We visited Central Autohaus Car lot at 19350 Preston Rd, Dallas, TX 75252 to purchase a Mercedes and initially worked with Mo. He greeted us and offered a test drive of the vehicle. During the test drive, Mo received a phone call that appeared to indicate the vehicle had already been sold. However, rather than informing us of that situation, he proceeded with the sales process and had our credit run, Afterward, we met with Sam in finance. From the beginning, he seemed unwilling to answer basic questions about the deal. When it became clear that we needed a co-signer, they ran my father's credit as well, without informing us that the vehicle was no longer available. Later, Sam presented a monthly payment amount. When we politely asked to see a breakdown of the numbers and requested clarification on the deal terms, it became apparent that our questions were frustrating both Sam and Mo. Rather than providing transparency and answering reasonable questions that any customer would ask before making a major purchase, their attitudes became increasingly hostile and defensive. Sam eventually became visibly upset, tore up the paperwork, and told us that someone had already placed a deposit on the vehicle and that we would need to speak with our salesperson about another car. We then spoke with Mo, who claimed that someone had put a deposit on the vehicle only five minutes earlier. This explanation made little sense given that our credit had already been run over an hour earlier. When I asked why we were not informed about the vehicle's status before our credit was pulled, Mo responded by saying I had a bad attitude. At that point, the situation escalated because we continued asking legitimate questions about what had happened and why our credit had been run on a vehicle that was apparently unavailable. Instead of addressing our concerns professionally, both employees became confrontational. Both Mo and Sam made threatening comments, stating that they were going to "beat the f***" out of me and that they had been waiting for the opportunity then outside the dealership, Sam repeatedly shouted racially charged comments about us "coming from the neighborhood." As an African American man, I found those remarks offensive and racially charged while also protecting my african american girlfriend from possibly being harmed. A salesperson and finance manager physically coming outside to fist fight a customer is unheard of and disturbing. However, Marcus, the General Manager stepped in, handled the situation professionally, and ultimately helped us purchase the vehicle. I genuinely appreciate his efforts to salvage what had become an unacceptable experience Unfortunately, the damage had already been done. No customer or person of color should be made to feel unwelcome simply for asking questions, requesting transparency, seeking an explanation before signing paperwork or be pre- judged due to their skin color. Customers have every right to understand the terms of a deal and the status of a vehicle before their credit is run. Title: Dishonest Dealership - Avoid at All Costs I purchased a vehicle from Central Auto Haus and was misled on multiple fronts. What was promised as a clean, reliable car turned out to be a bundle of lies and negligence. The car came with "new tires"--but each tire was a different brand and tread pattern. One even had a dangerous bulge in the sidewall. I was told the car had alloy wheels, which it did--but that was the only accurate part. Remote start was promised but never installed. The key fob provided was an aftermarket version that doesn't work with the car. I reported all of this immediately. The sales agent assured me everything would be fixed and a proper key fob would be sent. That never happened. To make matters worse, the agent no longer works there, and management refuses to respond or take responsibility. To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to formally document and express my extreme frustration with the experience I've had purchasing a vehicle from Central Auto Hauss. I HAVE FINALLY RECEIVED MY Plates, and Have a legal vehicle on the road. As a customer who entered this transaction in good faith, expecting honesty, professionalism, and transparency, I can unfortunately say that those expectations were not met. This process has not only been confusing and financially unfair, but at times personally disrespectful and threatening. From the outset, I was told that the purchase price included all fees, and that I would not incur any additional out-of-pocket expenses. However, the reality was far different: * I was told the vehicle had one owner and no accidents. Yet, after the contract was signed, I was informed it had been in an accident and the bumper was replaced. This was not disclosed in advance. * The mileage listed was incorrect, which I informed Mo about on February 19. * I inquired about the condition of the tires and was assured they were "all set and good." However, the rear tires are bald and will not pass Massachusetts state inspection. I have Mo's response in Text if needed. * There is a cracked driver-side mirror causing a blinker malfunction. * There