Happened 4/15/2026 -- I was looking for a Nissan Altima and unfortunately came across this place. This was the WORST Nissan experience I have ever had. I recommend everyone not trust this dealership. I was looking at an Altima at Keating Toyota and wanted to buy it, but I checked online for comparable vehicles in the area before making a decision. That's when I came across Central Houston Nissan. I saw what looked like an amazing deal on an Altima on their website. I called in and spoke with Sarah Simmons in BDC. She reassured me the car was available and that the $20k price listed would be the actual purchase price, with the only additional cost being tax, title, and license--about $2k total. I asked her multiple times to confirm this and whether there were any mandatory add-ons. She said she even called the GM, who confirmed they would honor the online price and that any add-ons were completely optional. I also told them I didn't currently have a car and that Uber costs were adding up, and they told me they would reimburse my Uber. When I arrived, I loved the car, test drove it, and then went into Omar's office to go over the numbers. The breakdown I was given included the retail price plus a $950 window protection fee, $1,590 environmental protection fee, $2,958 recon and certification fee, and a $1,977 LoJack fee--on top of tax, title, and license. I told them this was not what I had agreed to. The manager came out and said the most they could remove was $900. I told them I couldn't move forward because this was not what I was promised or could afford working retail. They said there was nothing they could do, refused to reimburse my Uber as promised, and would not provide a ride back home because I chose not to buy the car. This was honestly insane to me. The car only had 5,338 miles on it, so a $3k recon fee made no sense. They claimed it was for a "lifetime powertrain warranty," which is the same warranty they advertise on their website as a free, complimentary service included with every new and used car. read more

Horrible service experience. Service agent had poor attitude, yelled at me when I asked a question. Kept going on and on and still never answered my question. Told me that my question was self explanatory. Got so bad one of his coworker had to pull his coat and tell him Not to respond anymore . When I went to report him to the Service Director, he barged into the office sat in the chair with attitude to try and intimidate me. I acknowledged him and said that my story is the same whether he is there or not because it is the truth and his lack of professionalism needs to be handled. At least 5 other service agents witnessed this and none intervened until he was yelling and pacing and the one told him to stop very inconspicuously. Disgusted and would never recommend! So i receive this coupon-meaning a purchase wasn't necessary; however, I made a purchase anyway. This place is price goughing at it's finest. Here is the coupon without a purchase. I showed it to not only the rep checking me but also at checkout because when I inquired about law enforcement, military or the offers I had in MyNISSAN app the cashier told me that it was already discounted. I'm trying to figure out what was discounted? If I had taken my vehicle to a local car repair shop, I'm almost certain it wouldn't have been this expensive. While this was diagnostic one would think with a 125 multi-point inspection I would have received some type of documentation informing me of what was checked and if at the least whether repairs or no repairs were needed. Appointments was at 12:45pm and didn't leave until close to 2:30pm. The vehicle doesn't even look like it touched no water but because I was flabbergasted with the price I had no energy to argue. My vehicle is still under warranty from what the MyNissan agent told me however I still managed to have to come out of pocket with $492.80 a hell of a lot taxes, labor and shop fees. Dealership somehow got my contact through aggregator and Lauren called and told me they would meet or beat Carvana price. I believe it is highly inappropriate and unethical that changes were made to our agreement AFTER we had reached a deal and documents were signed. The used car manager has poor communication skills and customer service skills. We sought clarification on the modifications, but the manager did not come to speak with us. Instead, he simply demanded $1,500 from us without providing any explanation. Additionally, I found the finance member to be quite aggressive in her approach, pressuring us to use Nissan's bank despite our credit union offering a better interest rate and monthly payments. This lack of transparency and pressure tactics made the entire experience feel shady. Furthermore, the gap coverage amount presented to us was exorbitant, and we never received clarification on how the final price of the vehicle increased by an astonishing $10,000. This was a horrible experience. The sales people are liars and unethical. I can only assume the problem is the dealership's culture. We agreed on a price and they confirmed the pricing with their GM. I told them I dont want to waste my time if they can't honor the price I will walk out. Randy called me and said we can do it so I went the next day. When I got there they made me wait for 45 minutes only to show me a sales info sheet with thw wrong price and with $5,000 of dealer add ons. Oh my, those car dealerships will make you waste your time . They are crooks, very unethical. They refused to issue a $750 coupon off the price. I gave them the coupon code and this is a promotion Nissan is running this entire month. The manager was