I loved the vibe of this place. It was dimly lit and there was artwork in every corner of the place. We started off with the sangria and ordered the papas bravas, guac and ceviche. The papas bravas are a must have- the spicy sauce is amazing. The guac was some of the better guac I've ever had and I loved it. Ceviche I could've done without, it wasn't my favorite. The food came out super quickly and the waiters were awesome!

I'm shocked this place isn't 5 stars across the board. Never been here with anyone who didn't love it! People's personal tastes must be whack if they don't like the food seriously. Everything I've had from here was seasoned perfectly, nothing is too salty or sweet whether it be their perfect Paella Mixta, the best calamari in the Bay Area, or their always fire in house Sangria and mixed drinks. The lighting is always perfect too, especially with the Bay Area fog it creates such a great vibe you won't experience anywhere else. It is expensive but so worth it! I'm always chomping at the bit to make the trek back every chance I get!

The seasoning on the yucca fries was delicious! I enjoyed the vaca frita though I did wish that there was a stronger lime flavor and I personally was not a fan of having plantains in a savory dish. The Cajun shrimp sauce was warm and comforting. The staff were attentive and great!

Are delicious guacamole, and chips and salsa. The salsa was so fresh and delicious. We asked for two extra servings.

Cha Cha Cha in San Francisco makes a delicious Spinach salad! Went here with some friends who were visiting from Phoenix, Arizona, and wanted to visit all of the thrift shops on Haight. We ended up going to Cha Cha Cha for lunch and loved the entire fun and lively experience. This Caribbean restaurant is a vibe and they play wonderful music. They also have a great variety of different Caribbean dishes, but I recommend the Cuban sandwich and the spinach salad. Their guacamole and chips and salsa were to die for as well. The staff is friendly and our food came out pretty quickly considering the place was packed. Look forward to coming back here and trying some new dishes.

Came in during happy hour on a Wednesday, no wait! My friend had recommended cha cha cha and LOVES their cajun shrimp so we had to try. And I now completely understand the hype the sauce alone is soooo good and dipping it with the bread too. The tres leches was good but not my favorite. Great place to grab drinks and catch up with friends!

Always a good time! The festive decor, the lighting at dinner time, the colors, the vibe is awesome in here. A reliable DATE NIGHT spot. You know you'll have food and fun The best SANGRIA! Tastes sweet like juice, it will get you feeling good. You can eat the delicious wine infused fruit after too. You'll forget this is wine The food is fantastic: -Jerk chicken is so tender just perfectly cooked -Cajun shrimp: the sauce is buttery and tasty, plenty to dip your bread into -calamari is ok, not especially flavorful, comes with lemon and tartar sauce and marinara sauce on the side Service is efficient! They've got this down

Stopped by while strolling Haight-Ashbury on Labor Day. Had good music and good vibes. Pretty fast service. I liked that the music wasn't too loud. My friend and I shared the jerk chicken and paella which was more than enough food for both of us. Jerk chicken: 4/5 Really big portion size. The jerk sauce was super unique and the chicken was soo flavorful. Paella mixta: 4/5 Also huge portion size. Had so many different things in it. Mussels, shrimp, chicken, scallop, fish, sausage (which we didn't eat), squid, calamari. I liked the olives in it. Rice was well seasoned too. Kinda wish it was only seafood to get more of the seafood flavor.

Overall, the food was good. My favorite was the cajun shrimp as the sauce was savory and creamy. The spinach paired well with the bacon and mushroom in the salad. The chicken paillard was a bit dry but the mustard sauce was decent. This is a cute restaurant with a good amount of indoor and outdoor seating. There was no wait for a party of 2 on a Saturday morning right when they opened.

Heard a lot of good things about this place so i decided to check it out for with two other friends after a long walk around Golden Gate Park for Saturday lunch and we were sat immediately. We got the Cajun shrimp, jerk chicken, chicken wings, and guacamole and chips to share. The shrimp is so creamy and rich and has a spicy kick. We even asked for extra bread just so we could get all sauce with the bread. The jerk chicken is hands down the best I've had. Absolute flavor bomb. The chicken wings are tossed in this finger licking guava chili sauce. The guac and chips are not as memorable in comparison to the main dishes and maybe we should've gotten the plantain as a side. All the portions are massive and everything's reasonably priced so we ended up feeling super full. The service is fast and friendly. The only thing is we didn't get our water refill that often. The interior has a vibrant and colorful vibe and we came during the 60th Grateful Dead concert weekend so all the other customers also dressed in a funky and colorful way which added to the fun vibes. This place lived up to the hype and would love to come back and try more dishes!

