Adrian is the quintessence of what a service professional should be: technically excellent; absolutely honest; incredibly responsive and gracious; and totally committed to solving your problem. Let me tell you a story. Last week my refrigerator stopped working. Dead cold (or should I say dead warm). No motor, no lights. I checked Yelp and after reading the reviews I decided to call Centric Subzero Repair. Adrian himself answered the phone and I described the problem. He said it sounded to him like it was an electrical power issue and not a refrigerator issue, but he would be happy to check it out. Unfortunately he had no appointments until the next day so he referred me to another repair service. I called them and they were also unable to come same day, so I called Adrian back and scheduled an appointment for the following day -- but since he had diagnosed the problem (over the phone) as an electrical issue, he then talked me through how to take off the top panel of the refrigerator and expose the power plug. Which I did. And sure enough the outlet had no power. So I called an electrician who came that day and made the diagnosis of a broken circuit breaker, repaired it, and voila, everything was working. [By the way, if you do have a similar problem of a non-functioning electrical outlet, get yourself one of those orange electrical extension cords and plug the refrigerator into another (working) power outlet; unfortunately, I had moved all the food out into the garage where is was extremely cold before figuring out this little trick]. I called Adrian back and told him there was no need for him to come out but that I would be happy to schedule a preventive maintenance service call for later. He said that truthfully if the refrigerator was working properly, all that needed to be done was to vacuum the coils which he talked me through how to do-- no need for him to come out to check out the refrigerator. If I EVER need service on my Sub-Zero refrigerator, the only person I will call is Adrian and Centric Subzero Repair. Do yourself a favor and do the same. read more

Adrian, Centric's owner and repairman extraordinaire, is unquestionably one of the most professional service providers I've ever met. Whether onsite at your home or business fixing Sub-Zero appliances - which is all they do - or calling for advice on who to contact for service on other appliances, he's always extremely responsive and provides outstanding input. He has a great network of folks who repair other brands that we've had great success with as well. We've had Adrián to our home a couple of times to fix our Sub-Zero refrigerator, and on both occasions he's extremely good at diagnosing the issues, pinpointing the fix, and quickly making the repair in an efficient, low key way. He's extremely ethical and focused on only dong what needs to get done vs. trying to sell things that aren't needed. One recent example of this is that I called him to describe a squeak in the refrigerator door when opened. Instead of trying to schedule an appointment with a minimum service charge, he suggested some things I could try and do to fix the problem on my own. They worked. Adrian came to the house on time, diagnosed the problem ordered the part at a fair price, ie didnt mark it up like some repairs would, he was clean and efficient, returned the next day to replace the part...he had it overnight delivered and we were up and running. He showed us the problem and explained why it was happening so that you didnt feel like you were being hoodwinked. It was the evaporator, a big repair. We have a 2002 Sub zero refrigerator freezer. He was very polite and did the repair remarkedly fast, it seems like some repair men diddle around, but not Adrian. He also gave us good recommendations on our unit, honest assesments for what is a good unit and what is not based on his repair history. Because of Adrian we are still enjoying our unit now going into its 15th year of life. Adrian is who I call first for any issue with our subzero, as he is so knowledgeable and helps us with trouble shooting over the phone and even if it is an appliance he doesnt cover, I trust him so much that I appreciate his guidance to others in the business. When it comes to finding a reliable source to repair an item I always check out the reviews.......that's how I found Adrian of Centric Subzero Repair. Based upon my experience, ALL the reviews were accurate and if and when I ever have another Subzero problem, I will definitely call Adrian. I had a couple of problems, one regarding leaking water from the refrigerator side of my Subzero and another with the ice-maker not working. He immediately diagnosed both problems and fixed them in short order at a reasonable price. What's interesting is that the ice-maker was recently replaced by another repair company; although they replaced the ice-maker, and it has worked for a couple of years, they did not address the actual cause of the problem. As Adrian was diagnosing, he took pictures with his iphone to show me the actual causes of the problems and, as such, I felt extremely confident with his recommendations. I couldn't be more happy with his service, knowledge, demeanor and professionalism. If you own a Subzero refrigerator, call Adrian......that's all he does is repair only Subzero refrigerators. read more

