Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday…read more A couple of weeks prior, my iPhone 11 had issues, I went to another AT&T store, and they informed me that I could get a refurbished phone through the 3rd party Asurion. To make a long story short, the refurbished iPhone 12 that Asurion sent me on 5.13.2025 was defective, and although it took 3 trips to AT&T Skokie and another replacement being sent overnight to me by Asurion, AT&T Skokie helped me throughout the entire process, and by Friday 5.30.2025, I had a working iPhone again. (the 3 trips were in no way the fault of AT&T Skokie, it was due to the defective refurbished iPhone 12 that Asurion sent me on 5.13.2025) I want to give a shout-out and appreciation to both Gerardo and Byron. There knowledge and Customer Service was outstanding, and hopefully knock on wood all my iPhone issues are OK now, but if anything goes wrong again and/or it's time to buy a new phone, my first stop will definitely be AT&T in Skokie. However, after 8 months, the gift cards have never arrived. Additionally, they promised a monthly bill of around $200 (which was billed the first month) and then it went up to $360 every month after. I've been trying to get this resolved for 8 months and the TCC rep tells me each month it's resolved, yet it's not. I've tried contacting the manager several times and she does not respond back to me. Extremely poor customer service and would recommend going to a Verizon owned store as TCC doesn't back up their commitments.

The lady who was helping me out was very kind and polite. She took the much needed time to help get everything transferred that I needed And helped immensely when choosing a phone. I found it kind of strange when I was asked to have a photo taken of me holding a paper about their promo for their monthly streaming service for their phones. Why they waited til I was the only customer in there To do that, I will never know That was the only thing that made me very uncomfortable The other employee a man who tried to convince me to buy it after I politely declined asked me to do that and said he would be in the picture but stood 6 feet away for social distancing, then they were tagging either him or I or both for the photo , I wish that whole ordeal hadn't been going on As it made me extremely uncomfortable I hope they didn't post my photo with that promo And I sure hope they didn't tag him when I was the only one holding it, and I sure hope they didn't tag me without my permission

After 30 years of just paying my monthly bills, AT&T stopped listening when they conned me into…read moreadding Directv. This store is complicit in the abuse we've endured. On 9/4/17 we called AT&T to replace one of our family phones. The phone rep said "we can make this a buy one get one free if you subscribe to Directv - plus we can reduce your monthly mobile bill by $100". Sounded good, so we bought Directv and a new iPhone - but we never got the free iPhone nor the $100 monthly savings. Since then we've spent almost nine hours speaking with various phone reps and supervisors in the "Retention" department. Only one rep, Anna-Lisa White, was honest and transparent with us. We learned that the salesperson on 9/4/17 failed to register us for the BOGO, didn't tell us it was going to expire ten days later and probably falsified the offer of $100 monthly savings. In fact he increased our monthly bill by upgrading us to an unlimited data plan. Nobody in "Retention" was willing or able to rectify the situation. We suggested numerous times that someone listen to the 9/4/17 phone call "recorded for quality assurance" but no one has. We can imagine that the original person is a rogue employee, but it seems crazy that no one will lift a finger to fix the mess he created. We were told, however, that if we quit, AT&T would charge us about $800 in early termination fees. In other words: "We don't have to live up to our promises, sir - but you do." This has been so maddening that it's indeed tempting to just pay the fees and switch carriers after decades with AT&T. Or just accept that we got tricked into buying Directv and wait two years to switch carriers.
