because when I bought my car, no one told me that the Nissan 2021 would be making noises under the carriage so far I've had noises being made from steering wheel box to the strut and now they're telling me that there's a noise that's normal that Nissan knows about coming from where my brakes that I've had older or newer have ever made noises like this I don't think it's it's fair that they tell me that Nissan knows about it when I know it's not true even their own manager me that they'll buy my car back because that wasn't right but the service department told me that Nissan the Nissan owners ownership or manufacturer knows about these this makes that it's a normal common thing if that was the case if they would've put that in the contract, I would have never bought the car now. DISAPPOINTED! Trying to reach Central Valley Nissan's service dept is like calling a "ghost town"! Looking to get some quotes for check engine light diagnose + 150K mileage service for my 2016 Nissan Altima. First called front desk (in morning) to ask for service dept. Phone rang for awhile, then received a voice message (asking to leave message, will call back..). NEVER heard back, I later (night time) visited the dealer's main website to try another method via the "contact/message" window. Received an email from a lady (won't mention name - guessing must be service dept's Rep or advisor). I replied to email asking if she can pls call to further discuss my request. She called but I was at work in a meeting (10:30-ish AM), so asked (back in email) if she can try calling during the hours (I then provided) for my availability that day. Waited all day till around 4:30 pm to finally see her reply - "sorry missed you, may I call in about 15-20 minutes or so.." I said "sure". But ever since then until today (2+ days later), still nothing. No reply to any of my email follow-ups and no phone call. During those waiting period, I also tried to directly reach the service dept, but phone just kept ringing and ringing (gave up/hang up/tired/exhausted/hopeless). I am now at Speedee Oil Change getting the service needed (that I originally did NOT get from Central Valley Nissan). Took me 5 minutes with Speedee Oil Change, while lost 4 days (and still gotten nowhere) trying to get assistance from this dealer. SIGH..... read more

So I am car shopping for a new, or new to me vehicle. A pathfinder was one of the models on my list of potential cars I am considering. First visit I got to the lot kind of late (it was dark) but was greeted timely and shown the pathfinder (with covid, they keep all cars closed, which is good) I didn't ask to see inside. Second visit I got to sit in a new pathfinder as well as was shown what they had on their certified used section. Pathfinders are beautiful models and for the price you sure get a lot of vehicle and extras! The sales person was listening attentively and didn't try to push me in any direction I wanted to go in. I like to just stand next to a car, get a feel for it, size it up and think to myself can this be my car? I genuinely appreciate any salesperson that can respect that. I have a very favorable opinion of this lot and the salespeople. The cars were beautiful and kept spotless. I will certainly consider them in the future. read more

At least carmax knows it's illegal to sell someone a car and have someone else make your loan payments. I lost my car and went to them with my mother to get a car and the sales associate told us my mom wasn't allowed to buy a car and have me pay for it but as long as there manager didn't hear us it was fine. He told us he would sell my mom the car in her name and I would make the payments because I had no other choice because my car got totalled. So I payed over $3000 on that car and my mother kicked my girlfriend 2 year old daughter and me out of her house and then took the car because it wasn't in my name now I have no car and had to get another job because they sold my mother a car because she didn't want to cosign she wanted to hold the car over my head and take it away when I needed it. read more