Came here on a weekday night. No reservations, but there were plenty of tables open for a party of 3. Been wanting to try this place since I was in high school. Ended up trying a few different things. Cajun shrimp was creamy and delicious. A rich dish. Wish they gave more bread, so I could eat the rest of the sauce. Jerk chicken was super tender and flavorful. There was so much sauce to go either the rice. Paella mixta was interesting. A variation on the Spanish original, but I prefer the original. The portions were massive. Definitely stuffed by the end of the meal.

Ambiance: it's located in a corner spot, and not too far way from the golden gate and panhandle parks, plenty of outdoor seats and spacious dining room inside, with full bar service in a separate narrow room Service: super friendly and very patient with requests, provided useful suggestion, served food fast and refilled water attentively Food: plenty of choices on their menu, classic Cuban food options and fusion dishes too PAELLA MIXTA - ***** Spanish rice with saffron, mussels, seasonal fish, shrimp, calamari, scallaps, chicken, and andouille sausage, rich in flavors, the rice is so tasty, and seafood combination is very fresh too, a must-try here, highly recommend CUBANO CLASSICO - **** Roasted pork, smoked ham, Swiss cheese, pickles in a pressed baguette, the roasted pork was so good, and the simple ingredients made the sandwich so yummy, recommend Plantain Fries with Pasilla Aioli - **** so crunchy and tasty, recommend Price: generous portions and very affordable prices, expect $30 per person for a hearty meal

Definitely skip this $7 item that you could get at a circle k for $1.50 and it would taste fresher. You order when you walk in and someone delivers your order and then you're left to fend for yourself. We were able to locate some ketchup for the potatoes on our own. Nobody ever checked on us. This is the second place on this visit that's charging an extra 5% fee so that their employees can have a living wage and health insurance, which absolutely, every employee should have. With the prices they charge, they should already be able to do that, though. I read an article about this fee with many different names and I would rather pay a bit higher of a price and know the employees were taken care of than be surprised by this fee later. Two sandwich breakfasts, a mocha and a danish on top of tax and their healthy sf fee was $63. Steep for the quality we got. Won't be back.

Once you step through the doors, however, you're greeted by a space that feels both cozy and contemporary, with an effortlessly stylish atmosphere. Even the restroom was thoughtfully designed and remarkably comfortable--a small detail, but one that speaks to the restaurant's overall attention to detail. We began with the Uni Scallop Toast and Mulhwe as appetizers. As someone who is typically not a fan of uni due to its pronounced brininess, I was genuinely surprised by how much I enjoyed the toast. The bright citrus sauce balanced the richness of the uni beautifully, while the contrasting textures from the crisp toast and delicate scallop created a harmonious bite. The scallop also helped mellow the stronger oceanic notes of the uni. It was a creative and memorable dish unlike anything I've had before. The Mulhwe, a Korean-style fish salad, was dressed in a refreshing apple vinaigrette that gave it a light, summery citrus character. The fish itself had a pleasantly chewy texture--firmer than salmon--with no trace of fishiness. While enjoyable, it didn't leave quite the same impression as the uni toast and was my least favorite dish of the evening. For our entrées, we ordered the Galbi Steak and Pork Jowl Bossam. Both dishes showcased exceptional execution. The meats were cooked perfectly, but what stood out even more was the precision in preparation. The steak was expertly sliced and incredibly tender--so much so that even with braces, it was effortless to enjoy. The pork jowl achieved an ideal balance between lean meat and luscious fat, creating a rich yet satisfying bite. We enjoyed the meal so much that dessert was non-negotiable. The Matcha Tiramisu was a creative interpretation of the classic. A dome of mascarpone cheese encased ladyfinger biscuits at its center, accompanied by a vibrant matcha ganache sauce. The dessert leaned far less sweet than traditional tiramisu, allowing the earthy matcha and creamy mascarpone flavors to shine. It was elegant, balanced, and a wonderful way to end the meal. Lastly, the service was outstanding. Our server was soft-spoken, patient, and genuinely attentive throughout the evening, making the experience feel warm and welcoming. Considering the quality of the food, thoughtful presentation, ambiance, and service, I found the pricing to be completely justified. The toast, scallops, and uni were all served at the same temperature, and the sauce was barely noticeable, adding little to the dish. A contrast in temperature, texture, or a more pronounced sauce would have made it much more enjoyable. The Scallop & Shrimp Salad was overly sweet, which overpowered the delicate flavors of the seafood. The Chicken Wings were decent, but at 4 wings for $18, they felt overpriced. The Mushroom Silk Tofu was beautifully presented and visually appealing. The Black Cod was cooked perfectly--moist, tender, and flaky. However, while the fish itself was excellent, the sauce was forgettable and didn't leave a lasting impression or elevate the dish. Overall, the food was mediocre. While each dish had potential, the flavors often felt disconnected and lacked harmony. Combined with the expensive price point, the overall dining experience didn't justify the cost. The ambiance is lovely, but I left hoping for a more memorable meal. Wouldn't come back.
