The boyfriend and I ordered some flights ( of course!) and we ended up ordering our full size beer of our favorite. Pretty cool little brewery off Maple. Not a full bar but has about 6 different beers they brew on site, plus a cider or too from a local brewery. Wine is also available but didn't look at that menu. Staff was very friendly & knowledgable, great at helping you pick one or sample any of the beers you want. Many of the beers are higher percent beers but they have 1 or 2 that are around 5%. Good little sitting area, lots of window to look out, decorated with a celestial/space theme. Word to the wise avoid the benches, if you sitting on the ends and people get up you will fall in the ground!!!! Saw it happen twice. No food that I was aware of but defiantly a cool place to check out. Casual & cool feel. Want to take some beer home? You can buy a 32oz can & take it with you of most of the beers they brew. I'm for sure a fan of Celestial Beerworks! I liked how this brewery had unique glasses for their flights and such a unique concept overall. They kept the "galaxy" theme throughout the decor, beer names, cups, everything! I really enjoyed every beer that I had from here. My only complaint is that it's not huge and the afternoon that we were there I felt like I was in the middle of a club that we weren't apart of. There was maybe 20 loud people sitting around that all knew each other and we accidentally sat in the middle of it. Also, there was a dog inside, no complaints, but just keep in mind that they aren't strict about that. read more

Celestial Beerworks is a super cute brewery with very good beers. Lots of seating available inside and out. They had some great Double IPA's and Stouts available when we went and they were all delicious. My favorites were the Electro-Squared and Planetfolia. We came on a Saturday afternoon and it was busy but we were able to find a place to sit. They had several TVs offering sports stuff. This brewery seems to accommodate large groups very well. Came for happy hour, great spot for beer fans. Beer: The menu was very IPA-heavy, but I tried to explore a bit of everything. The IPAs I tried were both fantastic, hazy juicy awesomeness. Ended up taking home a 4-pack of the double IPA. Tried one of the stouts, it was also top-class quality, really enjoyed it. They had a couple wheat beer options which I thought were solid. Taproom: Cool area, extremely casual, dog friendly, nice bartenders with quick service. Doesn't really have a parking lot, but it's on a side-street so easy to park on the street. If you're into a relaxed atmosphere with some of the best New England IPAs in the country, you will absolutely love this place! It's near downtown off of Maple Avenue in a revitalized area. They have a big patio with covering and a tap room that can fit plenty of people. The main attraction of course is the beer! You can drink onsite or buy cans to go. They post their selection on Untappd and their beers are always some of the highest rated ones out there. They also sell wine and you can bring outside food in with you. We go there at least 2-3 times a week! read more

They have an ever rotating selection of beer, a wildly decorated but oddly comfortable taproom, and the nicest staff and owners you could ask for. Nice little brewery that's business model seems to be to cater to the surrounding neighborhood by staying super local. I liked their tap room and the selection. I'd happily come back. Their prices for their 4pk tall boys are too high though. $16 & $17 respectively for their stout and IIPA are out of line w/ the market, especially if you're buying direct from the brewery w/o the distributor or retailer markup. I'm slowly discovering the little tap rooms in Dallas and Celestial Beerworks is not exception. It looks unassuming little café but when you enter it's a really nice space. There's seating inside and to the right you can see the brewing area. The patio open up with table and chairs to sit back and relax with a great craft beer. I was visiting for an event "May The Fourth Be With You". I got dressed in my Star Wars gear and put Princess Leia in best frock to enjoy the fun. She had her run of the patio area offering kisses to two leg and four-legged friends. The Celestial staff were dressed in theme as well as all the listed beers were Star Wars themed. I tried the Maul-Garita. It's a Margarita styled Berliner weisse with Lemon, Lime and Strawberry 4%abv. Absolutely delicious. The Darth Chocolate with Mexican Hot Chocolate Imperial Stout with Cocoa nibs, cinnamon, vanilla and lactose. 11.5% abv. It doesn't taste boozy but it will sneak up on you after the 2nd glass. Since I didn't know when I would be back I got a four pack of IPA to tempt my palate on these upcoming summer days. read more

Absolutely the place to be if you're a beer drinker in Dallas. Their head brewer has quickly left his stamp on the DFW market as the best in the game for the NEIPA and DIPA. Only a month or two old, and each new beer has improved upon itself. It is definitely not out of the realm of possibility to see this brewery become one of the big names in the beer scene nation wide. Being as close as it is to Love Field, it's a matter of time before the beer mules of the world are trading around these juicy NEIPAs for some of the big names in the Northeast. The mouthfeel, aroma and overall taste are unrivaled for the area. Definitely a powerhouse southern brewery in the making, in the same vein as Parrish, Spindletap, etc. If you're not a NEIPA fan, there's plenty for you as well. The stouts are full bodied, thick and delicious, and word on the street is that there will be some barrel aged options soon. They also offer a delicious saison and keep things fresh by adding blended versions of a lot of their offerings periodically. There seem to be some complaints with the price points on the 4-pack cans, but compared to everywhere in the northeast, it's really a steal, given that you're getting similar quality beer for 1-2 dollars cheaper. It may seem expensive for the area, but it's because the quality is flat out higher. For the non beer drinkers, they offer some local wines and ciders, showing their support for the local scene. The second draw of the place is the art. Starting with the beautiful mural on the outside, and only complimented by the Celestial theme on the inside, it is simply one of the coolest breweries you'll ever see. The entire ambiance makes the place even better, with a knowledgeable staff, as friendly as can be. You'll often times find the owners themselves hanging out with the customers, sharing some beers and even offering recommendations of what to try. There is something going on every day/night to keep the place interesting, from trivia to vinyl spins to live music and food trucks. The place is also very family friendly, and you'd be hard pressed to find someone who doesn't enjoy it. If you are in the DFW area, this place is an absolute must see. Could not recommend this place more and won't be surprised at all when it becomes widely considered the best beer in Texas. read more

Nice little brewery that's already doing some big stuff. The brewery is close to Love field and the Medical district, parking is very minimal street parking only. Great design work that was done all over the building inside and outside. The outside patio was great it's under the DART rail, I would definitely rethink those benches not made for big people like me. As for the beer, it's simple amazing, they are pumping out great hazy New England IPA's. Very juicy and hazy. My favorite so far has to be the Cerberus, it's a collaboration with Turning Point brewery and Oak-cliff Brewery. The pricing on the menu board is a little confusing cause most the beer was priced at $6-7 for a 12oz pour but I was being charged $8.50-9.50 easily. I had 3 rounds 6 beers and was charged close to $60 bucks that were definitely 12oz pours. Either way great beer but I might stick to just taking crowlers seems cheaper 3 32oz cans was like $40 bucks. read more