Central Valley Nissan might be able to change oil and rotate tires but forget about anything that has to do with warranty work. My Truck only went there for oil changes and tire rotation and to receive the multi point inspection. But unfortunately everything isn't perfect. First warranty work was done at 7000 miles with drivers seat showing unusual wear.The service manager told me that it would be a one time warranty fix and went and explained to me how to get into my truck. OMG. After over a month the seat covering was replaced. But that took me to work with parts to get the correct parts ordered. Second was a Nissan recall from the NSTB, well made appointment told them I had to wait for it. The service writer said they did the first half of the recall ( download software update) but I need to bring it back to have them finish it. This was around noon and they knew when I brought it in it was for this recall. So after pushing back on them it was done before I left that day. Remember warranty Work. Now back on Feb 27th I called due to a water leak that was coming into the cab of the truck and a couple of smaller issues and oil change. Told them that I have to wait since I live out of the area and I don't have transportation. Arrived on 3/19/2024 at 9 am for my appointment. Told the service writer my concerns and that I have to wait for the truck because of where I live. So I noticed the truck hadn't moved for approximately 4 hours and when questioned about it they are working on it now but I had a lot of things to look at REALLY. So 4:30 comes around and I was told no leak was found even though I had pictures. They said the radio issue was correct with a software update. FYI the radio failed before I even got home and the excuse I got not even Nissan had heard of. Yes I had to call Nissan about the radio problem with apple-car not connecting . Turned out it was the wrong Apple cable I was using. Radio issues fixed. Need upgraded Apple car cable came with my 14 pro. Heavy rain over the weekend and yes roof leak was there. Make another appointment and bring it back in. In the meantime I was looking over my invoice and they actually wrote up the truck for a warranty issue I never asked for them to look at. Maybe that time could have been used to find the water leak. Showed up to the dealership talked to the same service writer again. He said he needs the truck for a few days REALLY so it can sit till they WANT to look at it. Than I get the same speech about appt are for Drop offs REALLY. Also asked when I made the appointment that I wanted the dealership to call me to confirm the service manager would be there, nobody called and told the service writer that I also needed to speak to the service manager when he gets in. So I told the service writer that I can't leave the truck and they will just have to find the leak because it won't be left to collect dust for days out back. So here goes day 2 of sitting around the dealership all day again. So again no updates and I went around 2 to find out the status and he said they found the leak and we're getting it okayed with Nissan and now I can have a car and the truck will need to go to a body shop for repairs. Okay but I'm on vacation and will have to get back in a week to set this up. I go home but still haven't spoken to the service manager even though I sat in that waiting area all day. He didn't come looking for me. Today 6 days later I get a call from a John service manager at Central Valley Nissan say I was looking to speak to him. Told him yes, but too bad you didn't come asking for me the customer. I watched you past me at least ten times and never once came out looking for me or any other person. His comment was you didn't ask for me again my Fault . Failed right out of the gate with that comment. With 6 days to call me that just says customers don't matter to him either. Anyway it's always an issue when dealing with Central Valley Nissan and this guy.. I you don't want to deal with warranty work than change your name on the building. I wasted 16 hours sitting around waiting, 6 hours total driving 2 round trips to the dealership and over 60 plus in gas just to get nothing but excuses and not until I said FIND the leak something happened. Warranty work should not be any different than someone writing a check to get work done. Especially when the appointment was made a month ago. After all this I told them to cancel everything and with Nissan and I will be taking the truck to a dealership that stands behind Nissan customers and their NEW vehicle . Definitely will not be back to this dealership period. I am sure this Nissan dealership is a one off . .Everything starts with ownership than down to the Service Manager. Customer service is definitely not NUMBER ONE HERE. Good luck friends read more

Worst customer service EVER! I made an appointment and dropped my car off at 9am and was told it would be about 3 hours. At 12 there is no update on my car so I call the office. Placed on hold forever only to be told my car hadn't even been started and now it would be ready at 2. At 2pm still no call about my car so I call at 3 to see if it's finally ready another long hold to be told it's just finishing up. Again no call and no heads up! I will never return here again. The young idiots at the service desk should be calling people and letting them know about delays with their cars instead of playing on their phones. Nissan is quick to call and ask you to add services but they won't call you and let you know they're gonna take 6+ hours to do your service. Don't take so many cars if you can't get through them! John was very rude regarding the services done to my husbands car. A week ago, I had them do a transmission flush to my Nissan Sentra. Upon looking at it, they made me purchase a drive belt from them and they said my car would be fine after that. They claim they road tested the vehicle, and the vehicle was in good condition to go. The total I spent with them for services was 300$+. The check engine light came on the day after they supposedly fixed it. The only place I drove it to was to work and back. On my way back from work the check engine light popped up. I ended up calling them and asked them if they could check it out, which they agreed to. After them checking it, they said that transmission was completely failed. Mind you this, I drove less than 80 miles with that car. (I bought another car while all of this was going on, of course NOT from Nissan in Modesto.) I asked for a refund since they didn't tell me the transmission failed, when it literally only took a day to check. I'm sure they either knew about it, or they didn't even check my car! John said he couldn't give me a refund and that the transmission was my fault because "the transmission could go out in a mile, even after they checked it, and it probably released sludge." He said the only thing they could do was put the "300$+ towards the purchase of a new transmission from Nissan." I'm not going to spend 3500 on a transmission that I can get for cheaper from someone I know. The worst part about this was that John was being extremely rude! The tone and the way he's was speaking to me was not even close to professional. Hell, I would get fired from my job if I EVER spoke to someone that way. Merry Christmas. I would not take your car to get serviced here! Take it to Tracy Nissan, it's worth the drive. read more

took vehicle in for an oil change (2024 nissan kicks) brand new car, after a few days i discovered oil all over our driveway(puddle size 14x14 inches) called dealership immediately after noticing and they promised a call this is friday morning. Saturday comes around and still not a single call, so i decided to call again and service was closed but Kim or Neil or service managers would call me monday first thing. Monday came around and not a single phone call i left Kim, Neil, and conner a vm. no response. I then call again tuesday upset at this point demanding one of these individuals on the line. No one had a clue, they even refused to tow the vehicle in. finally just decided to drive it in and they fixed issue but now promised to call me to fix driveway. We will see when that call comes.