very angry when I told him that the $750 was not deducted, then he told me that I am getting lifetime warranty and free wheel locks which comes standard with the deal. Purchased a new car from Baytown Nissan in 2023 and it was owned by Central Nissan and the window tint started coming off of the windows Baytown Nissan would not honor the warranty said to take it to Central Nissan fixed the problem the first time. Now the window tint is coming of of the back window and they said they will not cover the life time warranty on the window tint anymore and I will have to pay for it myself. If they owned Baytown Nissan they should honor the life time warranty. Requesting your help: Went to get new tires and oil change Saturday Sept. 13, 2025. The ride felt different so I took the suv back on Tuesday Sept. 16, 3025. Was told strut's collapsed. I did ask, why was I not told this before leaving on Saturday? Not a clear answer. I drove away, basically told to be careful because it is dangerous. I decided to get another opinion. I Got turned down to repair the Struts, was told whenever put the tires on and your suv, take it back to them to fix it because the machine they used to left my suv and do the tires caused damage to my struts and the air pressure. Bait and switch. Under no circumstances should anyone buy a car from this dealership. They advertise gods prices online, but they will not honor those prices or anything close to those prices. I went in to look at 2024 Nissan Frontiers, and ended up looking at a 2024 Frontier SV 4x4 with the Convenience and Technology packages. Their website advertises (still) that vehicle under stock number 241645 at $34,800 as the "Final Price" not counting conditional offers. When we sat down to look at numbers, they had $37,300 as the starting price with $10,000 in dealer addons for a total price of $47,000. Absolute bait and switch. After the salesman corps not get a "yes" out of me, they sent the first manager, who flat out lied to me about the incentives listed on in their website. I had a great experience with Raymond and Edwin my sales guys at Central Nissan Houston. Went in after seeing cars on carguru, The price was affordable for a new 2024 Kicks S. I really just wanted to look maybe test drive and then I had a color preference. Yes they did try to show me a 2025 SR (I think) but it was a little bigger and didn't care for the 2 tone colors offered. When I didn't care for the 2025 model they brought out a car I had seen on line. It was love at first sight. After discounts and great incentives even after the deal my husband said I was a fool if I didn't buy it. Serious upgrade from used 2014 car. I'm extremely happy with my choice and dealing with Central Houston Nissan and their staff. I found them to go above and beyond my expectations. Trying to purchase a used Jeep for my daughter. I was very clear from my first message to the dealership that we needed to walk out the door at 21k. Because I lived so far away, I asked them to please not make me drive to see the vehicle if that price was not doable. Twice they told me in text that they could work with that price and once on the phone. I gave up two days of work to come and inspect the Jeep. The second day, I brought my mechanic who gave up a day of work as well. When it came time to talk about price, they said it would be 29k for the vehicle. When I showed them the texts that they sent me, they basically said that someone else at the dealership agreed to that number and that it was incorrect. I lost 2 days of work and spent over $125 in gas on good faith from the dealership that they would honor the price they told me 3 times. Sad day for me and my daughter. Don't fall for Central Nissan's 2020 F-250. They tried chafing an extra $7,995 on the asking price when I got there. So angry at deceptive advertising and such a huge waist of my time. People of Houston this dealership does not care about Houstonians. My complaint is not a bad car or a bad deal. It is about them unloading their vehicles on Buffalo Speedway during traffic hours. I got stuck in that traffic and my son suffered an 8 minute seizure. I had to sit there and watch unable to do anything for him. There are few things, more disturbing that watching your child in a medical emergency and not be able to do anything about it. I promise you, is it soul crushing! So I went in tho the dealership after that incident to ask them to stop unloading on the street. They have a huge lot to unload cars in but they do it on the street causing dangerous traffic situations. They don't want to dent their own cars but your car out there in that traffic, well they don't care about that either. The management team had no comments about my son suffering at their hands. And did inform me that had no intentions of stopping that practice. So please call and complain, call 911 when you see them unloading there. Someone will eventually get killed there because of that truck unloading on a busy city street. Do not give these people your money. They are not worthy of your time or money. The salesman was new and nice but when we sat down to negotiate the price, the 'manager' added several THOUSANDS of dollars in fees for things we did not want! We told him to give us a price without the extras and said we would buy the car right now if you give this price. He came back with a CRUMBLED UP PAPER and said the manager told him there's no way that's happening. We asked to meet the person who did that and we asked 'why would do that?' So my man I and went here today at 1pm because we received a phone call the day prior saying that we were approved for a zero down. Now I know how janky