Wow. Just wow. Pizzana delivered one of the best dining experiences we've had in Los Angeles. This may very well be the best Neapolitan-style pizza in LA. We ordered the pepperoni pizza and the arugula salad with chicken, and both were outstanding. The chicken deserves special recognition--it was perfectly seasoned, incredibly fresh, and cooked to perfection. Chicken breast is often dry, but this was surprisingly juicy and flavorful. The salad itself was super fresh, and the nuts paired beautifully with the lemon dressing, which may be one of the best salad dressings I've ever had. Honestly, we'd come back just for the salad. As for the pizza, it was exceptional. The sauce was rich and flavorful, and the dough was absolutely incredible--light, airy, and perfectly textured. Every bite reminded us why Pizzana has such a strong reputation. It's an absolute must-try. The service made the experience even better. Our waitress, Niko, was fantastic. She was warm, welcoming, and took the time to explain every dish and answer all of our questions. To top it off, she surprised us with complimentary ice cream, which was such a thoughtful touch. The wine was also excellent. I enjoyed the Fèlsina Chianti from Tuscany, with beautiful notes of wild berries, black currant, and rose petal that paired wonderfully with the meal. The pizzas are very flavorful. I love the chewy, thin crust. Prices and portion sizes were reasonable. Service was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was cozy and comfortable. I would like to have given 5 stars except for the following reasons: - My place setting (plate, glass cup, fork) that had stuck-on food; - Front door reflects the sun blindingly whenever a customer enters/exits restaurant when seated facing the door. Recommend tinting the door or install a screen to diffuse the reflection during sunset; - The A/C vents are directed towards the tables, which can cool down the food pretty fast. The Neapolitan-style pizzas are one of the best in SoCal. Ingredients offered are cultivated and paired with deliciousness in mind. The fresh ingredients shine quite well. Pastas are also prepared with the same attention to detail and won't disappoint. Dining is best here, but I wouldn't have delivery if you're not close to any of their locations. One of the best happy hours around! Weekdays 4-6pm, half off Margaritas (the drink) and Margheritas (the pizza), 25% off antipasti, and half off beer and glasses of wine. You truly cannot beat it in LA. On top of that, all day Wednesdays, they offer half off bottles of wine. The pizza is truly incredible. So fresh and delicious. The inside space is a nice, calm vibe. The food at this place was amazing. The pizza was the closest tasting thing I've had in the US to authentic Italian pizza. From 4-6pm they have happy hour and as a part of that, all margarita pizzas are half off. It works out as a really affordable night out. The service was really nice. Due to it being only a small restaurant the staff were very on top of everything and got everything to the table at a good pace. The overall restaurant ambiance was awesome. It was cosy and relaxing. As for parking, there's paid street parking in front of the restaurant or if you go down the right before the restaurant there is free street parking after 5pm in front of the church/school. read more

