Found LaSorted's on a whim and it was so worth it - they serve pizza that's shareable and leaves you completely full! This place does wood-fired pizzas on a fluffy, chewy sourdough crust that honestly hits different from your typical LA pizza spot. You order up at the window, and I appreciate how patient the workers were in answering our questions & taking our order. My friend and I got the Good Boy - house tomato sauce, pepperoni, fresh basil, and burrata finished with Mike's Hot Honey. The sweet and tangy kick from the hot honey against the creamy burrata is such a good combo! My friend and I surprisingly demolished the whole thing and were stuffed. One thing to note - it's takeout only, no seating, so most people eat in their car or take it to go. Parking-wise, there's a small lot in the plaza which is pretty compact (although I came on a Friday night and I didn't have much trouble). I haven't tried many pizza places in LA but this one has a pretty good crust. I got the good boy slice ($6)with pepperoni, hot honey, and burrata. They brush the pizza with this hot honey syrup which adds a nice sweetness to the pizza. I came on a Wednesday night at 7 for a quick pick up but I waited 25 mins for 1 slice of pizza to be reheated. I will say they had a lot of orders before mine and they make them in order. I recommend ordering online before picking up. However I wish that because I was ordering 1 slice that they would tell customers how long the wait would be. Overall the pizza crust was really good. Cute walk up window in a plaza in Silverlake. I wanted a single slice, and the menu is pretty simple. Parking wasn't too bad, pretty limited but I was able to get a spot and saw two people leaving pretty quickly. I ordered a single slice of pepperoni mamba. They don't have any seating but there is a railing with a great view of some cute houses so I ate there and the weather was great! The pizza is very cheese heavy, is pretty thin and crunchy too. As obsessed as I am with Al Antica's Vinaio's Paradiso sandwich, I'm not a fan of K-Town's heinous parking. I saw an ad for LaSorted's and saw that they had a similar sandwich and thought I'd give it a try. I have to say, I was disappointed. It had a very strong, chemical, off-putting taste... like the taste of burnt oil and metal in an oven. The last time I tasted that awful taste, it was when I had pizza from 7/11 (and never had it since). The service was fast and very friendly and it has Dodger vibes and aesthetic. The Burratra slice was also really good -- creamy burrata, fresh basil, and a lighter tomato base that made it feel fresh without being too heavy. The only downside is not having somewhere to sit -- but honestly, eating on my trunk low-key became a vibe. And the crust was great on both slices: good char, chewy, and held up perfect. We came here on a whim and starving coming down from Broadway driving by and remembering watching a Youtube vid of their mortadella sandwich. So, just like everyone these days, I did a donut (just kidding) at the intersection and turned around and found front row street metered parking. The mortadella sandwich is hefty with burrata, slap of pistachio cream and layers of mortadella. What I like about this sandwich is really the focaccia. It's very tasty. Overall a good sandwich and could be for 2 people. I know it's served traditional but it could use some acidity to cut down the saltiness of the mortadella. 4/5 What's better than the sandwich is really the pizza here. The Good Boy has a house sauce, pepperoni, basil and burrata and hot honey drippings. I'm no pizza expert but I thought it's Excellent. 5/5. A plus here is they sell pizza by the slice and there's a dozen or so types to choose from. Great place to hang out and grab a beer whether pregame or not. Bring your Dodger hat. read more

This is for the Chinatown location. Ordered a cheese pizza over the phone. That's right, a plain 'ole cheese pizza. They say it will be ready in about twenty minutes. Five minutes later they call back and say it's ready. Now unless they have a pizza oven that defies the laws of time and space for this type of pizza, that's not possible. We believe they are giving us someone else's cancelled order. Either way we want a fresh one. As expected we get there and we are presented a dry ass pizza that has been sitting around. It didn't even feel hot anymore. We ask if this is fresh and they say, yep. Very disappointing and a real let down as we choked it down with some flat diet coke. Located on Broadway, in Chinatown near Dodgers Stadium, LaSorted's isn't just a "Dodgers Joint"! It's a family friendly (dogs too) kinda of place that everyone wished they had in their own neighborhood. Opened a few years ago by Tommy Brockert, an accomplished photographer and avid consumer of wings and pizza, LaSorted's has the feel of a Dodgers Hangout, mixed together with a little Rock-n-Roll nostalgia. Beside Tommy and his team, the real stars of LaSorted's is the food. Wings are outstanding and come in several flavors. We tried the Garlic Parm, Lemon Pepper (with clarified butter), and Buffalo Lemon Pepper wings and candidly, we couldn't ranked them as they were all very tasty. Good size wings that were seasoned and cooked to perfection. Although I wanted to try the mortadella with pistachio, burrata, pistachio cream on baked focaccia bread sandwich (next time), we elected to try their pizza. Unlike most joints, LaSorted's sells their pizza by the pie or slice, which made it convenient for us to try the pepperoni and Upside Down Mamba. Both slices were terrific, but the Mamba stole the show by its pure simplicity! The tomato sauce on this slice of pie is good enough to eat by itself in a bowl. Tommy sat next to us and shared a bit of his story and how his friends and relatives supported him on his inaugural journey to open LaSorted's. Believe me, it couldn't happen to a nicer individual! No photos for this review, we were too busy eating and having a great time. One of the few pizza spots that live up to the hype. LaSorteds embodies Los Angeles love and Dodgers culture (as it's named after Tommy Lasorta) to the fullest. The restaurant only has a few chairs outside to eat so you're better off ordering ahead of time or delivery. The pizza is freaking amazing! The mamba slice with pepperoni had a perfect undercarriage with a charred crust. The light garlic olive oil drizzle at the end is truly the chefs kiss. The upside down Sicilian slice was surprisingly light and had a great bite and you could taste the quality of the dough. These garlic fries are packed with garlic and Parmesan cheese, they're way better than the ones at dodgers stadium. They also have another location in Chinatown with actual seating.
