I live in Rogers Park so it was about a twenty-two minute drive for me without the expressway but you could easily hop on the highway and get there in even less time. Also, it's accessible by Skokie Swift and pace buses and located on a major street, Dempster. I stopped by and spoke to Noor- he took my phone and accessed the damage. He said it would cost $40 to replace and that he could have it complete in an hour. Noor took my phone number down and said he would call me as soon as it was done. The damage to my phone was extremely bad but Noor assured me that it was a quick and easy repair. The place itself is very clean and there is a parking lot for customers. Noor called me to tell me that they were swamped with work and that he could have the phone ready for the next day. I genuinely appreciated the follow up and told him that it would be no problem! I came in the next day, paid Noor and picked up my phone! He even threw in a free cover my screen and offered me a three months warranty. Pretty amazing if you ask me! This is what makes small business so incredible- they go out of their way to make your experience memorable and impactful. To make a long story short, the refurbished iPhone 12 that Asurion sent me on 5.13.2025 was defective, and although it took 3 trips to AT&T Skokie and another replacement being sent overnight to me by Asurion, AT&T Skokie helped me throughout the entire process, and by Friday 5.30.2025, I had a working iPhone again. (the 3 trips were in no way the fault of AT&T Skokie, it was due to the defective refurbished iPhone 12 that Asurion sent me on 5.13.2025) I want to give a shout-out and appreciation to both Gerardo and Byron. There knowledge and Customer Service was outstanding, and hopefully knock on wood all my iPhone issues are OK now, but if anything goes wrong again and/or it's time to buy a new phone, my first stop will definitely be AT&T in Skokie.
