Great experience! My husband and I have wanted to try this place out. We have been to the OTR location a few times but this place is closer to home. We put a reservation in for a weeknight evening and easily showed up and got seated at our time. Probably didn't need the reservation but who knows? We both shared the meal for two. I can't remember exactly what it's called but it was totally worth it. The money spent was well worth it and the food was just amazingly delicious! From all of the meats to the empanadas, we were happy! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambience here was pretty nice. Very eclectic but also very rancho in South America kind of vibe that you get at Argentine places.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Definitely would return! We learned that brunch has come back so we definitely want to come back for brunch someday since we haven't had brunch at the OTR location in a few years since they got rid of it. Glad to have this place nearby!

Step into Argentina at Ché!! From the cozy intimate atmosphere & top tier service to the incredible food, everything feels like an authentic experience! Starting as a food truck 2014, Juan Imeroni teamed up with Alfio Gulisano have now grown an empanada empire with 2 restaurant locations & catering as well! They're known for their delicious empanadas, but their whole menu is filled with authentic cuisine that will have you coming back for more. My Server, Gabby, was so kind & extremely knowledgeable. She helped me navigate my way through the menu with ease! I got the Yuca Fries, Triple Dip, De Carne, Jerk Chicken & Cubano Empanadas, Spiced Pork Rinds, Ché Hamburguesa & Ché Fries, 1 of each sauce, and a Blueberry Cheesecake Empanada for dessert. Each bite was bursting with bold flavors & had me craving more! My favorite was the De Carne Empanada with the Jalapeño Crema, phenomenal!! This is the perfect place for a romantic date night, so grab your boo & take a trip to Ché! You will not be disappointed!! 2038 Madison Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45208 https://checincinnati.com/ Instagram & TikTok: @biteswithmissb #biteswithmissb #che #foodiereview #smallbusinesssupporter #cincinnati

long story short: decent food, decent service We went as a big group (7 people) & they were very accommodating to our size. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant itself is eclectically decorated, which I thought added a lot of fun character to the place.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our waiter was good, but maybe not the most knowledgeable; one person in our group asked his preference between two wines and he said, "they're both malbecs, so they both taste the same to me." He was attentive and quick, though, so the service was good overall. We got a wide variety of food an everyone enjoyed. I got three empanadas- jerk chicken, cubano, and chicken salsa verde. They were all a bit mild in flavor, but the green salsa helped with that. The empanada shell was wonderfully crispy and flakey and the fillings varied; the salsa verde was my favorite while the cubano was disappointing because it was a bit bland. I heard both the wings and the tater tots were a bit overly crispy but still good. Overall, the food was good but I'm not rushing to go back.

Food was amazing!! Short ribs and meats were amazing! Chris our server was the best, friendly and informative. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Place is a good vibe, 10/10, would go back.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Came to Ché for the first time for an early Sunday dinner! We arrived a bit earlier than our reservation but it was no issue! [[HIGHLIGHT]]I absolutely love the atmosphere here- super cozy, comfortable, it was great.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I absolutely recommend the queso and guacamole- coming from someone who is not the biggest guac lover, this was my favorite guacamole I've ever had! The queso was amazing as well- there was not a drop left. We've all never had empanadas before, and they blew us away. The short rib, jerk chicken, and spinach ones are my absolute favorites! The sauce options are so necessary too. Love Ché, I want to come back to try the tacos and in the summer to sit on the patio!

This was another restaurant on our bucket list. We went to the Che' at the Over The Rhine location years ago and really enjoyed it. This restaurant is very close to us and I like this location better. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The inside is very rustic with an eclectic Spanish style decor. Loved it! Very inviting and cozy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We went on an early Saturday dinner and got lucky to be seated right away. Reservations are recommended because they get super busy. The main reason why we came here is mainly for their specialty empanadas and the wing special (wing week). So we get two in one visit! Even better! Their menu has so much to offer but so hard to choose from. Entrees, salads, tacos, appetizers and of course their empanadas. Drink menu of course has a great selection. We ordered: Drinks: -Humberto Canale Malbec -Quilmes lager Dinner: -House-smoked wings tossed in a sriracha picante red chili sauce -Empanadas: four cheese, mushroom and feta, short rib, chicken salsa verde, Korean BBQ, De Espinaca -Side of Roasted Brussels sprouts We didn't have to wait long. Our empanadas were amazing. Their chimchurri sauce that came with it paired well! I especially love the Gorgonzola sauce as well, included with our wings! The wings were very tender and had great flavor. Their Brussels Sprouts is a must get if you want an extra side. It's hard to choose a favorite. They were all good. We had such a great experience and I can't wait to go back. The service was great! I may have to grab their empanadas to go in the refrigerated section next time I come back.

My lady and I went to the Che downtown a while back so we knew we had to try this location sometime too. Their empanadas were so good the first time so we knew they were gonna be good this time too. Even better was the fact that they were participating in Cincinnati Wing Week. We went on a Saturday for dinner and they were just starting to get busy. Reservations are definitely recommended because they do get a lot of business. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We were sat at a table in the bar area that was very cool and had a retro/upscale divy feel.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Their menu is just like the one downtown, loaded with Argentinian-inspired dishes of all kinds. Plus they have a full bar with plenty of options for libations (including Quilmes, my favorite Argentinian lager). We ordered the wings of course which were tossed in a sriracha picante red chimi sauce and served with gorgonzola dressing. We also got six empanadas (short rib, de espinaca, four cheese, chicken salsa verde, Korean BBQ, and mushroom & feta) and a side of roasted brussel sprouts. For drinks, my lady had a glass of the Humberto Canale malbec and I had a Quilmes. Even though they were getting busy, we didn't wait long at all before everything came out. The wings were super tasty and had just the right amount of spicy kick. The sprouts were some of the best I've had in a while. And the empanadas were as epic as always. Speaking of said empanadas, you can get them to go in take-and-bake packages now too, so you can enjoy them fresh at home. So glad to know we have a great empanada spot with minutes of where we live. I have no doubt we'll be stopping by here again for more and more wings. Though I bet those aren't the only tasty options on theie menu and I'd like to find out.

Ché has been on my list for restaurants I wanted to check out for quite a while now so I was excited to finally get to eat here! We got there a little after 8 on a weeknight, so the only other customers there were on their way out. We got seated right away, then they brought us waters without us having to ask, which was nice. I stuck with water, but hubby ordered the Kick In The Face Cocktail with habanero, which was tasty but very spicy! We ordered 4 different empanadas between the two of us so we could try a variety and they were all very good. I think I liked the Cuban the best, but it really was difficult to choose a favorite because they were all really that good. Service was very quick and very attentive and even though it was getting close to closing time, we didn't feel rushed. We will absolutely be back!

If you haven't had an empanada from Ché, stop what you're doing and go! These delightfully fried pastries are Argentina's favorite street food. Ché started as a food truck, then they opened in Over-the-Rhine in 2016, and a couple of years ago expanded close to my home in O'Bryonville. My wife and I have visited multiple times recently. Each time at least one of us had the mushroom and feta, the chicken salsa verde, and the jerk chicken. These are good ones to start with. I've also heard great things about the short rib. They also have more interesting flavor combinations such as buffalo chicken or even a Cuban. They cost $4.75 each, and I think two or three make for a good meal. The menu at Ché also features tacos, sandwiches, salads, and more. Plus a full bar with some awesome cocktails and a great draft beer selection.

It is on the pricier side. Empanadas should not be that small and pricy. The staff are real nice on the plus side.
