He asked for a side of rice for $4 so $31 for an appetizer size of ceviche? not even brickell charges this! Not even rusty pelican and you're over looking the waterfront! My chaufa was served in a small bowl and my ceviche in a martini glass?!? We never spent $63+ ($10 tip)= $73 to leave hungry from any where with no drinks or desserts this is a scam! read more

Today I had a business lunch at a customers office and had the task of getting lunch for about eight people. Doral is packed with good choice we're to eat out, but to pick up and make sure food was good is critícale for a good business lunch. Cevichino restaurant was actually recommended by one of the employee at company was visiting and what a great choice. Parking lot was small and shopping center parking was small but full, but made it into restaurant in good time and prevales order was ready. Wish I would have gotten name of girl that took order has everything ready and helped me take to car as she was awesome! I ordered Lomo Salteado and it came with white rice, fries and was absolutely fantastic. Next time will be back and eat at this small family owned restaurant and try the complete experience. This restaurant is in a shopping plaza in the Doral area. You'd never think such amazing food would exist in a hidden 'gem' like this one. A colleague who is friends with the chef/owner invited me. All food is made to order, and the ingredients are fresh/obtained every day (from what he told me). The ceviche is absolutely amazing. One portion feeds one as a main course. I'd suggest sharing so that you try different plates. Peruvian cuisine diverse, so look at around and get adventurous. I will say this: everything that we ate was/tasted: fresh, delicious, and yummy. We found this spot by chance. Super delicious food and great service. The dishes were very tasty and fresh. For starters we had Ceviche de Camaron. Our entrees were the Lomo Saltado and Chaufa de Carne. We ended the meal with a delicious flan. Our taste buds were thanking us. We have been going to Cevichino for years as it is my fathers favorite. The food is always fresh and delicious, great service and a wonderful ambience. My Dad catered my birthday dinner (takeout) from there last night and the food was excellent. A lovely Chaufa rice and the best lomo salteado I have ever had. I love to let my french fries soak in the lomo sauce. I will continue to drive from the Grove to eat their delicious food! Even my baby devoured it. read more

Super Great food! The anticucho were surprisingly soft and savory and the potatoes brought along with it were cooked to its point. The chef also shared some stories about his father and the food brought out which was very pleasant. The Chicha was perfect and had a light cinnamon taste which was very refreshing whilst eating so much food. Ceviche is one of my favorite foods and I believe Cevichino offers delicious, authentic Peruvian food. The quality of the food alone is worth 5 stars. However, I wasn't impressed with the service. The service wasn't terrible, but little things here and there need to be improved. Example: we ordered a ceviche plate, and half way through the meal the waiter brings lime and additional sauces for us to try it with. Again, the quality of food is delicious, and I will return regardless to try different plates. read more

This is the worst service I've ever received in my entire life and the food wasn't even cooked properly. They didn't have any sauces, not even ketchup. Their restaurant closed at 11pm, however I got there at 10:10. I sat at the bar and ordered a Papa a La Huancaína. The moment I received my food, she gave me the check and pestered me several times about putting my card on the tab and putting the food in a to-go box. I hadn't even started eating yet because I was waiting for my friend to come from another restaurant to get sauce for me. I'm almost done with my meal as my friend gets there at 10:50 and the two waitresses start to talk bad about us behind our backs and complain that we're there. Every Friday all the employees at the company I work for (10-12 people depending on meetings) go as a group to eat together. It's a nice way to get out of the office after a long week of work. This is by far the worst place we've stepped into during the last 1 1/2+ years. First, the only positive: the food was decent to good depending on the dish. My chicken was ok but my coworker's Lomo Saltado was very good. But other than that it was a terrible experience. The service was horrendous. The waitress immediately started with the excuse of not being able to split checks. No one asked for our drink order, which is weird considering that's money out of their pocket. Some people eventually ordered orange juice after noticing they squeezed it fresh at the counter but when asked how much long it would take to get their juice the waitress rudely responded the Latin equivalent of "its around". Like the wait for juice, the wait for food was ridiculous. Despite being a big group we've never had to wait so long for meals. It wasn't a case of the restaurant waiting to bring out all the food at once either. Plates trickled in one or two at a time with so much separation that one member of our group hadn't received his food even after everyone else was done eating. Why? Because the waitress never put his order in in the first place. We heard her yelling to the cook after we asked her where it was. The owner eventually came out and spoke to us. Very friendly person but blamed the wait on the size of our group. And that excuse might have flown if it weren't for the fact that another table of only two people had the same problem with wait time. They had actually gotten up and told the waitress to forget their food since they had to return to work. (its worth noting is that another table of two arrived later than they did and had already received their food). He told us that big groups should call in orders first so he can get the food started. A valid point but if you can't handle large groups of walk-ins then make that known before the large group sits down. After asking for our checks we were in for another long wait. Eventually one person offered to put it all on his card so most of us could get back to work. The group with the person who payed returned to the office another full twenty minutes after everyone else arrived (this place is less than a few minutes away from the office by car). Per his story, the first check he received had four more dishes of ceviche charged to it than were ordered. The waitress corrected her mistake but the new check had $65 in extra mandatory gratuity. The waitress again used the excuse that so many checks caused the problem. Needless to say this is the first place in all of Doral that we have unanimously decided is no longer an option for our weekly Friday company outtings. read more

Forget all of the other reviews. I stepped into this restaurant on a Friday night and for the 2 hours I was there, there was only one couple eating there. The first impression of the restaurant was extremely depressing. The service was awful, the waiter seemed as if he didn't know what language we were talking in.