But this is already light years ahead of any of my reheating attempts previously with the fewest tradeoffs and compromises. Only down side is that you have to eat it quickly. Wowowow had this Doordash'd last week and it's now going to be one of my top pizza rotations! Ingredients tasted fresh, great sauce to cheese ratio and the dough was perfectly cooked. I will say, we ordered the spinaci pizza and added pepperoni and it was very oily. I would probably try a different combo next time but it still SLAPPED! Surprisingly delicious vegan pizza! I recently joined the Pizzana Cacio Club, which has a ton of monthly rewards. I used my free pizza reward (with $25 purchase) for the Vegan Funghi Pizza. I'm lactose intolerant, so I prefer vegan pizza. It was a very delicious cacio pepe inspired pizza packed with mushrooms. I only wish the dough was crispier. I also had the pappardelle pasta. I wish both the pasta was less al dente and the pasta had more tomato sauce, but overall, it was still delicious! Service was great. tl;dr this neo-Neapolitan pizzeria-wine bar has well-executed pizza fundamentals, although some topping varieties err on the side of too adventurous Nowadays, neo-Neapolitan pizzerias seem to be all the rage, and Pizzana follows in suit. Here, Chef Daniele Uditi's wood-fired Neapolitan pies are decorated with a blend of traditional and ambitious toppings (the signature pizza takes inspiration from cacio e pepe). Pizzana has earned Bib Gourmand recognition from the Michelin Guide, and the brand has expanded to multiple locations across Texas and Southern California. The Silver Lake location is on a busy stretch of Sunset. During the daytime, you might walk right past the baby blue storefront's muted signage. The inside is industrial-chic with quirky Italian decorations. The walls are decked with olive branch wallpaper and large portraits of Italian ingredients against baby blue backgrounds. Backlit exposed lightwood beams pop against the otherwise black ceiling. Dark wooden tables and chairs are pressed up against the upholstered half-booth that runs the perimeter of the restaurant. Shelves of wines, spirits, and cocktail glasses hang between the dining room and the kitchen. Upbeat Italian pop plays unobtrusively around the space. I arrived for an early weekend dinner, and our party of four was seated immediately. We kick off our meal with the Cavoletto di Bruxelles. The dominant flavor was the sweet caramelized shallot vinaigrette, but the apple and pistachio were unmistakable. Across the pizzas, each thin-crusted pie sported a leopard-spotted bottom with an extra-poofy, chewy cornicione. The consensus hit was the Diavola, a zingy red pie highlighted by a lingering heat and a pleasant infusion of honey. Pizzana's Neo Margherita was certainly non-traditional: loaded with cheese and uniquely sprinkled with basil powder, this pie catered more toward the Brooklyn-style lover than the pizza purist. Lastly, the signature Cacio e Pepe pie attempted to elevate the standard white pie with uber-rich Parmigiana crema. However, as the pie cooled, the thick layer of cheese solidified -- which made the pizza flop in more ways than one. Lastly, we shared the pleasantly al dente Pappardelle alla Bolognese, which sported an addictively hearty meat sauce perfect for dipping pizza crusts. The service was efficient throughout the meal, and our bill worked out to ~$150. A solo hungry appetite could probably tackle a single pie, but our party of four took home multiple leftover slices. The pizza ranged from off-putting to very good, and the non-pizza dishes stood their own. While I wouldn't go out of my way to pay Pizzana a second visit, I would recommend it as a crowd-pleasing pizza-wine bar. read more

Had this place on my list to check out for a while. We were in the area and we decided to stop by for dinner without reservation. We got there right around 5pm and they took us in. Service was great. For pizza we had Neo Margherita and Carnivoro, both were amazing. They are known for their dough and tomatoes and yes they nailed it. It's the closest I've had to traditional crust; not cracker-y or cardboard-y. They offer 2 vegan pizzas, but this is the only one I've tried. For once we had easy reservations and we were there on time at 7 PM. The room was dimly lit and the ambience was OK. Nothing out of the ordinary, but it is after all just a pizza place. We ordered two pizzas. One was the carnivora and the other one was the vodka sauce one. Unfortunately , they were not very good. They were not woodfired and Noah, the great manager said that only the flagship location of Pizzana in Brentwood has a woodfired oven which makes a huge difference. He was very gracious and comped one pizza. He also gave us a dessert on the house but altogether I would rather stick to the original location in Brentwood. read more

Yo... absolutely INCREDIBLE, tho I have to add the caveat that based on the items I like the best, one's best bet is to go there in person and sit down for a meal as opposed to ordering delivery. So, assuming you're reading this with the objective of dining out at Pizzana proper, DO IT. I'm salivating thinking of the pepp pizza, the white pizza w WHIPPED RICOTTA THAT MAKES ME DROOL, the broccolini which is by far the best broc dish I've ever had out (assuming it still has the same prep, I'll check and confirm lol), artichoke hearts, and several other apps I unfortunately can't recall right now and it didn't save my dang review the last time I went to check menu real quick. I just need to convey the fact you CANNOT go wrong w any of the apps or small plates, so you get yourself an ideal foursome, pick 2-3 pies to share (can do 1 per person but it's a lot of food if you're not looking to have leftovers), and then as many apps as your stomach will allow- just MAKE SURE THE BROC IS ONE OF THEM.