I had been having a issue with my sub zero. The temperature would get really warm at times . I called Centric about 1630 on a Friday and left a message. They close @ 1700 but my called was returned by Adrian around 1645. I was like wow this is great! He told me he was really busy and probably could not get to me until early the next week! But was kind and offered to send someone from another company. He told me they could come sooner. I was like I will wait for you after reading the great reviews on yelp! So glad I waited he explained what was going on gave me a price and fixed the problem. He was friendly and just a pleasure to have someone so knowledgeable and confident to work on your sub zero! Adrian knows Sub Zero! He took the time to fully diagnose the whole system -- I had multiple issues after 17 years and (my fault) very little maintenance. He didn't try to sell me anything, even advised that I could replace the whole thing with a new refrigerator for about twice the cost to repair my old one. But the Sub Zero is built to last a lifetime and it was worth it replacing parts. He has most of them on his truck, but I had to order a couple of items. He worked around my schedule and finished the work in less time than projected. I recommend Adrian with complete confidence! He also gave me an education in refrigeration, explained everything, and I almost regret it is unlikely I will see him again for a very long time as his work was so thorough! read more

Adrian had come out a few years ago and we were pleased with his service then, so when a clip on our French door freezer broke and we were wondering if we needed a seal replaced, we did not hesitate to call Centric. Adrian fixed the broken clip but also showed us why our freezer drawer was not closing all the way and constantly needling defrosting. It was not the seal but the grease that freezes up. Simply ensuring the freezer drawer is being opened all the way prevents the grease from freezing and allows the drawer to completely close eliminating frost build up. THANK YOU Adrian! I am so happy to have found Adrian and Centric Subzero Repair. Adrian is knowledgeable, polite, friendly, honest, professional and he saved us a lot of money. Adrian suggested we call to see if our part was under warranty..I would never have thought 10 years later anything was under warranty..and Adrian was correct..it was under warranty!!! Sub-zero sent us the part and we saved hundreds of dollars! It seems to take other repair people several trips to complete a job and they expect you to wait hours for them each time. Ice had formed on the back inside wall of our subzero and subsequently, water was leaking onto our kitchen floor. We were able to schedule a repair appointment quickly and Adrian arrived per schedule. He carefully examined our refrigerator explaining what he was doing, then diagnosed freon leaks in the evaporator. It was a fairly big job - extracting the old evaporator and installing a new one - but Adrian clearly knew what he was doing and was not only efficient in his labor, but took care to clean behind the inside panel and other hidden areas, as well. And all of this service rendered by a really nice guy. Always a plus! We will definitely use them again. read more

Had such an impressive experience with this company that I felt compelled to write a review. I sent an urgent request for service for my non-working refrigerator at 10pm last night. I received a phone call at 8am this morning from the owner, Adrian, who was in my area and could be onsite by 9:30am. Adrian arrived on-time, and after 15 minutes, I had a diagnosis and an estimate. By 10:30am my frig was working again. I wish every company had this firm's commitment to fast, diligent, and customer-focused experience. Amazing! This was the second time I've needed to call about our SubZero. The first time, Adrian diagnosed the issue over the phone and he was right. We had a quick turnaround appointment for an extremely good price. Then, over this past weekend I sent an email to him about another issue. Before I even woke up on Monday (!) he had called and left a voice mail with an idea on how to troubleshoot it. It worked! I am stunned and so pleased. Adrian at Centric Sub-Zero repair was a dream come true! An appliance service /repair professional who showed up as promised and exceeded all our expectations! We thought we had a door seal problem and were prepared to spend $$ to replace the gaskets and Adrian took one look and figured out we had a bearing problem that some simple maintenance could fix. When my Sub-Zero stopped cooling properly, I did not know who to call. Boy am I glad I found Centric. Adrian is the best. He managed to squeeze me in the next day to diagnose the problem and return 2 days later with the parts to do the repair. The cause of the problem proved to be elusive but Adrian kept at it for several hours until he discovered the culprit - a small hole in the evaporator. Adrian came to repair my almost 30-year old Sub-Zero refrigerator, and he was fantastic. He came quickly, after discussing the issue on the phone. This is the person to call if you have a problem with your Subzero. Adrian, was pleasant, professional and an expert at his job. He walked me through his diagnosis and repair of the problem in my freezer unit. Additionally, he pointed out condensation in the fridge that I had thought was normal. He showed me where a drain was clogged and cleaned it all out. He also made a slight adjustment to my heavy 736T door which had been hitting the freezer door. His bill was reasonable. Our Sub-Zero is 26 years old. It has had some problems - both gaskets have been replaced. The lower return springs aren't helping to close the doors. The freezer was not keeping food cold. Adrian responded to our call and I'll tell you. He did a great job and the two of us decided that replacement of the timer for defrost was a good idea - lest he be back in the near future. Greatest idea - the freezer now cools to below 0 with the knob set to 4. OK, I wish more repair persons were as knowledgeable as Adrian. A big thanks. read more
