Just came off a private party cruise with Chablis! Cannot say enough praises about the crew, captain and the wonderful food. Three hours of cruising with beautiful views of Morro Bay and spectacular sunsets, sea life and all around good food and drinks. Definitely recommend this experience for visitors or as it happens us locals. No complaints just pure joy and relaxation! Zen Behavior. Thank you John and Kim for setting it up and including us all!! 12/25/2026 ROCKED!

Sweetest little bay cruise among an array of witches cackling for the Witches and Warlock Paddle. The crew was amazing and sweet. Full no host bar and a yummy lunch too that I didn't realize was included. Great price as well. Inside and outside seating.

You have to check out Chablis Cruises. Our daughter bought us a chowder cruise for two and it was amazing!! This cruise is excellent for couples, families, friends, maybe even solo. The lunch was wonderful, ample, really tasty, and fresh! The girls working the ship are so sweet and provide excellent service. The cruise goes throughout all the ends of the bay. We live 30 min away, so I will definitely take visitors whenever the opportunity arises!!

The chef prepared wonderful multi-course meals and a brilliant appetizer charcuterie spread for my parents' 50th anniversary. We got to enjoy what was basically a huge reunion while coasting through Morro Bay and basking in the sunset and cool ocean breezes. A friendly staff and well-organized crew. Thank you. There were around 40 adults and a few kids, the upper deck does require adult supervision, for sure. But the views were worth it. Only one pair of sunglasses were lost to the sea that night!

Outstanding adventure on the Chablis! It started when I called to make our reservation. The woman, Patty, was so friendly and knowledgeable. We received a confirmation and also a reminder the day before via email. The embankment was very organized and informative. When we found the perfect seats, we were asked by the most friendly staff if we wanted bottomless mimosas or a drink from the bar. My husband enjoyed the bottomless mimosas and I had a delicious lemon drop martini. The selection of food items were perfectly prepared. There was meat, vegetarian, gluten-free, fish, salads, fresh fruit, and waffles to order. The staff was absolutely amazing, coming by to see if u needed anything throughout the cruise. Honestly, we were so pleasantly surprised with everything about the brunch cruise. Excellent, job everyone.

Ask the Community - Chablis Cruises

I only see the brunch and the chowder cruise even though it shows a site seeing cruise. I've been trying to call them all day but have not gotten an answer. What days are the site seeing tours? Times? Thank you!

When we signed up for this Saturday brunch cruise online, it gave us the option of picking the cruise only instead of the brunch at that time. So I believe that you could take the cruise and just not have the brunch but I’m not positive

On a quick day trip on a Friday afternoon, we decided to give this place a try. No reservation and were promptly greeted and seated. Although we did not have a full bay view, we had a partial bay view. Some hits and misses with food and service. 1. Bowl of Clam Chowder (no bread bowls available). Chowder was piping hot and had nice pieces of clams (dad got a bit of clam shell..so be careful), celery and potatoes. The chowder was very creamy and not grainy or watery like other locations. I would definitely order again 5/5 2. Fish & Chips: Fresh Pacific cod, lightly breaded, served with house-made tartar sauce. Fish was fried to perfection. 5/5 3. Seafood Pasta: Linguini with jumbo prawns, fresh catch, Cajun cream sauce, garlic bread. Everything tasted fresh and seasoned perfectly 5/5 4. Side of Garlic bread: extremely disappointing. We ordered garlic bread with our chowder, it never came. Waitress decided to serve it with the mains (fish and chips) and we ordered for the entire table and she only brought 2 pieces. 5. Insalata Molina: Mixed greens, arugula, pear, walnuts, crumbled blue cheese, mango vinaigrette. Couldn't tell you if this was any good bc the waitress NEVER brought but charged us for it. She then takes it off the bill and brings me the salad in a Styrofoam container. I told her I didn't want it and put it in my bag. Salad was so soggy (which means the kitchen prepared it and the waitress forgot to serve it) I would not order and do not recommend ordering it bc it was the size of a side salad definitely not worth the price point. 6. Mocktail Lavender lemonade: definitely not balanced, was pretty tart and again the price point was off. It was about 8oz lemonade for $12 They do offer a nice selection of wines. Restrooms are located outside the restaurant and are public restrooms, pretty dirty and out of stock. Although our service was a big miss, I do recommend the food items we ordered. I did take a star off due to the service.

There's no dedicated parking but there's plenty of street parking around the area. We were able to get a window seat and was able to enjoy a nice sunset view and take lots of photos by their balcony area. We ordered the halibut, black cod, cioppino, dungeness crab cake, mixed greens and all the dishes were all decent but I can't say I was blown away by any of them. The dishes were on the pricier side as well. Overall the service was good and they were attentive with checking in on us and refilling the water. The only surprising thing about the place was that there was an additional 3% fee on credit card transactions which they apparently indicate on their menu (which I missed), and the waiter didn't mention either, so I was taken back when I saw it on the bill. While I understand they're trying to offset their costs, it is pretty rare these days and I wish the waiter gave us a heads up. Overall, the view was great and the food was decent.

We were greeted immediately by a very friendly waitress, who set us up at a table for eight with a spectacular view of Morro Rock in the back bay. My husband and I had been here for hors d'oeuvres before, so we had scoped out the menu. I knew whatever I had should involve some coconut shrimp. I ordered a Sauvignon Blanc while we contemplated the menu. One couple of our party ordered pasta with shrimp or pasta with salmon. My husband got the grilled chipotle salmon, and a couple of us got the captain's plate which had a big assortment of fried coconut shrimp, calamari, and fish on a bed of fries. It's the most spectacular view on the coast and it is perfectly set up as a happy hour hors d'oeuvre bar. There's a long bar, many different sized tables and even an outdoor area with tables on the porch. The food might be kind of standard fair but it's well done and it's very generous portions. The bartenders very skilled at making drinks. The server even suggested a honeybee martini which sounded very tempting, but most of us stuck to wine. The servings are very generous. The food is crisp and succulent seafood. The extravagant chipotle salmon was a little bit spicy, but well cook cooked throughout with delicate rice under it. Several people in this group have a prodigious sweet tooth, so we perused the desert menu after the meal. One couple got the triple berry tart, while my husband and I split the cheesecake. As a former New Yorker, I have high standards for cheesecake and this was a good B+ effort. It could've benefited from some caramel sauce or maybe more fruit on it. It was the perfect place to gather, to share lots of jokes and fun!

The shrimp tacos and the beans were also favored but, like the previous dish, the rice was also in need of moisture. The Steak Frites was the highlight of the table and a must order. The deserts were both fantastic but the Apple Cobbler was to die for. If you traveled 100 miles only to order the cobbler... it would be worth your time. Clearly there was a master chef behind the scenes wielding magic. Being the first night at the Inn, the Inn seems to be a hidden gem of Morro Bay. I would recommend venturing to this peaceful refuge.
