I woke up to walking into water in my family, bathroom, laundry rooms and hallway. I contacted my plumber he suggested to contact Premier Leak Detection to pinpoint the leak turned out to be in my hallway wall. My original review described an ice maker/refrigerator supply valve replacement that went wrong. Sometimes, though, you can be very pleasantly surprised when a less-than-stellar experience turns out to be one of your best consumer experiences. I was contacted by the company after my review, and they were incredible. They were super apologetic about what I think was a miscommunication at the company and took full responsibility for making things right. It's fair to say that I've not had such a positive customer service experience in a very long time. The entire problem has been fixed with the highest professionalism and care. The broken valve has been fully replaced and our line upgraded -- the final cost was more than fair. My water bill suddenly increased almost three fold in a month, and I received a notice from my local water district about a possible leak in the house. I wondered whether it had to do with my tankless water heater. Within a few hours of me reaching out to Celco, Sam reached out to me. He was professional, prompt, responsive, and organized. He asked for details, videos, and photos to streamline the visit when he would come to inspect everything. He sent a confirmation message after I talked with him. He followed up with a message on the day of inspection to confirm the arrival time. Unfortunately for me, the sound that had been ongoing for days stopped the day when they came for the inspection, just out of bad luck for me. That said, they were extremely methodical, detailed, and systematic in considering all possibilities for the water leak.. It was just bad timing and luck for me that the issue seemed to address itself somehow, similar to going to the mechanic for a funny car sound but the sound stops when you're at the car shop. They checked the water meter and found that it was no longer running, so I think they narrowed down the issue to the tankless water heater system. Even with that, there are still a few possibilities within the system, so that's where they will need the sound to present itself again before making a definitive conclusion on the source of the problem. They made recommendations on what to observe and evaluate if/when the sound returns to definitively identify the cause of the issue in the tankless water heater system. If/when the sound returns, I will certainly contact them to diagnose the issue and fix the problem. I appreciate their time, thoroughness and professionalism. Company like to steal money by billing fraudulent claims to the insurance company. To mitigate water damage and mold remediation, they pulled out my entire ceiling and never finished the job. They quit after hounding me for $10,000 which I paid. They damaged my automated shades by applying tape to the material and never took responsibility. I don't believe this company has insurance. When Celco says they are insured, they actually mean that they will submit damages to your insurance company, that they did to your property! Never again will I use these people. In Response to the Jose owner: First of all, Celco billed for electric that was used from my home to power their equipment and then had the audacity to bill my insurance company. Second, the HOA was the party hired you and was supposed to pay for your services. Not me nor my insurance! I never signed anything. This AGREEMENT was made between the HOA and Celco. Not Me!! After weeks of interaction. I then received a surprising bill for over $10,000. I paid the bill. I just received the final invoice from my insurance company, which was an amount much smaller than what I was billed and paid for! Third, Masterpiece Floors was brought out for an estimate as a referral from Celco. When I never received the estimate I reached out SIX times and heard crickets from Masterpiece Floors and Celco. After one and a half months later, Steve M finally responded: "My supervisor has informed me we wouldn't be able to take this job due to availability and issues with insurance. We don't want to put you in a spot in which you are forced to sign with us which was mentioned to insurances. You can have a company of your preference and any questions or issues from mitigation they can contact travelers Insurance so they can reach out to us." Fourth, The automated shades may have been able to be fixed, as they were slightly water stained. Your idiot employees thought it would be a good idea to apply adhesive tape to our one shade that had NO Damage, to hold up your tenting. Then, when Celco said not to worry that it is covered by insurance, you slip out of the picture and stick me with having to replace the shades on my dime!! The shades were over $14,000. I moved in my current house about 1 year ago and I had 3 seperate issues where my internet went down. Each time spectrum came out they saw that the coaxil cable from the street into my house has melted at the connector portion. They had said there was feedback coming from my house. I called Celco and they quoted me to send someone out to troubleshoot the job. Nelson (Electdrical Manager) came over the next day to look into the issue. I provided all the details that spectrum gave me. He spent about 30 min looking at it and determined it wasn't anything from my house and it looked to be an issue from edison. I did call SCE to report the issue. They said they noticed some unusual behaviour from a house close by, so they will be sending someone over to look at the issue. When closing out the transaction, Nelson said he didn't feel right about charging me for the minumum four hours quoted. To me that spoke volumes of the way he (and the company) think and treat thier customers. They don't want this quick buck, they want to ensure thier customers are treated fairly and are satisfied with the work performed. On top of that, instead of leaving to go his next appointment, he took the time to listen to other requests and questions I had about my home. From electrical questions to plumbing questions (even though he wasn't a plumer) to remodeling the house. He went out of his way to ensure that I, as a customer, was satisfied. I have more work planned, just waiting to get the funds, but I plan to give Celco a call to take care of all my requests.
