out bag as a surprise. Parking is kind of sparse and the store has a few spaces for seating outside.

Meatball and other random sandwich. Fresh and tasty but small portions in my opinion.

Small restaurant & cafe off a busy street with limited seating on the sidewalk. We ordered two focaccia sandwiches one with meatball and the other I can't remember. Both tasted pretty good and the bread seemed very fresh. The only downside for me was, I thought the portions were too small and pricing was too high. Overall decent experience.

Focaccia Toast with Spicy Marinara - so good!

Wow wow wow, very glad I decided to be hungry while visiting this part of town I don't normally always get to. Italian lunch made by a real Italian?? The owner was incredibly nice and gave me the tour of the whole menu. The homemade focaccia looked so good and I'm such a sucker for it that I ordered a sandwich that was too good. I got the Focaccia Toast accompanied by the spicy marinara - chef's kiss. Enjoyed it out on the sidewalk on some tables surrounded by others - felt like a visit to Europe.

    Cannelloni ., amazing honestly

Best food in town , food from legit chef owner ., bravo cecis , food is consistently great and quick easy .,

Kind of like fast food Chinese food takeout I ordered fried catfish nuggets, the mixture of cabbage and greens, dressing aka stuffing & Black Eyed Peas. And my niece ordered a pineapple drink Which she loved. The complimentary cornbread could've used a lot more seasoning. But my food was yummy. The catfish was soft and I could taste the mealiness grit of the cornmeal. The Black Eyed Peas were flavorful as were the greens. The dressing aka stuffing was forgettable but I'm a Stovetop fan tbh. Like many restaurants, they have had their ups and downs, but they are hanging on. We have bought the Family Special which is no longer a Sunday option, but on other days. We had some friends and family over, so we purchased 2 Family Specials and some extra Corn Muffins. That was plenty for 7 adults and 2 children with a little leftovers. Although, we have had some negative experiences here previously, we still dine there by take-out mostly. The owner does listen to and reads reviews. That doesn't happen every.

Came here on a Friday for dinner around 6:15pm and were seated inside at a table right away. Service was quick, efficient, and friendly. The ambiance was nice, as well. That said, the food did not really live up to the hype. Particularly, the fried chicken was very dry. The baked chicken was quite a bit better, but the cornbread muffins were probably my favorite food item. If in the area, I'd still say this spot is worth checking out if you're curious. Just don't come in with super high expectations. Maybe we caught them on an off night.

The level of authenticity can be felt the moment you walk in. Every patron of the restaurant can be seen expressively enjoying their food. All the food is insanely filling so prepare to take home leftovers. * Beef Links 10/10: A massive, spicy beef sausage on top of a soft & fresh slice of white bread. It can't get any better. It stayed hot throughout my meal & was appreciated so much. That is f***g good. * Cornbread muffins 10/10: DELICIOUSLY served as an appetizer before your meal comes out. Comes fresh & hot with a side of sweet/cinnamon butter. It's perfect. * 8 Pc Wings 10/10: Seriously the best wings I've ever had in my life. Soul food restaurants know exactly how to coat the wings so that they become insanely crispy when fried. That aside, the Hot Honey seasoning was especially flavorful & mouthwatering. *Mac n Cheese 9/10: This is my style Mac. Not too ooey-gooey wet but just a perfect amount of cheese & roux. One point off because it has a smokey taste which just isn't my preference. * Candied Yams 11/10: MY GAWWWD. I'm in heaven. If you like very sweet potato's paired with a perfect buttery cinnamon dressing, then step right up. These are insane. I'm obsessed with that type of thing. *Greens w Turkey 3/10: Was not the biggest fan of this side. The flavor of the turkey overpowered the whole dish. The greens clearly basked with the turkey rather than just being placed together. I couldn't taste the greens, just meat flavoring. * Cabbage 7/10: I love cabbage. This side isn't anything crazy, it's a very simple thing for you to pair with whatever you ordered. Every meal needs one side that rlly holds it down. *Fried Okra 12/10: Seriously, you cannot get soul food without trying fried okra. This is just amazing. Perfectly crispy & delicious.
