Service experience was lacking for my first time and will be the last time there. Food wise... ceviche was eh! Had better ... $10 for 2 tacos with little to nothing inside. Ordered the tenderloin taco but they brought chicken. With service taking forever it wasn't worth sending back! I had the burrito but it was more of a rice burrito.. hardly had anything else inside. On our way home from Miami, we were looking for a restaurant with cheviche and stumbled upon this one. It is off I75 heading west on Sheridan Street on the right in a strip shopping center, but you have to backtrack back towards 75 to find it. The restaurant decor is superb. It feels like you are in Mexico or Peru. The waitress was even transplanted. Although sweet, she kept speaking to us in Spanish. We had to keep reminding her to speak English. The food was prepared quickly. We sat outside in the balmy South Florida breeze. The outside patio area was decorated just as enchanting as the inside. I ordered the salmon ceviche and my husband had a rice bean burrito. My meal was like a work of art! You didn't want to eat it because it was so pretty! I feel the portion could have been more, but surprisingly, it was filling. My husband enjoyed his burrito. This restaurant is relatively new. It was opened Dec. 2021. I would highly recommend it. I totally found this place thanks to instagram... it was an ad and I bit! Lol they were offering a free lomo saltado poke. I came in had a couple drinks and enjoyed the delicious poke bowl. Having been to their Miami location that is packed and vibrant and fresh and amazing, I had high expectations for the Davie location that just opened. I should have known when there was only one occupied other table when we walked in that we were in trouble. They have a literally turned their entire amazing menu into ceviche McDonald's. It's terrible. Everything is terrible. The tacos are Cisco fried prepared meat, both chicken and shrimp. The wine was spoiled opened long ago. The cheese appetizer was separated oil. This place is doomed if they don't change. I told the waitress who was so sweet and she said I'm dying for you to talk to my manager, she disappeared for some time, and he never came out. The last time we ate in this location it was called Blue taco but now it is under new management and a NEW menu! This staff is very friendly and attentive. They offered free drinks once we were seated as this week is free piso sour in celebration of Peru. I noticed they have other locations within Florida. We ordered tuna as an appetizer and I was happy to see the presentation was exactly as the picture of it on their menu. And it was very delicious! We ordered the bao beef buns with pineapple which had so much flavor, the sushi roll,(they only have 1 sushi roll) and it was excellent and also one more Appetizer with rice balls and it was really good as well. First time at Ceviche Divino and oh my what a great experience. All the food was unique and delicious. My party ordered two Anticuchero Bao Buns portions ( 2 steak marinated like anticuchos in bao buns per order), tostone con chicharrón, crispy cilantro rice with salmon and Ceviche del Mercado (my only complain in this plate is that it wasn't corvina fish but still very good). Highly recommend the churros with lucuma ice cream and dulce de leche for desert after enjoying great plates. The style of this restaurant is more tapas so don't expect to have big portions. My second time here and I made much better decisions on what to eat. Pork Belly Tapas was definitely the best of the three items. There was a uniqueness to it. Not overly baring with fat and oil, but light with a touch of ceviche flavor. Don't expect a southern style pork belly! 4.2/5 for its unique spin. Ceviche Trio was good. But nothing out of the norm. You do get ample fish. 3.5/5 good, but not above and beyond. Enough for 2 people so $31 isn't as bad as it seems, but def on the higher end. Crispy Cilantro Roll. Def unique! Cilantro rice square with salmon on top. I was thinking similar to a crispy rice spicy tuna, so I was expecting crispy rice. It's good, but don't expect cilantro flavor or crispiness. 4/5 for uniqueness and creativity. 3.5/5 for flavor. Got the churros for dessert. Was fortunate to visit this establishment during happy hour in which drinks per half price. I had the passion fruit margarita which was amazing. The drink was in a bar glass so not too much with just enough alcohol. By my second glass, I was doing the happy dance. I ordered the fried corvina combo with bao bun and tortilla. The fish was perfectly fried and had great flavor. I enjoyed the tortilla more than the bao but it was nice to experience the difference in taste. I also had the steak taco which was tender and seasoned well however I must say the fish had me won over. Great atmosphere and great food and drinks. I'd say just the right amount. Nice chunks of sea bass, onion slices, choclo. Enough for 2-4 to share as an appetizer. Toston con Chicharrón - WOW! So many flavors!! I've had stuffed tostones before, but never like these. And when they say chicharron they mean chicharron! Crispy chicharron! Anticuchero Pollo - My favorite of the 3 Taco/Bao options we tried. You can't go wrong with the Anticuchero chicken. The Bao buns are fluffy and just take it to another level. You get some pickled onion and a picante sauce on the side if you want to add a little kick. Sooooo good! Anticuchero Tenderloin - We enjoyed it, but thought it was on the saltier side. Still very good, but the chicken wins. Crispy Chicken - Deep fried chicken with spicy Mayo. I wasn't crazy about it. Lots of deep fried panko, but it just wasn't my favorite. Again, the fluffy Bao buns with the crispy chicken is definitely a party in your mouth with all the different textures and flavors. Overall, this meal was incredible. Went on a weekend. Opt for outdoor dinning as I had my dog. They brought out a water dish for her :)! The hostess recommended to us her favorite appetizers, which was the tostones and the avocado chips. Both very delicious and had a good amount of seasoning! We decided to try this spot, which is conveniently located west of I75. We were promptly greeted and seated. We ordered Pisco Sours, which were wonderful. For appetizers, we ordered an acevichado roll and a ceviche de aji Amarillo! We also tried the Lomo saltado and chaufa rice. The desserts all seemed delicious. We tried the picarones. I liked the music. Does not match the restaurant. But the food was "ok". Extremely over priced. The lomo saltado had good flavor yet barely any lomo.. Portion vs price. Too expensive for the portion served . More unions and fries than meat. The arroz chaufa was not real arroz chaufa.. again the price for seasoned rice , 2 shrimp 2 small pieces of meat and 3 of chicken was too much and I didn't like the taste. Knocked a star for terrible service and knocked a second star for ridiculously tiny portions, everything we ordered looked like a kids meal portion it was nothing short of comical. We are three people, werent even that hungry and we ordered 4 appetizers and 3 entrees to be complete. Total was about $125. First regarding the service the time we waited for entrees after apps exceeded an hour which i have to attribute to someone forgetting to put our order in. No one checked on us in that time, water didnt get refilled, we asked for coke about four times before getting one. The sushi roll was super unique and refreshing we loved it and its the only item i think was normal size. second was the tostone con chicharon it was delicious but only came with three tiny bites. Queso fundido, ok but nothing special and again, tiny. The arroz con mariscos was not only tiny but the rice was rock hard and under cooked-for the hour we waited this is unacceptable. The burrito was itty bitty comparable to $2 tacobell burrito, flavors were ok but overall very plain. The taco and bao bun as an entree is quite literally a joke ill add a pic of a small handed person grabbing it, was a total of 4 bites combined for the whole plate.
