Brooklyn meets CLE! This is the vibe I felt when entering and dining here. Visiting from NYC, I was curious about the pizza scene at Cents. Funky, retro vibes in a cozy intimate setting. Great spot for small groups or date night. They have a back patio open in the summer too! It gets busy so go early on a weeknight. The pizza was excellent! Wood fired goodness! We ordered a few pink, green, and white pizzas to share, deep house salad, pickle party, tiramisu, and spumoni. The pink pizza was my favorite! The pickle party looks simple but surprisingly good! Deep house salad was fresh. Save room because the desserts are a must! We had some leftover pizza between five people. I'd suggest not saving because the pizza tastes best when fresh. A day later and not as good. Street parking available. Restrooms available and no stairs to access the restaurant. Hope to check out the patio one day! Some of the best pizza in Cleveland!

Late one night in downtown Cleveland, we had the munchies and a craving for pizza, so we wound up getting Cent's Pizza. Specifically, two cheese pizzas and a Deep House salad (endives, frisee, cilantro, dill, coriander, aleppo, vinaigrette and EVOO). We were so hungry, and the food was so good, we dove in and it was gone before I could grab decent photos. Cleveland may not be known for its pizza scene (yet) but Cent's is worth a trip for anyone looking for gourmet pie in the City of Cleves. If you're in town, give Cent's a try - you won't be disappointed!

Cocktail Menu

The Cherry Pizza was great! The service was fast. The lighting is dim so this is a perfect informal casual date night.

Great place for small parties but not built to accommodate more than 4, making seating awkward for our family of 7. Pizzas, however, are stellar with several unique pies. I enjoyed a pie that featured cream cheese, red onions, capers and speck. Spectacular pairings though a simple white sauce might be better. Ordinary pies were extraordinary. Cocktails rock too. Don't sleep on the puffy bread, it's the best. Staff were awesome.

Small place with big good things. There's some parking around the area, the restaurant is small, but it is such a cool place. Inside is funky, cool, and has a really cool vibe but the music is a bit too loud and with the conversations happening, it's a lot. Their wait is very long, we came on Sunday, about 30 mins after opening and waited a little over an hour. We got their Wonder Bread with butter and it was absolutely delicious. However, the price for the bread and butter is a bit expensive. We got the Pink with sausage and Gravy pizza. The Pink was phenomenal and very good. The Gravy was good but it does not have the typical layer of cheese and it was definitely missing in that taste. Overall, very good, made well, and quality food. Staff was very nice and helpful! They have outdoor seating but because we came during the cold season, it wasn't open. I think it would be nice during the warmer months. I would come back because their food is pretty good. I would make sure to come at a better time to have a better wait time. I would recommend for a casual date, good pizza, and cool vibes.

Cent's is hands down my favorite place for pizza. The salads and cocktails are amazing also. They don't take reservations so we usually have a wait. This time we were seated right away. In the warmer months they have indoor and outdoor seating. The decor is fun and whimsical. The staff are very friendly and organized. You can tell they work well as a team. They usually play old movies in a screen near the bar. It is also fun to browse the retail area when you are waiting. They have some unusual finds.

Amazing experience, service and food. I've tried 3 times to go here and finally made it in, tried everything the Caesar and the pink pizza were my favorite along with the MIZU drink! The staff is lovely, one male overheard me in between 2 drinks and he brought me over a small taster of the drink with garnish and all and it was delicious and so thoughtful! Ambiance is so cool and different i will definitely be coming back if I can ever get back in!:)

updating my review to 5 stars. Probably my fav pizza in Cleveland! they have really expanded their menu with several more vegetarian options. My favorite is the pink pizza which has the most flavorful vodka sauce. Additionally rh cocktail menu has been revamped. Also the wonder bread is a MUST. It's so fluffy and perfectly salty. Try it with the straticella. You won't regret it! you might have to wait during the weekends but it's more than worth it. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the menu

Came here for a date night and it did not disappoint. It was my date's second time here and my first time here. For an appetizer, we got the Wonder Bread - we had to try it as newbies and I am SO glad we did!!! It was heaven! We got both the butter and chili garlic crisp with it. I recommend getting both and mixing them together to drip the bread in! Our server let us in on that for more flavor! For entrees, we got two pizzas - the "Pink" pizza (I added ricotta on top) and the "Gorf" pizza. The pizzas were both served warm, delicious, and flavorful. I was so shocked to see a pizza with vodka sauce on it - YOU NEED TO TRY THE PINK PIZZA!!! Cents took #1 pizza spot from this visit.

Owner greeted us at the door. Everyone working there seemed truly happy. Incredible service. So warm and kind. And the food was fantastic! Cents for the win. It's our new pizza place.

