Amazing Thai massage and reflexology, however, I was extremely disappointed with the level of noise in the spa. There is no insulation between the massage area and the nail spa. I complained to the manager as I had specifically requested a quiet area. She did not offer any discount or accommodation even considering I am a long-time customer:(. Where did coco go??!!??I would have a 5 even 10 star review if it was for coco alone. I have been coming to the Montana location for about a year once to twice a week to get a massage from coco. I went away for two weeks this summer and when I returned to make my app boom she's gone!!! I seriously feel so sad about it that I am writing a review. She is an angel sent from above and works wonders on my back. I have spent thousands of dollars here and I tip 50$ cash every time because she is that good and worth it!!! I would be paying at least double anywhere else for that type of massage. The service has always been decent, but for about three weeks now I called to make an app with coco and the first week the woman said she was on vacation. After week two she said vacation and didn't know when she's coming back. Sadly on week three I called and simply asked if she worked there still and the lady quickly said idk and just hung up on me. Yesterday I tried to call again because I figured the women didn't work there full time and didn't know but I asked if coco was returning and she did the same saying no then I don't know and hung up. Usually a business I would imagine would ask if you want to see someone else or try to accommodate you instead I got hung up on every time. I do think the nails are always rushed and over priced. My gels never last but the girls are very sweet and I do hair so I don't expect too much from nails lasting anyways. I am a weekly sometimes twice a week customer to their massages and I feel upset that they can't just tell me she's gone or what happened. If anyone knows where she went please please tell me, even if it's just the other locations!! I will happy change my star rating if I can just get a response or real answer as to where she went. She has seriously helped me more than any chiropractor ever has and I feel so sad about it. I have a business myself and I understand people move, or if people are actually on vacation even for a month or more, get hurt, retire, have family issues, or even fired. Whatever the case is I would be happy for her knowing she was gone, but I just simply don't appreciate the ways when I came back my standing app was randomly with someone else that I didn't ask for, was never informed before she was going on vacation and then I was what feels lied to on the phone for three weeks waiting and told they don't know and hang up. If you've never had a chinese style one, go for it and simply tell the front desk person its your first time and/or google chinese foot massage for the deets. During the daytime Cha Spa(s) can be less busy... More likely to be able to get a walk in appointment. Consider Tip generously as the therapists make most of their money from Tips. Be a bit patient with the therapists who tend to not be fluent in English...breathe...chillax... enjoy the pampering that a westsider used to have do travel much further east. read more

I called in advance and made an appointment for a 60-minute reflexology/body combination massage at 8pm on Tuesday, August 6. The price was $50. When the massage was over, I handed the therapist a $5 bill as a tip. She became agitated and rushed me to the front, where she spoke to the receptionist in a language I do not understand. The receptionist charged my credit card for the massage and asked, "More tip?" I explained that I had given the therapist a tip. She repeated, "More tip?" This was a shakedown. I handed over two additional dollar bills and left. The therapist was standing right next to us and glaring at me the entire time, and when I left I heard them laugh. Unless I see an apology and a promise of retraining employees, I would not return. read more

Was on vacation and went here with my girlfriend who was getting a pedicure. I decided, why not, and got a "pedi" myself (my first one ever) - it was excellent! :) The person who did the pedicure made me feel comfortable and made my feet as soft as baby feet. I thought the shop was a cute place and had a good vibe. My girlfriend and I decided to get massages too. I have had a lot of massages in the past and was really impressed by the quality, technique and just how good I felt afterwards. The price point for both the pedicure and massage were excellent. The complimentary herbal/flower tea was also a nice touch. Definitely will revisit this little gem of a place the next time I'm in the neighborhood. read more

Originally I had a little frustration with their expectations of tips, but everything was resolved right away after I expressed my feelings. This review is ONLY for the massage service. I have given less than ten one star reviews so it's rare that I dislike something this much. Their massages service is horrendous. I could go on about how the therapist basically dry rubbed me for an hour, dug her elbows into my legs, and never asked for feedback, but it's not worth it. I'm confident she was never trained so it's not her fault. No therapist who was trained would ever massage like that. Plain and simple. I left laughing with my wife (she had the same experience) at how clear it was that Cha Spa doesn't train their masseuses. Skip it. Get a pedi. read more