is also a bullet hole in the passenger side of the vehicle -- something that should have been disclosed immediately but never was. These issues were not disclosed before the purchase and significantly affect both the safety and value of the vehicle. . I was misled about the vehicle's location, and even asked to lie to banks, stating I had the vehicle in my possession before I actually did. Upon delivery, the driver demanded $800 in cash before releasing the vehicle -- despite repeated assurances that delivery was included in the vehicle price. Under pressure, and not wanting to lose the truck, I agreed to split the cost. However, this expense was never disclosed or agreed upon Perhaps the most disturbing part of this experience was the way I was spoken to. At one point, I was called a "trashy client" and threatened with physical harm. I'm a hardworking father of three, with two children in college -- I entered this transaction in good faith, and I expected the same from the business. Central Auto Hauss presents itself as a dealership that prioritizes customer satisfaction, trust, and professionalism. In this case, that standard was not met. I have been a reasonable and cooperative customer throughout this process, and I have text and email documentation to support every claim I've made here. I had quite an awful experience with this business the 8th of March 2025. I live 5 hours away so I tried to get as much information as possible regarding the vehicle I was interested in, the 2008 Audi TT, before making the drive. While they did provide a CARFAX report, when I asked if there were any other issues with the car, I was told "it's in good shape". Their website says they open at 9am on Saturday's so that's when I arrived. They didn't open till 9:30am. I had pre scheduled a pre-purchase inspection at the local Audi dealer at 10 so this cut into my test drive time. I got the keys and the car was dead so they had to jump it. This made things feel off right away. The passenger seat motors didn't work so I couldn't get my kid in the back through that door and the handle for the glovebox was detached and sitting in the cup holder. After getting the inspection the major issues that Audi pointed out were the dead battery, a leak in the upper valve cover, shocked motor mounts and a leaking front axel. When I brought all of these concerns to the manager of Autohaus and that I'd like those issues resolved, or the price lowered so I could have Audi resolve them, he poked fun at me for spending money on an inspection, admitted that the car hadn't been touched since he bought it in December and brushed off the major items as precautionary and unjustified. 19350 Preston Rd, Dallas, TX 75252 I am writing this review to warn people and advise them not to buy a car from this man and his private dealership. I recently bought a used car, a 2022 Subaru Outback, from Mark in August and although the carfax history did show the vehicle had been in a previous accident, there was so much stuff we found out after buying the car that we were not told or aware of before buying it. About 2 days after we bought the car, problems started coming up. I took it to a local car repair shop to see what the issue was and i was shocked with what i was told. The repairs from the previous accident were done so badly that the parts under my car were bent, behind held together by zip ties, and the job was done very very poorly. I reached out to Mark asking if he knew of all this and when i told him i was going to take it to the Subaru dealership for a proper and full inspection, he kept telling me there was no need for it and just told me not to go. I still took it and found out there was about $2000 worth of repairs that needed to be done. Since Mark stopped picking up my calls and decided not to help me anymore, i told subaru to proceed with the repairs. While doing so, they called me and told me hidden behind parts in the front of the vehicle was frame damage that was never reported and was something they cannot fix. After hearing about this I reached out to Mark again, no answer. I told my daughter to reach out and same thing no answer. He purposely declined our calls after seeing the area code from the number we called from. I also tried filing a lemon law report but unfortunately i did not read the fine print in the documents provided for me to sign so it couldn't be effective so i advice everyone who is thinking about buying a car from here: DON'T. They hide things and don't offer to help at all. There are a number of other issues that followed after i bought the car, such as the tire sensor being broken and that was something i wasn't made aware of. I bought the car from dallas and drove it back to my home town in san antonio and as i drove back i saw the tire pressure light come on so i took it to discount tire thinking it was the air in one of the tires was low but no. Discount tire told me the tire sensor was completely out and broken so it wasn't reading. I contacted Mark to see if he could reimburse me for the costs to get this fixed since I found out the. same day i bought the car and he was no help at all.