Pizza was so amazing and the drinks too! Nice service, nice interior/a vibe. Nothing bad to say! Long wait though

Long wait, but they don't take reservations and it was a Saturday night. Loved the vibes, but music was a little too loud. Disco ball was a nice touch! Pizza was ok overall. Service was decent as well

Wonderbread 10/10 Caesar Salad 10/10 Pizza 10/10 Service 10/10 Drinks/10/10 Found Cents on yelp. Drove a little out of the way to get there. Restaurant is in an area we will call up and coming. Cool lighting and decorations. We got there right near opening time which I would suggest because it filled up quickly. We got our food quickly and everything was great. I don't have a bad thing to say about Cents. My wife and I will be back.

Coming into the store there was a cute counter by the window if you did decide to sit inside and eat. We came all the way from Kent for the pizza and wanted to try a slice before we left for home so my boyfriend ate a slice in the parking lot really quick. An employee (possibly the owner) came out with napkins and offered us to sit inside. We declined as we had to leave but the man graciously went inside and brought us out cold water bottles for our drive home! It was such a thoughtful gesture. Now onto the pizza. It was delicious! We ordered a regular pepperoni pizza and the white Neapolitan style pizza. It wouldn't let me add pineapple to my pizza online, which was fine because it didn't need it, the pizza was so good! My boyfriend loved his pepperoni pizza and I also enjoyed my Neapolitan style white pizza. It had a great garlicky flavor and was crispy on the crust. Will definitely be back to try the margarita pizza next! So if you're looking for a great pizza with hospitality I recommend coming to Joe De's!

If you check out my reviews, you'll see that I've sampled pizzas in more than one state and more than one country, including Italy. I've sampled many types of crusts and sauces. While the crust here is fine (not the best), the sauce is repulsive. My daughter said "Dad, this area is heavily populated with people from Eastern Bloc countries," to which I responded "If they like their pizza sweet, so be it. But I certainly don't." I understand that there are plenty of pizza styles, including the Greek version, which includes cinnamon on occasion. Yuck. This place is called Napoleon's Pizza, and they claim to conquer pretty much everything, from your pizza craving to the whole town of Parma. Indeed, Napoleon was an Italian dude who was born in France. His conquering skills were excellent, until his greed resulted in the deaths of thousands of soldiers who froze to death. All of that to say, I might've named this place Napoli's Pizza (since Napoli is the birthplace of the pizza we know today). But the sweet sauce here is an abomination, so maybe 'Napolean's' is more appropriate after all.

Buzzed and starving, you stumble across a NYC-style slice shop directly along your critical path. In the moment, it feels like Moses parting the Red Sea before your very eyes. You watch happy patrons pile out with slices as large as your head, you smell the delicious grease; you can practically taste your pie already. Stepping inside, this religious experience continues when, right as you ready yourself to order, you watch the pizza barista pull a hot, fresh pie directly from the oven. You can see instantly deduce the pizza is perfectly cooked--the cheese is melted evenly, the smell of the tomato sauce lingers in the air, the crust has just the right bend--you look the cashier in the eye and declare that a slice of that fresh-out-of-the-oven pizza pie is exactly what you want. Now imagine the horror as the cashier takes that fresh slice of pizza, perfect as Michelangelo's David, and PUTS IT BACK IN THE OVEN. Horrified, you can do nothing but watch as your already amazing slice of pizza is burnt to a crisp. Served to you five minutes later, your wonderfully floppy New York slice now has the consistency of a saltine cracker. It has been charred to the point of burying the cheese and sauce--replaced by the flavor of charcoal. You might think this is an indulgent (and even pretentious) way to simply say "the pizza was overcooked," but I believe understanding the promise of this product is essential to understanding the pain of its disappointment. Lil Ronnie's is the type of place that has all of the potential to become a legitimate contender for the best pizza in town--it does so much right with its atmosphere and location, and my nose and sight told me the potential exists within that original version of the slice! Just please. We only need to cook the pizza once.

The food I ordered the anchovy margherita pizza and it was a solid 9.5/10. Easily one of the closest pizzas I've had in the U.S. to the authentic Roman-style pizzas I remember. The only minor criticism -- and honestly not really their fault -- was that the anchovies tasted slightly canned, giving a bit more fishiness than the fresh anchovies commonly used in Italy. The service One of the owners, Annie, felt like the Italian nonna welcoming you into her home. Warm, thoughtful, conversational and constantly making sure everyone was taken care of. That hospitality elevated the entire experience. The atmosphere The restaurant is smaller and lively, so it can get pretty loud, especially on a Saturday night. The music was a tad louder than I personally prefer, but I also think it helps balance out the constant buzz of conversation happening at every table. The wait My friend and I arrived around 6:30 PM on a Saturday and the wait was about an hour and a half -- which is wild for a pizza place, but also says everything about how popular it is. Worth it? If you're craving authentic Italian pizza, absolutely. Overall The food alone makes the noise and wait worthwhile, and the hospitality makes you want to come back. I'd absolutely return the next time I'm in Cleveland.