I don't know about the massage but I should have walked out when I saw they didn't even have the comfy chairs for pedicure, just a long padded bench with small sinks. This used to be one of my favorite salons for both nails and massages. I've come here fairly regularly for the past few years. The management or front desk staff must have changed more recently as the past few times I've been here, I have been disappointed with the customer service. The quality of the mani/pedis are great, very clean and color stays on for a while. The massages are good but sometimes it's hit or miss, but it's great for a fair-priced decent massage. The last time I was here, it was for a mani/pedi the day before my wedding. I was excited and had made reservations for me, and 3 others. Unfortunately I had a lady who didn't do much at all and left about halfway through the manicure. The nails got done but she didn't do any of the cuticle oil or the hand/arm massage/foot massage. I was even wanting to add parrafin and longer massages to pamper a bit, but she barely finished nails and walked away so I didn't have a chance. When we mentioned it to the front desk, she said I had cream on so she couldn't do any massages. It was a strange response and I was obviously disappointed that after coming here so often, they wouldn't help me celebrate my wedding, let alone just have a normal Mani/pedi. I would like to come back, but I was left with a bad feeling and now need recommendations for new nail salons. I'm hoping the customer service improves here. read more

I had an appointment for 7:15pm and arrived on time. I was seated, and I put my feet in water. Fifteen minutes later the water was cold and my toes were prunes, and I hadn't yet been approached by a nail tech. A tech came over a moment later and said "sorry for the wait". Just then another customer walked in and said she didn't have an appointment but would like a gel mani pedi. The lady who about to help me said to me "can you wait for my colleague to help you?" and then started working on the woman who walked in without an appointment. No one started my services until 7:45pm, a full 30 minutes after my appointment time. The pedicure was of poor quality and looked like someone without much experience did it. My manicure chipped on 6 nails the day after the service. I will never go to this salon again. read more

I had the sorest feet from a 15 hour flight, and just wanted some relief! It's no day spa, but it's professional and clean - the rooms are small, and you can hear people in the other rooms. Definitely come if you're after a great massage and not after a full 5 star experience. This is the best cha spa location! The building itself is so nice and the staff is great. The ladies are all really nice and accommodating. Always smiling and never feel rushed. I got a combo massage and mani/pedi and it was perfect. I wouldn't go anywhere else in the area. I felt super pampered for a couple of hours and for a really great price!! Amy the massage therapist tried super hard to get all my knots! I have super tight shoulders and she did a perfect job. Lots of pressure which I like. Emily and may were a great team of manicurist and pedicurist. They even recommended a better color for my toes after the first coat. The female massaging Jing has professional hands and knows what and how to do the pleasant massage. I actually loved the other Cha Spa locations so maybe it is just this Montana spot but I was blown away by the lack of professionalism and disparity in service here. My friend got a gel while I got a regular mani and the woman rushed my nails so fast that the woman doing gel on my friend hadn't even finished buffing my friend's nails when I was completely done. I still have cuticles that should have been cut off and the paint job was not the worst but still missing slightly on the sides for a few. One of the girls not working then proceeds to watch random videos loudly on her phone while I am trying to relax waiting for my friend then comes and gets into a slouched posture on the pedicure spot right next to me (there were a lot of other spots she could have taken not near any customers) so the noise and her laughter are right in my ear. Have never experienced anything like this and was never allowed to be on my phone in front of customers during any of my retail jobs much less watching videos loudly right next to them. I understand if you're bored and another customer is not in but please go to the employee area so your customers can feel relaxed and enjoy their experience. Really sad cause I had raved about them before but don't think I will be back anytime soon after this. read more

The service itself was very good. But the seating was not at all confortable. They had a type of banquette style seating. I'm used to massage chairs. I guess it's because I'm short that I could not sit comfortably without slipping down on the bench. It just wasn't the relaxing "zen out" experience I'm used to. read more