and desperate these dealerships are and how they go the extra mile to make a sale so my husband explained every detail and gave the caller all the information about his background even told them about his credit etc. We told the caller that we don't have a vehicle and that we're ubering from far out and they still said sure come on down here we're approving the first 25 people no matter your credit or background for a zero down payment. Once we arrive no one was available after we were scheduled to be there at 1 so they assigned us to this salesman by the name of Johnelle Smith. He then ran all of our information and said how much are you putting down today and my husband and I said we were told a zero down payment and then the salesman says no problem we got you we have 3 cars for you but your note will be high we're like ok. I said are you sure nothing down he then proceeded to say yeah zero down and even had us pick the car all for him to come back and say well you're approved but they want you to pay the taxes which would be equivalent to the car total which was $1700!!!!! Listen I know about taxes added but i never heard of paying $1700 in taxes when that's how much the vehicle cost that we were suppose to have already been approved for! Then he was like maybe my manager could give you guys a better deal I'm like no thank you and he said no don't give up my manager is known for cutting good deals and I said yeah but we would still have to pay something down right then he said not necessarily because he stated that it's up to his manager and whatever he wants to do then the manager came In trying to fast talk my husband and I talking about sports then trying to get us to find people to co-sign for us then he said well if u hit the lottery then come back and see us!!!! When you take a car for repairs and before they give you an estimate (to change fluids, etc.) a gentleman called "Mr. Santana" calls you in an extortionist manner. He wants to buy your (beautiful, good-looking, well-maintained car) and offers you a brand-new one with "unlimited service warranty". He calls using a Nissan Central caller I.D. and has an office there. He works for the sales department. As soon as you try to "talk some numbers" with him, he shows zero knowledge about mathematics, resale values, blue book, etc. He is ignorant. He called several times, (called my wife four times when she took her car and twice when I took my car for routine 40,000 mile service). Of course, he tries to trap you into 1) selling your car in good condition to make a good resale profit, 2) selling you a brand-new car with all the costs including financing, another source of profits. 3) Then the service people call you with an outrageous quotation for the service. In my case they told me my AC evaporator does not work and it will cost me $4K just to fix that "because they have to remove all the dashboard, etc.", which was not true. The problem was in another cheaper component which did not require touching the dashboard to fix. Note that the service technician makes a salary AND a commission on money collected for services. This looks like a mafia-type organization. They work as a team, because salesman "Santana" gets the phone numbers of every customer who goes for service. You take your car and while they are estimating your repair costs, an agent, Mr. Santana, "wants to buy your car" to sell you another and so on. The sales department is in collusion with the service department although, when you complain, they blame each other for this extortionist attitude. The service persons (such as manager Mr. Bob Gore) claim honesty and being harmed by those "salespeople". The general manager, Mr. Chris Gates, when I explained the situation, kept insisting "that´s your opinion", as if a customer´s opinion did not matter to him. When I insisted, he kicked me out of his office claiming, "he has to make a living too". Chris Gates is the mastermind of this true criminal organization. Just be careful with Nissan Central of Houston, where I used to be a happy Nissan customer. Not anymore. My service technician even told me how irritated he is with the mafia-type structure created to ripoff customers, and is telling everybody in his family and circle of friends "never to get involved with the Nissan fraudulent organization". read more

if I could give them -5 stars I would! the customer service that I received from the service department was horrible! I was hung up on 3 times when I tried to get the name of the man I spoke with. I called back 2 more times and as soon I asked for his name he told me to hold and transferred me to reservations. I spoke to a sweet lady in reservation named Rachel who then transferred back to him and he still hung up! I asked to speak to a manager and he gave the phone to some named felix who also refused to give me the initial mans name. this same workers will be the reason no one will go to that dealership. If i could post 1 star i would, i could not recommend this dealership any less! I have been scammed and lied to, the car fax showed no accident and the guy who helped us told us it was not in an accident and after under a month and a half of using it they have tried to charge me %40 on a oil change alone! After i took it to my trusted mechanic he told me the vehicle was involved in an accident they had forgotten to clean up the paint compound! I got charged as if i was driving a brand new truck! I specifically told them i wanted a 5 year contract (12 times, yes i counted) and they didn't disclose the fact that they changed it to 7 years until i had signed the papers, that is $20,000 over what i should be paying scammers!
