I decided to stop by to give this spot a try since it got high reviews on Yelp for their matcha. We arrived around 11:30am on Fourth of July, and there was only one customer inside. I should've known that when there isn't a line, the business is just average at best, especially in SoCal. I'm a big fan of matcha, particularly Pandan Matcha because of its flavor. the drink also came with grass jelly, which I thought was unique. I didn't taste the Pandan and the matcha was very subtle. The KINDEST owner and the service was incredible. The star of the show for me was the panda matcha with the grass jelly. It's so unique and tasty. I love how it's not too sweet yet it wasn't too earthy tasting either. If you have someone who doesn't like coffee or matcha their yogurt drinks are also done exceptionally well. I tried their strawberry but I can't wait to try the other flavors. The interior is really aesthetic. There's so many good photo op places but it's honestly just really nice to look at while sitting down and drinking your drinks (or eating a croffle). The bacon and corn croffle was the best. Such a great new cafe that opened not too long ago! Love how much variety the menu has so there is definitely something for everyone. I'm a matcha lover and this was honestly so good! the pictures on yelp for vsoul's matcha is legit and that green! the price is with taxes included so what you see on the menu is what you pay for. i got the double matcha and i can def taste the matcha but for some reason, it tasted like mung bean matcha rather than just a double matcha. the drink does come with a lot of ice for warning. i would def come back and try their other matcha options whenever i'm in the area :) read more

not from the area just stopped in because I wanted a Matcha drink and there's so many in garden grove. I think it was the owners at the register. They were super nice and patient. their double Matcha drink is exceptional!! needed a cold drink that wouldn't give me the sugar crash and it hit so perfectly! I asked for the least amount of sugar they were able to accommodate happily the foam is so good. It is not too sweet and full of sugar like a lot of the other places. The orange juice is 100% fresh orange and you can have the option to add sugar or not. There was a bit of an astringency aftertaste but nothing too bad. The pandan was light but I could for sure taste it. The price was average, not cheap, but also not overpriced for the size you get. This coffee shop is located in hmart plaza. Parking is plentiful near the shop. The shop itself carried on the same interior as the previous business. The service is like any basic take out spot. I only ordered one drink so I can't really judge all the drinks, but I would stay away from their banana matcha. In fact I think we need to reevaluate the drink as a whole. I see people serving matcha nowadays at every store because it is trendy, but if you're going to serve it, at least make it decent quality. I could barely taste the matcha because the banana itself was overpowering in the worse way possible. If you like the taste of Medicine, you'll certainly like this. They used a thick pulp of artificial banana syrup, both taste and texture was unpleasant. Before I mixed it in, I had a taste of the matcha, and it's just not right. read more
