Owners/Brewers Jordan Copher, Tyler Sankey, and Nick Streeter really made something special here off Cass Street. Chef Nathan Hardin's menu is quite delicious too! We had the Spicy Pimento to start: Spreadable Cheese using Habanero Cheddar served with Fried Saltines. We also had the Classic Boi and Deluxe Boi double with Waffle Fries. The smash burger is unreal! Great flavor, cheesy, awesome sauce, solid skirt... everything you could want in a double smashie! We were a group of 10 and our server was excellent! The whole staff really! We sat outside and enjoyed our food+ mimosas. There was a tv out there so i know if i ever go with my husband he can watch his games (gooooo sports) while i indulge in my mimosas. I'd been studying the menu ever since my friend told me we were going. I ended up going with the avocado tartine and added smoked salmon. It was delicious and went well with a day of heavy drinking!! We also ordered the grazing board for the table which was amazing. I loved the assortment of cheeses and snacks. The butter on the board was bussinnnnn! I was in heaven!! I should mention the bottomless mimosas were $25 and the bottles literally just keep coming! Safe to say we were all feeling nice and toasty by the time we left. We hung out for a while without even getting kicked out I'd love to visit again and try more menu items. The server mentioned the cubano is the best Cuban you'll have. Now I'm always a bit skeptical bc everyone says that lol but the cubano came out looking gooooodT! I didn't try it but my friend who ordered it loved it! Parking was easy and right outside. We parked and checked in pretty quickly with ease. Thanks for the awesome service and experience! I definitely recommend adding district south kitchen & craft to your list of boozy brunch spots!

A colleague and I split a small order of smoked wings with sides of BBQ sauce and blue cheese. Although small, the wings were indeed smoky and crisp. Very tasty, just not a plump wing. I went with the steak frites. A boneless ribeye grilled to temp. Nice dry rub, tender and a thick cut. The fries were dusted with Parmesan and served hot and crispy. My colleague's lentil curry soup gave a WOW response. He wished he had ordered a bowl. There were other interesting entrees on the menu. It's worthy of a return to sample the rest of the menu. This is a very good place to dine.

We were at Cooper's Hawk in Tampa today and were asked to leave the premises by the manager…read morebecause one of our Chihuahuas was making too much noise. We had ordered two appetizers to share , and were finishing when she came over. We were on the outside patio , our Chihuahuas were contained in their carriers, and the only time one of them barked was when the waiter came by. We were there early at 11:30. For 15 minutes we were the only ones out there , then this elderly couple came and when they walked by us the elderly woman gave us a dirty look. Five minutes later another couple sat but further away from us. That woman seemed to be the only one with a problem. I should have asked the manager that if someone had complained about a screaming child( which usually is constant) would they have been asked to leave? I really like the food , and the service but we are contemplating whether to go there again because frankly we felt insulted! We only brought the dogs to begin with because my daughter is going on a trip and she is leaving the dogs with us. So we were exchanging them, and thought we would have lunch. The manager and the elderly couple ruined the experience for us. The manager told us that pets were not permitted but I checked in two different places , and pets are permitted on their patio. I feel they should either change their policy , or inform the manager as to what the policy is because she told us that pets were not allowed! Next time we will meet somewhere in St. Petersburg because that city is very pet friendly!

The service was top notch, and the ambiance was out of this world. To the point where we are planning to attend the themed dinners each month to see if they can continue the high bar they set this night. The star of the show was the food. O M G!! Each course and wine/drink pairing was phenomenal. The cheddar biscuit, shrimp with pimento cheese grits, that succulent pork ribeye, and bourbon ball dessert had us (figuratively) licking plates all night. 10/10 recommend you join the wine club and attend as many of these dinners as possible.

Had brunch here with some girlfriends on a Saturday - brunch time in Hyde park, on the weekend,…read moredoes not bode well for parking - just a heads up for those who may be unfamiliar with the Hyde park area. There are a few parking garages, but even those are a pain because people park like idiots. The parking situation isn't On Swann's fault, but it's an annoying factor. We had reservations well in advance, so we didn't have to worry about a wait. It was reasonably busy for a Saturday at brunch time. The decor and overall ambiance was classy but comfortable, which is great imo. Our server was nice and checked on us a good amount of times. The wait time between ordering our food and it coming to the table felt a bit lengthier than I would typically expect, but the food was delicious so it's hard to even complain about that. I got the short rib hash and a croissant and both items were wonderful. The croissant was flaky and buttery, it comes with a honey dip and butter on the side, would def get again. The short rib hash was also a menu item I would order again - the eggs were cooked perfectly, and I'd say I'm a little picky with how runny my eggs are. These were runny, but not TOO runny. The potatoes had a nice crisp to the outside but nice and soft on the inside, the short rib was so tender, so juicy, it was just a very well rounded, great tasting hash. This was my first time visiting On Swann for brunch, I'll be back for sure, but maybe on a weekday instead of the weekend since it seems to get pretty crowded in the Hyde Park Village area!
