So as you can see we've been enjoying this excellent, family recipe for quite some time. Very recently this place closed down for a few weeks with no explanation whatsoever. We all thought the economy had finally done this pizza joint in and had gone out of business. But lo and behold, I see on Instagram they are back on. Yay, let's order!! Ughhhhhhhh. We've passed by 2-3 times this week during the evening and during the day and the door is closed and the sign says closed. We have called also and all it does is makes us wait and says "your call is important to us" but no answer. My parents always took us here when we were kids that was 20 years ago and we always loved it no complains.. but now I don't know if you guys changed the recipe or don't care but it's been twice that my pizza is burn . The first time we were like okay maybe they were busy but this second time same burn and tasted different I'm not sure if you guys changed the cheese or what's going on . They have good pizza it very greasy though literally have to put a napkin to take of some of the grease, the salad is really good as are the potato wedges. They get a solid 2 stars. After reading the reviews for this place I decided to give it a shot and pick up a pie to take home. I ordered their deluxe pizza which came with most of their toppings. Here is the lowdown: The pizza had a decent flavor to it. It was really enjoyable until we started to notice how greasy the pizza actually was. There was grease coming from the bottom of the pizza, the crust on the end, and seeping up from the cheese. It made us question the quality of the cheese. Greasy cheese is never a good thing. Also, the mushrooms were very rubbery with a texture straight out of a can. The next day when I reheated the pizza in the microwave it was so greasy my pizza shined like a star. It wasn't the worst pizza I've ever had but it definitely will not command a repeat performance. The taste was definitely solid but the grease was a turnoff. I highly recommend the Jumbo Deluxe pizza. You know how you go to Little Caesar's pizza and you get 90% bread, tomato sauce, and SOME toppings that made their way to the pizza by accident? lol Well, this pizza is the polar opposite of that. You get real soft pizza dough bombarded with all these fresh toppings that haven't been sitting around frozen, sacrificing taste. It's the real deal, baby. Oh, and if you're gonna get the "Antipasto," (salad) get it with the Italian dressing. You think Olive Garden has a good salad? You're in for a treat here, man. Don't take my word for it.
